nairalife2013:That still did not justify that barbaric treatment of the lady and her interest. There are more sane way this could have been done. This power that be should not turn Nigeria into an Animal kingdom where privilege has no accountability. Our beloved governor do not realise that Nigerians never forgive "your bad". 50 years from today they will continue to mension this to his miscredit. |
Realret70:What goes around comes around, if this is how you want our civilised society to be then very soon you will be a partaker of this kind of treatment. There are better way the governor's convoy would have handled this. Their reactions if true really shows they don't care about Nigerian's reaction. They feel they are some kind of gods! So sad. |
The soup of the woman you call a witch can never taste good whatever she used in cooking it. Hatred can never make you see anything good in the hated. Assessment score of GEJ performance in office depends on whether you like him or hate him even if he construct the road in your room and fix any infrastructure you can imagine, once you don't like him he will be a complete failure in your eyes. This they did to GEJ and Nigerians have already started with PMB. In Nigeria it is not about performance but how much you are liked. We will move forward as a nation when we start to objectively hold our leaders responsible for performance. |
I wish this is sustenable because I don't think it is, in few months time the body movement conspiracy will no longer work. What we need Mr President to immediately do is see how to sustain what we are enjoying now. There is current increased in generation now matched with decreased demand because of the cold weather. Soonest this demand will increase and if there is no commensurate increase in power, we will be back to our old condition. The President has started well but we need to continue to constructively demand performance from him in this sector. His body movement may do something but ultimate performance will come from a sustained positive action. |
I sold my car and allowed the broker to drive the car with the new number plate to the destination of the buyer from my place in Lagos. I have for over 2 months requested that my number plates should be returned but that has not been successful. The last time I spoke with the broker, he told me the car has been sold to a buyer in the East. I need an advice on what to do since I don't think the new number plates will ever be returned to me. |
Is the current stable power supply sustainable? I really wish everything should be done right NOW to make it so because I don't think it is sustainable. I have begining to notice some fatique in the power supply,...there is no power as I am typing this. I can not wait to have a power minister to immediately begin work on the power sustainability. |
Nothing has changed, if M Ogar was doing the bid of GEJ, L Daura is seen to be doing the bid of PMB. When another administration comes on board the anomaly continues. If PMB is seen to be vindictive and is vindictive, then he cannot build the structure that will put an end to this. When he is gone we will just start all over again, so sad! |
Somebody apologies for his error and some people cannot see any dignity in this act. This is why so many Nairalanders cannot keep a happy family, too proud to apologise when wrong and too full of hatred to see reasons in apology. These people need to see TB Joshua for deliverance! |
In Nigeria politics, once you or your loved ones are not the one on the throne every other persons there are witches and wizards and if you manage to dislodge another person that one automatically becomes a criminal by all standards...PDP and APC are same in this one. |
I thought people said EFCC only just started working now that the new Sherriff is in town. If this is true then the recovered trillions is imaginary. |
Positiveminds:This is what social media has done to people. I can't understand how you can use that kind of language on somebody older than you not to even mension the President because you think you can not be made accountable. |
korrej:I completely agree. Although time is tickling fast! |
Pluslargent:Do you have facts and figures to back up this claims or cabals and generator importers or is just the usual speculative proposition that runs on the pages of our newspapers? I will rather recommend PMB building a structure or system that will sustain power generation and distribution. If we have this all the claim of cabals and generator importer things really don, t hold. |
centje:I think Nigerians are the people with shortest memory in the world. They always forget so soon. This is not the first time we are experiencing this kind of improvement in power and the annoying part of it is all this unreasonable reasons of body movement. Things will soon go back to their old bad ways except PMB immediately start firing things up from where GEJ stopped. Hate it or like it, but that is the truth. |
Yeske2:Are you sure about this because the last time I checked some governors were fighting this woman over distributing what she wanted saved for the hard times. |
Iluv:very correct. |
I believe Fayose is right about this one. |
agarawu23:Bros easy. Some people de complain say the man no de do anything, say na talk talk him de do, now his is showing what he is doing and we are still complaining, easy bros. |
superstar1:I agree with you sir. But we must change our constitution about federal character if this will be sellable. |
An average Nigerian is a very emotional person, they are not deep thinkers. They only see good in you if they like you but will never see anything nice about you once they dislike you even if you were an angel. PMB will perform, do his lot and somebody else will take it from there. No one President can solve the whole problem Nigeria. He will surely do something but haters will never see anything good in him. Just like the hatred many have for GEJ will never make them see anything good in his administration. If not, how can somebody say it is body movement that is making power constant now when the present administration has not even spent a kobo on power. GEJ and Obasanjo did their lot on power and that is what we are seeing now. I believe PMB will take it from there. Hatred is worst than blindness! avoid it. |
Very good package. Keep it up, you never can tell where this will take you. I see you going places with this. |
It is all a question of time. For both the accusers and the accused, time will tell who is right. |
How many APC members were in the last GEJ administration? I believe PMB can only concern himself with the aledged corruption at the federal level. |
Gbawe:Yes we know the truth that we are now enjoying some steady power supply and that could not have happened overnight, somebody worked for it! |
dayo23:This was exactly the way those against GEJ were behaving during his tenure whenever Boko Haram attacked. Right inside them then they wish the attack could continued so they could have a point. Rather than support the leadership in power to succeed, what we are always busy about is how we are right about Buhari or GEJ. We will always deserve whatever we get in Nigeria! |
If you really want this country to move forward, start by building strong institutions where stealing and corruption will be difficult to indulge in in the first place. You may arrest all the corrupt government officials, seize their assets and put them in jail; that will not solve our problem because shortly thereafter you will still need to do the same thing again. My recommendation is TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL AWAY FROM A THEIF AND THE SOCIETY WILL BE AT PEACE. We need good structures on ground to stop corruption! Currently Nigeria do not have that capacity. |
Them say naa PMB body language and intergrity de make us get power supply now, sai! the last time I checked, that intergrity and body language have not stopped the massive corruption in Nigeria police force, we still de see their anomalies everyday for street. Body language does will not solve Nigeria problems, what we need is strong institutions and adequate structure on the ground. God bless PMB, help him to succeed. God bless Nigeria. |
debo07:that is definitely a robot handwork , not humans, waoooo |
But why do the police authority always have to wait until somebody dies before dealing with these kind of horrible officers; before an officer can go to this length he must have started from some form of harrassment of people! Officers trampling on people's right should be dealt with before they get out of hands. |
Olaolufred:In other words, even if he stole anything it is okay since he belongs to the group I have soft spot for. |
And to say this is the same man so many poeple in Nigeria are so angry about, getting so mad like they are going to develop high BP... probe him!, jail him! he must account for olumo rock! he has emptied the bar beach!... and yet the man is just enjoying himself everywhere you can imagine, wao. I think Nigerians should just learn to take things easy on themselves... things are not always the way you see them on the pages of the newspapers, even in Nairaland! |
janus05:Sir, that is an uncouth statement. If you have the opportunity to stand face to face with Mr. President, can you call him those names? If you don't agree with his person and procedures please be civil about it! |
