omojesu202: it will surprise you to know that if you google which governor is at the forefront of sounding this alarm in Nigeria you'll see Plateau at number one. Try it more than Lagos? Naw . The Lagos commissioner provides its own update on daily cases and testing, they are even clamouring on the need for more oxygen. But plateau and kaduna? Nothing. Mind you I listen to the news almost everyday. |

Funny enough plateau is also recording high numbers but they're not sounding the alarms like Lagos, Fct, Kaduna & Rivers . |

Agboriotejoye: Well, according to the news, the main target are health workers and immigration, airport, customs, police etc. Remind me again which state has the highest a most vulnerable of that category. Besides, common sense will dictate that since it's a respiratory and highly contagious disease, priority areas should be arranged based on population density. I didn't say they were on top of the situation This will probably not materialize like most of their corona policies. |
Health › Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Sharing Formula For Nigeria by SirWarlock: 3:21pm On Jan 09, 2021 |
Agboriotejoye: What difference does that make? probably cos it's not for the general population just yet just a select few people. |

SeriouslySense: People don't really need vaccines, so let the rich get it or connected get it, they may even get infected with something else or they may become more prone to other things in the long run, so don't worry People are existing just fine. True i don't know how the vaccine will impact on us apart from a few select people and maybe health workers . |

Lagos State with the highest number of infected patients that needed urgent attention is going to receive less than Kano.....a well known professor once said that we should forget everything about this administration.. so must we continue to stomach everything plateau is also receiving less than some states also so where is the politics? |

How are we going to store them in the cold chain with just sub-constant power . Also did I just see kogi state . |

aysnoopy: COViD-19 is real but not deadly, also they are inflating the numbers to achieve there personal aim Like if you agree with me then they aren't inflating it enough then. Also who exactly is gaining, ncdc? Cos they get the figures from states. |
Health › Re: COVID-19 Update For January 8 2021 In Nigeria by SirWarlock: 2:56pm On Jan 09, 2021 |
ceejayluv: The numbers are even underestimated.... You can't test less than one percent of the population and say it's inflated. NCDC hasn't even scratched the surface of the real statistics. also can't test that low and then claim we're in a second wave . Are they saying our second wave just decided to wake up at the end of the year . |

eki2000: This is fruad, totally unacceptable. Why keep on raising the numbers to attack resumption of schools. Is Education the sector causing rise of COVID 19, when worship centres are opened, markets and event centres are operating. Please they should stop this local assumption, it's not compulsory they should follow the rest of the world by increasing figures! tell states to stop reporting then if they don't want any reason to close down schools . It's not that hard . Only problem is federal schools are under the FG(PTF) . |

Kingstanding: . I believe covid19 is existing but Nigeria government is useless. Those citizens that didn't believe about covid19 I can't blame them because Nigeria government is a big liar and not trustworthy. Why did Nigeria government find it difficult to publish those who were infected with covid19 to the public so that people will believe them ? Useless and nonentity leaders. they're useless alright but not for whatever you wrote up there . Why not ask them to publish names of HIV patients . |

ChiefS: 1. Do some research on the mutation of viruses. 2. Visit LUTH or IDH Yaba what do those have to do with i said . The virus mutated? Ncdc/MoH hasn't said that. They also haven't said it's what is responsible for the 2nd wave neither have they said the mutated strains in UK and South Africa are responsible. Can they tell if they're here? Who knows . They've always been trailing everything, maybe they're waiting for int'l researchers to help us find out. Too many questions for people even willing to take precautions . Like how Kogi and loads of other states are okay dishing out occasional numbers or how Kogi has been stuck at 5 and it's not causing crisis there one bit or they're good at hiding the crisis. Again while it's not light situation, according to LASG they haven't run out of beds yet so hopefully we don't get overwhelmed . |

alizma: Let us be guided, this second wave will be more deadly, do you know why? A lot of people who had earlier took the covid19 serious during the first wave have been brain washed by those people who never believed there was covid19. If you look carefully around you, you will observe that despite the increase in the figure, people don't seems to give more attention to the preventive measures like they did during the first wave. The seemingly carelessness is not limited to individuals alone, private and government establishments are not left out. We now do more of talking but less of actions towards prevention i get your point but it's pretty much the same thing. I mean we didn't do anything special really when the cases started dropping and now for some reason they're going up again. Now some states just record occasionally and they call this a second wave . Maybe for the top 6 states sha. Here it has always been if you're lucky you won't catch, if you aren't you will, no matter how much you try to protect yourself well except you're buhari . |
