And if there is going to be conflict, do you guys actually think Nigeria will fight SA with her current hardware? I don't think so, wars don't start overnight, it takes time to build up, i can assure you that Nigeria's military assets will be upgraded and if there isn't enough time to train our own people, then those equipment will be manned by foreign soldiers, and SA will also upgrade hers.
So all these silly comments is a waste of time, we are wasting time on something that will never happen. And i mean Never. Neither country possesses the capability

Ever heard of Asymmetric warfare? Those terrorists elements gave serious problems because they aren't fighting in a conventional way, how about you go to Afghanistan and ask the Western troops there how come they haven't been able to defeat the Taliban in over 10yrs and now propose to negotiate? Or why Columbia have to deal with guerillas for almost 50yrs or so?
If these elements come out of hiding and fight, they would have been defeated in a matter of days. Insurgency isn't easy to put down.

In this day and age, this even requires no training, it's simple common sense, this is what happens when there is really no separation between these agencies, in the US for example, soldiers, navy etc, have zero authority on the street, but in Nigeria, soldiers are busy assaulting cops, this isn't the first time this has happened, it's sad. Would a Western Government send any of their citizens overseas in such a case? Why send them abroad? Not like Nigeria is a small place, relocate them to another part of the country, along with their family, give them new identities and full scholarship, monthly allowance, etc.
