Hope the whole Nigeria gathered and stopped the dredging of River Niger so that Ibos will not bring in their goods via Ships to their doorstep. Now the same people are suffering from the overflow of the river and now are shouting for River Niger to be dredged. This is one of the effects of trying to stop others from enjoying the free gift of nature

He who laughs last Laughs best. We are just watching and Laughing. Nema says more floods are coming so they better start dredging River Niger now so that the Ibos will have route for their ships

Politics / Re: Nigeria Not Doing Badly At 52, Says Senators by sirjec(m): 8:38am On Oct 03, 2012
David Mark is funny. @52 we have nothing to show for it and he is saying we should be grateful to God. I feel so bad because this country would have been better if not for people like him in power. SA is far younger and we are far behind them. Ordinary power we dont have. Uchechukwu Merije is absolutely right. The people we have in Government (Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary) are all culpable.
Politics / Re: 16 States To Be Flooded In One Week –FG by sirjec(m): 8:28am On Oct 03, 2012
Government should come together and treat this issue as a national one. They should have created a dam to absorb this water instead of asking people to relocate
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Jonathan & Back-Stabbing Governors by sirjec(m): 9:28am On May 08, 2012
Fashola never did anything wrong. It is a spirit of sportsmanship to allow the people to protest. The protest was against the government which GEJ happens to be the head. GEJ was supposed to explain to the protesters that it was the agreement of all the governors with him but he didn't. I never saw anything wrong with what happened either from the governors side, masses side, or president side. Everybody did what was right. My only plea now is that they pass PIB and prosecute the subsidy regime defaulters
Politics / Re: 8 Officers In Abia Are Undergoing Trial For Disregarding Igp's Order On Checkpoi by sirjec(m): 12:25pm On Mar 08, 2012
We don't need road blocks. All we need is rapid response team fully equipped to combat crimes and situated in strategic positions in every state. Then they should distribute phone numbers to everybody to call in in case of emergency.

Okumagba roundabout is still notorious.

Good work IGP

Politics / Re: I Will Not Reverse My Directive On Roadblock Removal - Igp Abubakar by sirjec(m): 12:07pm On Mar 08, 2012
I never liked this man when I heard about his antecedents but I am beginning to like him based on his present.

How many stolen cars did police recover from check points or how many kidnapped persons did they catch the culprits?

IGP has done the right thing and I fully support him for that.

You're a complete utter m.oron.  Where did you confirm anything ''Iran'' said, apart from the rubbish spewn on western television??

Do you have the brain to imagine the implication of escalation of such a conflict

Thoughtless, warmongering, bloodthirsty, myopic slave to western propaganda.

When Russia and China join hands with Iran (since they have a defence pact) and nuclear bombs start flying all over the place, do you think you and your family will be safely exempt from the fallout?? OLODO!!!  angry angry angry angry

Look I am entitled to my opinion. Iran said it. Check your records. Learn how to speak without insulting someone unless you are uncultured or never tasted breast milk at childhood

Politics / Re: Us Lauds Alison-madueke’s Leadership Of Oil Industry by sirjec(m): 2:25pm On Mar 06, 2012
This country US is adopting terrorism and sycophancy as a means of increasing their oil importation.

Ok now they are trying to help us, let us send all the oil to US, Nonsense

They should allow us to be after all  we are not having any nuclear plant so we are not guilty of any offense.
Politics / Re: U.s. To Nigeria: Develop North To Beat Boko Haram by sirjec(m): 2:17pm On Mar 06, 2012
Jarus:

Sanusi said tackling poverty/resource distribution is key to solving the violence in teh North, he was labelled a bigot and BH member
Bill Clinton said practically same few days later, it was rationalized
US government is also saying something within the context, I have not heard anyone say US is also BH.

Even if we disagree with these views, intellectual rebuttals should be put forward and practical alternatives put forward rather than label the advocates!

Read my posts and you will see what I have said. USA should shut their trap. If you are in Ilorin enjoying fresh air do you know how polluted our air in Niger Delta is? When the northern leaders in the past was allocating states to individuals, what were they thinking of? What has been given to SE after the civil war yet their states are being developed?

Let us call spade a spade. If the north is not developed, their leaders should be held responsible and not the allocation formula.

I know you have a mixed blood from the north or you are looking for favour from Sanusi or the north, but try to say the truth I must advise.

How much goes to states like Ebonyi and Enugu that do not receive the 13% oil money? Are they terrorists?

Let the northern youths engage in meaningful activities instead of staying on the street begging for food in the name of almajiri. With that kind of education, will you employ any of them to work for you?

Let them account for all they have done with their allocations from 1999 till date then we can now listen to them

To crown it all, they are all thie.fs
Politics / Re: Nigeria: Sokoto Acting Governor Spent N1.52 Billion In Three Weeks by sirjec(m): 2:02pm On Mar 06, 2012
1.52 billion from oil states. Shame on the northern states. They can make their own money and be more responsible.
Politics / Re: Israeli Fear Over Iran Nuclear Program by sirjec(m): 1:59pm On Mar 06, 2012
Israel should not waste time to attack people that said that they should be wiped out from the face of this world.

Imagine if Iran succeeds and sends one to Israel, killing everybody. Even if America attacks them then, it will be only the military cos the whole world will say they should not kill innocent civilians but meanwhile Israel would have been eliminated from the face of the earth.

Israel should act faster than they are doing now. They should send in their unmanned fighter jets to destroy all their nuclear plants.
Politics / Re: What Has Martin Elechi Achieved in Ebonyi state? by sirjec(m): 1:07pm On Mar 06, 2012
Ebony is the poorest state in Nigeria yet they are not terrorists like the North that receive huge allocation and still create terrorists as tools to get more allocations. They are thiefs
Politics / Re: U.s. To Nigeria: Develop North To Beat Boko Haram by sirjec(m): 1:01pm On Mar 06, 2012
They can open consulate anywhere they want but they should not try to tell Nigeria what to do. They should look at the allocations to each states and see who is underdeveloped or how can we create job in the north? By Agip going to open HQ there? If USA want land in Kano, they should go and buy from the Emirs, but they should not act as if they are sympathizing with them cos the poorest state in Nigeria is Ebonyi yet they are not terrorists

Politics / Re: States With Solid Minerals To Get 13% Derivation by sirjec(m): 12:51pm On Mar 06, 2012
let them get 13% from the money accrued from only solid minerals. You cannot say that you have minerals on paper and they will give you 13% from oil money.

Explore your minerals, make money and take 13% from all you make
Politics / Re: U.s. To Nigeria: Develop North To Beat Boko Haram by sirjec(m): 12:46pm On Mar 06, 2012
Story. So it is their ploy to ask for more money. You can go and lobby USA to cry for you but you are wasting your time. When you were allocating states to every family, you thought Oil money will be used to develop it. Explore your solid minerals and develop your states.

The oil money has not even developed all the Niger Delta States let alone the north

Politics / Re: Boko Haram Vow To Attack South South Part Of Nigeria by sirjec(m): 1:29pm On Mar 05, 2012
Bros I am an Ibo man from Abia State. Just facing reality. My brother, Nigeria is all about the north. Can't you see? The oil companies are owned by them, the oil blocks are owned by them, everything is owned by them. So how can you fight them when we in the south are still fighting ourselves and preferring them to our neighbors?

The south must be united to stand the north otherwise we are wasting time.

Like I said, when they bombed Madalla Church, you saw how security was tightened in the south to avert reprisal. If they still bomb here, the same will happen

Politics / Re: Boko Haram Vow To Attack South South Part Of Nigeria by sirjec(m): 12:01pm On Mar 05, 2012
Funny. You people talk as if you are not in Nigeria. Even if they strike the south, nothing will happen. The military will occupy your street and even make sure you don't come out from your house. I tell you, you better pray it doesn't happen that saying reprisal.

The north have our forces in our land to fight us should we try to retaliate. Now that he boko haram are bombing places, they are invincible, and it is as if our military is not trained to counter them. Try it from the south then you will know that the military is well trained and is willing to kill innocent citizens here to quench your reactions.
Politics / Re: This Governor No Be Small Governor - Rochas by sirjec(m): 11:28am On Mar 05, 2012
Nomalization. When you are used to something, you don't see what is wrong in it but the second someone else enters, he sees a lot of things wrong with the same thing.

That we were not being paid as a student does not mean students should not be paid now. In the olden days, these our fathers were given scholarships, catered for while they were in school but now it is not being done again. If Rochas is giving them money, the money is supposed to be for their upkeep.

I don't see anything wrong in that.
Politics / Re: Abiola And Awolowo Who Is Greater?. by sirjec(m): 11:21am On Mar 05, 2012
How can you compare cow and goat?
Do you think a cow due to severe emaciation can become as small as a goat?
Awo is a cow while Abiola is a goat (I mean in size)
You cannot compare both
