Court appointed lawyers are those apply to help offer legal representation to people without the financial means to do so. The court then pays them a stipend for their efforts. I think it is 500$ per case the last time i checked.


I spent the last 2 months fighting a DUI case in Texas. Spent a lot of money in order to get the case dropped.
Through my travails, i got schooled in the American legal system. This place is unforgiving and as soon as this lock down is lifted; i will be on the first flight back home. Nigerian embassy in U.S. has entirely abandoned people that were unfortunate enough to be outside Nigeria before the crises.
i have been in the U.S. for over 5 months even though i went for a 1 month business trip in March and was supposed to return end of April.

Good day guys, this afternoon my girl told me about how the husband of her boss spoke with her recently about having a relationship! The thing is this man and his wife are lawyers and they both share one office where my girl works as the secretary.

Although the woman comes to work frequently, the man is not so consistent in coming to the workplace. So pratically, the couple are both my girl's bosses.

Crazy thing is this man's wife is pretty! He has children. Why a married man would stoop so low to do this is what beats me. Why will you have a working relationship and choose to risk it over a one night fling? The wife of this man loves my girl like a daughter, helps her, gives her clothes etc.

Yet My girl needs this job or a job for that matter. Cos she is kinda the only one sponsoring herself.
Please what can be done?

P.S - if you own a office/business in Ibadan, and you have a vacancy or need a basic Secretariat around eleyele/Dugbe/Roundabout/Iwo road axis, I would appreciate your help in getting a job just in case. Thank you

Today is a sad night for the department of international relations when they heard that Grace a fresh graduate of the department of International Relations lost her life in the Ferry Mishap that happened in Lagos today.

Grace reportedly worked with her mum who supplied food to people on the island. She and her mum were passengers on the Ferry when the unfortunate fatal accident happened. While her mum survived, this beautiful lady gave in to the cold hands of death.

From my personal experience with her, Grace in her lifetime was a sweet, gentle, cool and calm lady. She was also dedicated and committed to her books. It is a pity and a saddening affair. We can only pray that her soul rest in peace and God give her family the fortitude to bear the loss.
