Islamically, aside calling for prayers which is usually not more than 5mins in most cases, every other activities must not be loud to the extent of disturbing the peace of the community. If you haven't talked to the Imam of the mosque, try discussing with him peacefully. If they persist, promptly report to LASEPA, attach your LASRAA ID, include address and telephone number.

Thanks for the advice, maybe I will try and discuss it with the Imam because we are really suffering in the compound.

A few years ago, one of the branches of Winners Chapels opened on my street.

It didn't take long for them to set up 4 loud speakers outside their church. My quiet mornings became filled with their cries to God to have mercy on his people.

I struggle with insomia, and I'm a light sleeper. Imagine how the quality of my days deteriorated, waking up angry and possed, the gruntings from the Head Pastor's throat banginge ear drums every morning.

I confronted them on many occasions, but nothing seemed to work. I then had the brilliant idea to make a video recording and upload to my Twitter account. I tagged their Headquarters and their main account, asked them if Jesus was wrong to ask them to pray in cupboards, quiet and away from the neighbors.

I also went to all their social media pages and made an asshole of meself..... Gotta say this year, I noticed they have moved their speakers in... I rarely know when they have services, and my street is no quiet as Bleep again... Even on Sundays.

Have you had a similar issue? How did you solve it?

. Hmmm your lucky it's church you can report. Mine is mosque where I just park in less than a year. Their ahuja is placed opposite my window and I only have issues only 5am and 6am prayers but we suffered so much from their noise during the last Ramadan. They will start from 2am till 6am and the worst is I don't normally sleep early. I went to bed mostly 12 and 1 am. How do I report them because I don't want them to call it blasphemy? Am regretting parking to the area honestly.

Well, am not in support of the slap on the police officer but putting him together with some criminal is just to shame him. I believe kutin pay much tax that they used to pay those police officers. You don't have to pay penny because you were given quit notice and not packed out on your own. Had it been that he took you to court the court would have given you six months to find a new apartment. So you don't owe him.

Why would Federal Govt buy shares of over $2 billion from a private individual when they have 4 refineries lying prone?...My thinking goes this way : I have four businesses that iam not managing well, then I go ahead and withdraw $2 billion dollars from those businesses to invest in a competitors business. Why not resuscitate your business instead of empowering a competitor ?
