FL Gators:pardon ma lateness my dear! ![]() as for the age to start, i think it greatly depends on the comfort level of parents and their degree of patience. cooking with kids will require patience, cox they will definitely be all over the place, they will ask questions about everything, and will try to touch everything which is something not all parents have the patience for or want. while opinions may vary on what age to start, imho, i think around 3,4,5,6yrs when you are baking, pancake etc you should probably invite them to join. mixing things like the dough, pouring things will likely interest them. doing small things like that with, will be fun for you and them. around 8, 9, 10, you should invite them to help you out, with very simple task in the kitchen. around 12,13, 14 or so, you supervise them and after that, you should present them with certificate of completion in kitchen manners ![]() |

thats life. |
then what is the essence of the marriage then? leaving in different homes not due to inconvenience but choice? makes no sense. |
cheating might be forgivable depending but having a child as a result of the cheating? captial NO |
it should be a teaching moment for the daughter. meaning, the mom should use the opportunity to teach her little chef some kitchen lessons. first, when she called you and you happily went down, you should instead of scolding her give her a high five or thank her, at least she remembers that mommy sometimes needs her breakfast in bed!!! then gently tell her that this isnt how this is done, dont use this or do this or that next time etc or when next time you want to make mommy breakfast/food again, call me and i will help you and teach you how to do it properly. |
seguntijan:so in your view thats reason enough for the husband to file for divorce ![]() you also think its okay for the woman to only please her husband and his wishes on her hair, neglecting her own feelings ![]() |
i weep everyday for women and girls in this part of world. i weep for their suppression and maltreatment God why? |
no matter how nice and loving you try to paint and coat MILs, (sure many of them are very loving and very understandable) you cant deny the known fact that many MILs are living devils. who desire and deserve no peace or respect. these so called MILs forget the fact and ignore the truth that their DILs are also some other womans daughter who also deserve the respect, peace and love they, the MILs also desire. because they cared for their son etc doesnt give them to right to maltreat their DILs or dictate their sons life. respect is EARNED NOT DEMANDED. and no woman or man, MIL, AIL UIL etc will ever demand it from me,the same goes to them when it comes to me. i earn her respect not demand it. |
how many times is this topic going to be repeated sef ![]() |
since when sef did many men start leaving their parents house for their homes? |
FBS:yes its definitely a gender role reversal especially in a society where upkeep of the house is usually the womens job who mostly stay at home. since the woman works from morning to night, and the man stays at home, hes expected to at least keep the house clean/make something for the wife to eat when she comes home tired. taking of a child is not a disability that allows person to use it as an excuse not at least keeping the house clean. |
its never ok to forceful take something from someone. martial rape is something many people never know exist or choose not to believe it exist. many believe that once you are married you have no more excuse to say no to sex. and some wonder how can it be rape when the attack is her husband? this set of people assume that rape only happens when a strange grabs you from the back when you're walking in the dark alien, or alone or dressing scanty not someone you know, talk-less of your husband. |
LMAO!!! very funny reaction |
FBS:we have been culturally conditioned not to accept this kind of stuffs. women in our society are cultured to be take of things like this. homemakers and caring of the children are the womens job, while men work. not all everyone will accept the gender role reversal. |
definitely wouldnt work in nigeria or be socially/culturally accepted. the keywords? "shame" "unafrican" "silly" "chauvinism" etc imagine a man telling one of his male friends, "bro am on paternity leave oo" they will laugh his head off, the embarrassment and shame for even uttering the words sef would be worse than serving the leave. |
what would you do? ![]() your 4/5 year old wakes you up in the morning and says "mommy wake up, i made breakfast for you" what would be your first reaction? and then you happily went under stairs to find out your kitchen has just been invaded by messy aliens, how would you react? what would you say to your new little found chef? ![]() |
i think you signature definitely explains it best "~“Style” IS An Expression Of Individualism Mixed With Charisma !!~" ![]() i guess when it comes to "fashion" there is no pushing the limits. as long as she walk in those alien shoes, am good ![]() as for copying GAGA, they are all trying but definitely not succeeding coz anyone who succeeds will go mad like GAGA ![]() |
no matter the situation/condition life throws at you, always be grateful/thankful because there is always someone out there you are better than. dont always wish you were someone else, or judge others because you dont know what their life journey is all about/has been about |
ElRazur:most certainly agree. not even one, but 33 common now, someone in the group should have told them to use their brain and get the proper documentation. good thing Haiti is taking the issue of child exploitation seriously especially at this particular time when they are most vulnerable. |
vaginal odor you mean? kind of confused by your description |
OgidiBoy:they are all christians. you should have asked what's wrong with a catholic getting married in the redeemed church? why cant the parents allow the man to make the choice of where he and his new family would serve their God? if her parents were so concerned about the place of worship, why didnt they object the courtship/traditional marriage from the start? |
sweetmum:i dont get that part. she left the mans house with her sister and the pregnancy or she left the mans house for the sister and her ex husband? |
as others have already pointed out, this particular issue should have been settled out before even setting the wedding date. you dont get into this type of messy situation and expect a quick fix. your husband is not a catholic, you are not marrying your parents or inlaws or going to live with them either are they going to live your married for you. i dont really see the reason why your husband should be forced to wed in the catholic church while he has own church. |
Missy B:abi oo . at that point is where their leardership is most certainly required ![]() |
somehow you cant blame those women who chose their children as their next of kin. for many their marriage journeys forces them to make sure decision |
fertility test you mean pregnancy before the "wedding"? |
@ 28 years of age the woman is old enough to find out for herself how she can improve her intimacy life. Nothing concerns her mother here.
but you cant ignore the fact that many years of conditioning from her mom has greatly affected and impacted her views on sex. so her mother definitely has a big role to play here. and the fact that she was a virgin before she married also plays a role. if she wasnt a virgin and her mom told her all this, with early sexual experience she would have discovered the lies and probably not soaked in her moms bad advice. she will probably need some form of therapy/help to help undo the damages of her moms conditioning |
imo, compatibility. when both of your are compatible you both will at least be able to work through the journey of marriage |
I'm quite sure this woman who calls herself a mother is one of those women who are still in support of female circumcisionagree. she definitely fits the typical description of them. cos the whole idea of FC is usually to stop the woman from enjoying intimacy.
I have neva seen a mother (African) who has openly said to her daughter that intimacy is a good thing. If you watch a movies that has a intimacy scene with them, all they do is scream and ask you to change the channel. Bt well ,they are alwaz beliving they are protecting you from pre-martial intimacy.
its our culture. women arent allowed to express their sexuality. from early start our society and family encourage/force us to hide and suppress our sexuality. men are given the sexual freedom. and from that early start, many women have the mind set that sex isnt something to be enjoyed, just lie like a log of wood there and look up in the ceiling, it will be done soon. its only for children and for the men. the few who try to express theirs, are usually met with been "labeled". glad many women are definitely being sexually liberated from the medieval sexual suppression of society. interestingly enough those with the sex is dirty mindset ends up suffering from many sexually related problems in their marriage and relationships. |

abi you want to get served again

. This not exactly a gender role reversal. It's not like you have to "wash the dishes", "cook the food" while your wife is away - This is more about spending quality time with your very own flesh and blood.
