the OP didnt give the womans reason(s) for her decision. what were her reasons that she would refuse the MIL stay in the house even at the point of sickness?

FamilyRe: How Does One Get A Divorce by Sissy3(f): 10:17am On Aug 28, 2010
polosco:
Marriage is for better for worse, for richer for poorer, to be with till death do them part, not to run into and run out of it sometime later. Civilization has eroded the virtue of Christian marriage, may God return us to the basics of the Christian home
and im sure you wouldnt have a problem with your daughter/sister being constantly abused and tormented physically and emotionally by their husbands.  you will take it like a 'man' and send them back to their husbands after-all marriage is for better, for worse. including, for abuse or no abuse, premature death by abuse or not. lest they forget, thats what they get for being married and most definitely what they indirectly signed on to.

FamilyRe: Couples Attending Different Churches,is It Wise? by Sissy3(f): 9:56am On Aug 28, 2010

Sissy you should talk to a catholic, they do not believe your the same. My wife is a catholic and she keeps telling me how she is so different. I am Baptist and I keep telling her we are the same. We do go to seperate churches. I reason it that my relationship with God is supreme. Hope I see her in heaven.
different as in different God, Jesus, heaven, fight for salvation? if none of the mentioned is different then there is really no difference. it is the same Christianity, the same heaven so at the end of the day its still the same. yes, catholics and baptist may differ in ways of worship/principles however, when all is said and done, they both believe in the SAME Jesus and Same heaven. catholic or baptist is not a guarantee of heaven and no church offers "easy" passport to the heaven. both still have to work HARD to reach heaven.

Some siblings do steal husbands/boyfriends.  Some share.  Gross.
exactly. some even kill each other due to sibling rivalry

stillwater:
Naa I don't think it was over the top. Infact I think it was below the top. That kind of sister can kill somebody. As a family member I wouldn't want to be her next experiment. So I would say the disowning is just a protective measure for every life in that family. Even God will only forgive someone who has shown remorse/repentance. undecided She hasn't shown any sign of that. There are consequences for every action you take. She has laid her bed, let her lie on it.
true. kind of find hard for ones whole family disowning the person. the importance of family/having a family really makes it hard for me to digest. i guess thats just me.  im sure someday she will greatly regret it undecided
I am having problems accepting this whole story, not only for the motive of the sister but on the acceptance of the pregnancy by the husband after chopping the nyash only once, without DNA evidence! I have seen girls that got pregnant for their inlaws, but have not seen any that is bold enough to live on after the pregnancy.
, and has feelings for the babe if the story is true. In the version that happened to a friend, it was the husband with the sugar stick that threw out the wife and three kids and lived on with the young sister.

Lots of grey areas.
now thats even worse

I also think this man had been chopping this nyansh repeatedly
i think so too.  methinks the dude has been enjoying the ride for a longer time. he did it once, mistake but twice and to the point of impregnating her? wondering whether he was charmed or the girl danced neked in house those saturdays the sis went out, that the man couldnt hold himself undecided

as for the dna thing, you know being nigerians, dna test isnt the first thing that will pop-out of their/our mind in kinda of thing cause its not something we are use to unlike oyibo people. and also the both sis was "sure" who knows the preg. and the husband admitted to it. i wish agatha suggested the dna to her though

i think its a point and lesson to all the would-be-parent reading this to treat your children equally, no favorism in children, love your kids equally in order to avoid this kind of situation
true. but sometimes its kinda hard to avoid
Are you kidding me!!! It infuritates me to read all is blamed on the 'evil' sister and the poor hubby must be forgiven!! Honestly, can you seriously believe he is innocent and make excuses! He wanted to send her away to save his wife the pain, pleassssseeee! He wanted to send the pregnant sister away to protect himself. Ever heard of walking away from the girl? At any point before the actual deed he could of stopped. She is being taken for a fool. Yes the sister is inexusable but we also dont know her reasons either. Both kn ew what they where doing and both went ahead and did it in the wifes sacred home. If he hasnt done it before how come it was so easy for him this time. Im sorry but nothing is worth that rubbish!!
well, this was what the Big sis gave as her sisters reasons for her action " She said whereas, our parents made her stay in Nigeria, I was given the opportunity to school abroad." . undecided

i mean you didnt think that was a bit over the top? what she did was more than hideous but the whole family practically disowning her? undecided

Moralistli:
let her go ahead and deliver d baby if she didn't want to abort it. Let them carry out DNA test after d delivering of d baby, my instinct tells me that this jezebel knows more than how to really shatter a happy home, That thing belongs to one of her street boy friends, her sista's hus is only a victim of wahala by tastin d forbbiden fruit.

D most devastating story i have read in years, Is there any kind of atrocity that hasn't really happened here on planet earth?
interesting! quite possible. esp knowing the fact that the big sis said that she " I noticed she had one or two men always around her."

Outstrip:
While I think that this marriage can somehow be rescues her husband has not taken responsibility and the wife also seems to be putting everything on her sister. Only a miracle can save this marriage but I thin only after this man has accepted full responsibilty not some bullcrap like she r.a, ped him
i guess, it will be more easier for him to escape "huge" blame and condemnation if he continues to blame it on the girl and hes probably "winning"
FamilyRe: Pains Over My Sister’s Pregnancy For My Husband… by Sissy3(op): 11:14pm On Aug 14, 2010
abi. the sis must feel fulfilled and mission accomplished.

do you feel the family was right in disowning her?
FamilyRe: Pains Over My Sister’s Pregnancy For My Husband… by Sissy3(op): 10:06am On Aug 14, 2010
i dont doubt it. its quite possible even with such ridiculous sounding reasons. some people regardless of ties are pure wicked and think no good of their fellow man. and some do take the sibling rivalry to the upper next level. and knowing how the sister must have felt about her big sis, possibly being liked by everyone, preferred by their parents, sent to the best schools, married the 'best' man etc are quite reason enough to trigger her kind of person. and things like this do happen but it goes down in the 'archives of the family secrets' and are rarely heard in public as such.

awww poor girl cry cry cry. very CUTE and ADORABLE baby

see how poverty gave the dirty man the false sense of entitlement over this girl to the extent of giving birth in prison

God dey

since he requested the money to be given to the GM, shouldnt him and the police at least try to find the GM and hear him out before locking the poor girl up?

FamilyRe: Pains Over My Sister’s Pregnancy For My Husband… by Sissy3(op): 8:26am On Aug 14, 2010
i guess the dude is only sorry that he was caught because had the girl gone ahead with one of his plans he would have never even mention it or even be truly remorseful of it.

however, i get this feelings that he would be one of those men who would want his child back(if the lil sister kept the baby) if his wife dont give birth or have a son.

the sister is more than despicable, not only has she intentionally caused her sister emotional scars, the mother has also suffered a lot plus the whole family. i wonder what she truly think she was going to gain, her mothers/family support? or approval from the outside? oga o. people have heart o. tufikwa

of course the man is doing all he can to cover his azz up, rape, seduce etc are all part of the coverup plan. why didnt he even tell the wife earlier if he was so remorseful and knew fully well that the sister wasnt going to keep "quite" afterall?

pareto:
I observe in virtually all the places i have being that women are able to cope more with stress than men.
Either at home or in the office.
For instance, a man and a woman both leave for work in the morning and come late at night.
Despite this, a woman will still enter the kichen.
but a man while looking so tired would rather want to be alone. either watching TV, reading news paper,
be with his laptop or even go to bed.
This is one of the reasons I appreciate my AFRICAN WOMAN!

with the nasty attitude her sister has, who knows she might even want to move in with them or else she will extort the man die. i mean her only intent is to/will be to cause her sister much pain just to get revenge. kai people are wicked o undecided
