boko haram started fighting during the time of late yaradua, what can u say about that? People just hate buhari because he is a northener, assuming buhari was from lagos or enugu, he would have won aprill polls with a greater margin. Buhari was the man, and we have missed him!!
Ok you are saying that the north hates GEJ cos he is from minority. Who heard abt Boko Haram during Yar'Adua?
They need amnesty, dont worry we will use accruals from cow business to give them Amnesty not oil money.

Leave her alone. Oyibo even makes mistake, just that the enforce their mistakes on everybody an make it a standard.
consider
Give her her book (good)
Give him him book (supposed to the the right sentence)
Give him his book (a mistake converted to standard)

He who plays football = A player (good)
He who reads = A reader (Good)
He who sings = A singer (Good)
He who cooks = A cooker (Good but since Oyibo made an initial mistake to have called him a cook, now it is Wrong)
He who cooks = A cook (Good but supposed to be wrong as the food being cooked is supposed to be the cook)

Bringing Mrs Dame's grammar into perspective

If the doctors and nurses had not responded quickly when the patients were brought to be treated, then the patients may have not survived
So, the first thanks go to the Doctors and Nurses that responded promptly to the treatment
then the patients thanks (for responding to treatment) will also go to God and the doctors and nurses.

So she is right after all.

Lesson Learnt:

Always thank Doctors and nurses for responding to treatment.

wirinet:
Wrong move. When the militants were bombing and kidnapping people, did the northern people threaten war? As long as boko haram does not attact their land, they have no case for retaliation. What they should do is to support GEJ to take decisive action and then support him in whatever way if his powers as C IN C
is being compromised.
Did the militants molest pr kill the northern prominent men in their states?

Boko haram are killing people from different tribes for what cause?

He has achieved something already. Fuel stability, improved power, awarding the contract to build new refineries with take off grants, opening of textile mills etc in 3months. Be realistic For 8yrs obj did not improve power, did not stabilize fuel supply. During Obj the textile industries died. Give him a chance. He is trying. Boko Haram is a distraction but he will deliver at last.

O ye brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good,

John the Baptist came neither eating nor drinking, people said he was demon possessed
Jesus came eating and drinking they said he is gluttonous

When the Israelites were in Egypt, they cried they were dying
When God heard them and decided to take them back to a promised land, they now recognized they were enjoying in Egypt

Abacha and OBJ came killing opponents and being autocratic, people wanted them out, that they were not following rule of law.
Yar'Adua and GEJ came following rule of law to the latter, they said they are week that they now prefer Abacha and OBJ all Christians prayed and fasted to God, Muslims did same to Allah, traditionalists libated to their juju for them leave office dead or alive.

What can we do for people to be happy.

In 3 months Jonathan is expected to build castle in the air.

When OBJ was in office, he spent 2 years on international tour, we have forgotten when we were calling him minister of tourism.

well haters should go to tribunal and stop causing insecurity

The earlier you people realise that buhari is not in power and stop living in assumptions, the better for you.

Buhari is not in charge and cannot be rated on assumption. Only when he is there that u can rate hime. So all of you who are employed to campaign for buhari should wait till 2015 and stop disturbing our ears, If buhari Ko things will be better ni.

All I'm saying it's time to face reality and stop dead dreaming (not Day Dreaming) cos it will not move us forward.

The question is, Now that GEJ is there, what will we do to move the country forward not to frustrate him and blame it in If Buhari had, it wouldnt have happened that way

Buhari is never the man anytime any day. We His efforts and all his supported effort to make the nation ungovernable like they agreed has failed. He should keep quiet. We thought he had worse plans not knowing it is just boko haram.

If he had no skeleton in his pocket, why did he oppose the investigation of post election violence? In his words he said the federal government cannot probe election violence which means he had skeleton in his cupboard.

We in the south are not fools. We are watching carefully to see what this will turn out to. Nobody has the monopoly of violence. We are just watching.

We will know when anyone touches GEJ. If GEJ is week, Yar'Adua(Late) was weaker yet we allowed him to rule.

or rather than build a refinery in the east, they build a refinery in Kaduna, and run a pipe from the east all the way to Kaduna. Fooooolish!
Refinery being in the north is not quite a bad idea but not building gas turbine in the north. Why I said refinery isn't a bad idea is that the cost of transporting finished products is higher than the cost of transporting crude oil. So, as long as there the requirement for building refinery like availability of water or stream is met, refinery can be sited in the north but not gas turbine because the cost of transporting gas is much greater than the cost of transmitting electricity besides we already have a national grid.

And we all know dat behind dis phenomenon of backwardness is Tribalism and disunity. Address dat and all the other problem will just be a matter of time for completion. A divided house can not stand.
You are very right. If we want Power, what prevents us from establishing enough Power plant in Niger Delta where it will be close to the raw materials.

We want to share it to all regions even when we know it is waste of money. Nonesense.

We are not ready to solve power problem otherwise we will choose a state say Bonny Island where we have the gas and build all our power plants and link it to National grid.

Tribalism is why we are this backward. Nobody wants to reason well. Imagine a country going to site hydro plant in a desert, such is similar to building gas turbines in north and west where there is no gas (stupid politics) and expect the plant to run (may be African Magic can happen)

What if your phone does not have an installed bible file?
.

That's the first thing I look for when I want to buy a new phone. It has been very useful to me because it allows me to search for the actual words when I forgot their locations.

It is just that simple that I don't use phones without installing a bible on them.
Christianity EtcRe: Your Bilble And Your Phone by sirjec(m): 9:12am On Aug 11, 2011
Ignorance is a dangerous disease. The bible contains the word of God just like many phones contain the word of God. Unlike other religions who makes their religious book idols, we true Christians give more respect to the content. Such contents can be in your phone, PDA, computer, etc. So I might even decide not to have the book called the bible and still have a bible. The whole thing is to do the content not to have the book and worship the book but rather worship God

The allocation to the Niger Delta states are supposed to be much greater that the ones given to northern states: The Niger Delta states are mostly swampy areas and it is much more expensive to maintain. Besides the revenues are gotten from there, so why cant government take good care of them instead the states cannot be compared with other northern contemporaries, That is what MEND is fighting to, What is Boko Haram fighting for?

Its time the muslim community come out en masse to criticise the activities of these sects. This has been the bane of muslims all over the world, while a small percentage of hardline islamist run loose killing innocent souls irrespective of their religion in the name of allah, the rest of the islamic world watch with their arms folded only to come out later to claim islam is a religion of peace. If islam is a religion of peace. then who stand 4 peace should jettison their comfort and demonstrate this. Abi are they too scared of their supposed brothers in armshuh?!!!!!! lipsrsealed
In as much as I'm not a muslim but I like being objective. Who wants to die? Any muslim leader who reprimands them or asks them to stop the actions automatically becomes a target. The best thing to do is to find out the people involved in this. Their source of money (via EFCC and bank managers), their source of weapons (via our force police, sss, military, navy etc), and their location via anonymous neighbours who will remain anonymous. Thereafter actions can begin,

My brother, I just wonder why we are killing ourselves instead of loving ourselves and satan is by the corner laughing at us.

Everybody has right to life. And I wonder why people think they can fight for God who has even asked us to cast our burdens on him. We have satan to fight so that we can live a good life but we ignore our part and choose to fight for our creator.

Don't you think we are acting foolish? There is so much hatred because of diverse religion in this country. Why can't we just concern ourselves with making our lives good the way we will please God and leave people offending God for God to punish them.

What muslims are doing is not good; they look for opportunity to kill innocent Christians via riots. We need to stop all these killings and find a solution to our personal problems not God's problem. Our part is to preach to them and pray to be and stand upright in our ways.

1luvkipsus:
@sirjec: trust me,more innocent muslims ve died in this boko haram crisis than 'innocent christians'.
Do you think all those that have died through these riots deserve to die? We need to stop all these hated.

I can't bliv anyone can still reason like this after reading such an intellectual right-up. It really shows how shallow/linear some people think. The question I'll like to ask you is how many people have been forced to convert in Nigeria or in any of the countries where Non-interest banking is operational.

Maybe you should read it again especially the one below.

Must we always throw away anything that will do us good just because of our hatred for its source?
Even when Noah alarted people of impending dangers, they used education to dismiss it till it happened.

You might have your explanations but try and reason deeper
PoliticsRe: The Hypocrisy Of Can And Its Collaborators by sirjec(m): 2:43pm On Jul 26, 2011
There is nothing we can do about it because God's word must come to pass. It was predicted that the Antichrist will come and people will have to worship him to survive.

Christianity is not a religion but a relationship and it is not forceful but convincing. Even if you are not a Christian, you are not forced into being one to get benefits but you are encouraged. But there is a lot of force in Islam which is one of the attributes of the Antichrist.

Look, I know you will not believe but a lot of people will be forced to change to Islam to become beneficiaries and by then, other banks would have been forced to metamorphose into islamic bank or fold up. Them people will have no choice but to join or suffer and die.

This is the coming of the antichrist
