Hahaha lmfao I cant imagine those fights in the UK with arabs and the english- happen between white americans and arabs, dem no fit try am in yankee. Tippy Top: @frosbel Nigeria is better without ppl of your ilk. As I Christian I remember it was us Christians who started this latest round of t.i.t for tat. Why weren't you here in January to castigate Christians? Stop your myopic prism of seeing everything as Christians V Muslims. You sit in your one room rented dungeon in London and embark on frivolous scare mongering. Why didn't you split Nigeria before leaving for London or better still come and lead the crusade against the North. You my friend is an a.s.s.hole.
PS The "Political Correctness" which you so despise is why your monkey azz can walk through London without fear. Try asking people who lived in London prior to "Political Correctness" and the race relations act. Gone are the days when a white racist can walk up to you and call you a nigger, yet the progress that brought that about is abhorrent to you. Chei some ppl should not be allowed near a computer.

lol I dont what else to call someone who bombs places and kill people- except a terrorist lol
If Mend should bomb they should do it in an organized manner that will not effect their fellow deltans who are oppressed and even supprt the cause that mend fights for.
Killing fellow deltans shameeeeeeeeee and lame Go directly to the people you want get at, because whether bomb or no bomb kills people, elite are still going to make money. Many that have not even seen the delta for themselves.
Danjuma whos wife is from the SS probably has not even looked into the delta before and is still enjoying his half a billion dollars- he can careless if Mend blows pipelines or kills fellow deltans. |
Politics › Re: Divide Nigeria In Two, Says Muammar Gaddafi by sjeezy8: 10:49pm On Mar 16, 2010 |
Nigeria can split no doubt aslong as the whole middle belt comes along with us yorubas are in kwara and kogi while other progressive ethnic groups are in the middle belt also -tiv, igala etc as well. Its not about muslim and christian its about ethnicity. and theres no such thing as christian South unless your talking of christian SE because muslims are in yorubaland(SW) and edo(SS) but you dont hear of religous clashes. But sharia people should have their own country. for the simple fact they ant a sharia govt, but without the middle belt agreeing to split Nigeria it will never work. Its not even about yorubas -middle belt is the only strand holding Nigeria together. Cause the SW isnt leaving the middle belt. |

Onlytruth:

I thought I was the only one rolling on the floor with laughter. So, because there are Fulanis heading to Ogun and Lagos, some people are already shittin'g their pants
To think that I share a country with such cowards! Na wa o!
Let me tell everyone, the time has come for all those chanting one Nigeria to fight for it. Try your luck against the Fulanis this time, with the Igbo enjoying the spectacle over a bowl of popcorn. Pathetic cowards! Shakes head and continues rolling on the floor. lol I dont see anyone shittin in their pants nikku. And you should continue to eat your popcorn because Lagos indignes are mostly muslims - so if religous koto koto breaks na nonyoruba people go suffer the most. @ topic OPC/yorubas have delt with them in Lagos and Ogun and it has been going on for hundreds of years so nothing its new. Ethnic conflict escalates in Nigeria
The last month has seen serious outbreaks of ethnic conflict in Nigeria. On July 18 and 19 there were clashes in Sagumu, a town 30 miles north of Lagos in the south west of Nigeria.
The southwest is the homeland of one of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria, the Yoruba. Fighting took place between the Yoruba and Hausa who originate from the northern region of Nigeria. The conflict seems to have been sparked off after several days of a traditional Yoruba festival, the Oro. Traditionally those not involved in the festival are requested to stay off the street. Yoruba people spoke to a BBC reporter and said that the Hausas had not respected this tradition. The Hausas said they had been attacked indiscriminately.
The killing of a Hausa woman increased the tension. According to the August 2 South African Mail & Guardian, 60 people were killed in the clashes and thousands of Hausas had to flee to the north. The BBC reported that several Hausa people were killed in an attack on a Mosque by Yoruba youth. They also report that there were burnt corpses in the street and buildings set on fire.
Further ethnic conflicts occurred in the northern city of Kano, a commercial centre with a population of one million, over the weekend of July 24 and 25. The attacks on the minority Yoruba were reportedly in retaliation for the attacks on Hausas, when victims of the violence in Sagumu returned home to Kano. Assessment for Yoruba in Nigeria
The militant group, the Odua People’s Congress (OPC), is banned; as a result, the group’s freedom to organize politically is somewhat limited. In 2001-2003, a number of new Yoruba organizations have been formed. These groups could challenge the position of the OPC. The OPC has come to be seen by many as a criminal group, which instigates rioting with the Hausa/Fulani. The relative frequency of violence between the Yoruba and the Hausa/Fulani is an issue of concern. Mind you OPC members are Muslims also One Nigeria 4 life I love it. not really a big deal when the concern of most yoruba elite in Nigeria was to stay as one and have control over EVERYTHING- cause in a free and fair election a muslim SWer or yoruba middle belter would win time and time again.- fine with yorubas No big beal as many yorubas dont feel marginalised and actually enjoy naija. Alaafin embarked on prestige projects."
1793 - 1893 were the darkest years in the history of Yorubaland. Two things, acc-ording to Professor Akin-jogbin, happened bet-ween 1816 and 1824, which irrevocably changed the history and fortunes of the Yorubaland. First, in 1816, the jihad, which had been raging in the Hausa Kingdoms since 1804 was extended to NUPE (Tapa) next door to Yorubaland and the newly converted Nupe lost no time in declaring war against the Akoko and Akoko-Edo in eastern Yorubaland. Second, Afonja in 1817 invited Alimi, the Muslim itinerant preacher to Ilorin. The Professor put the sequence of events as follows: "Afonja in 1817 invited Alimi, the Fulani itinerant Muslim preacher to Ilorin. Alimi was not new in Yorubaland, for from about 1813, he had been going round such northern Yoruba large towns as far as Ikoyi and Ogbomoso. He had lived for three years in Kuwo, Solagheru's town, and was intending to settle there when Afonja heard of him and decided to invite him to Ilorin. He must therefore be presumed to have known Yorubaland fairly well and also to have been conversant with the on-going Fulani jihad. Afonja was not a Muslim and the invitation could have been conceived solely as a means of strengthening his military might with the charms that the Muslim preacher was expected to prepare. However, for Solagheru, who had earlier been invited by Afonja also from Kuwo and who might have known Alimi there, Alimi's arrival could be seen as an important addition to his jama'a at Oke-Suna. There is indeed a distinct probability that Solagheru might have influenced Afonja's invitation of Alimi to Ilorin, although the aim is not clear." Yorubas are far from cowards they just believe in One Nigeria cause many know that they cant lose in Nigeria with free and fair elections. |

One thing is that the Nigerian govt has reduced Nigerians to is people who cant think past religion or ethnicity. Its crazyyyyy Im tired of hearing about Jesus or muhammed and yoruba igbo ijaw hausas. It has severly handicapped all people. From the fake pastors everywhere to child witches, religous and ethnic clashes. Man they have really fukd Nigeria up CRAZY. Praying every damn time and fasting- im sooo tired of hearing those things- It makes me sick to my stomach both christians and muslims of Nigeria have issues. Muslims are violent and christian believe every child that is handicapped is a witch or is cursed. |

One of the inciting leaflets circulating in mosques urged Muslims to rise up against Christians in a holy war on the ground that they were losing their brethren to Christianity. Sounds like muslims are scared of soemthing I dont know of what- its not like theres aplot to kill muslims like they have plotted to do to christians. Why dont yoruba muslims on NL come and comment on things like this? |
