Toluway:I hope other browsers work. If not, you might have to use another gadget for this purpose. I think the Galaxy Note 2 is not compatible with 'Adobe Flash Player' which I think the platform requires. I stand to be corrected as I am not an IT person. |
tenry:If you are a newbies like me, don't invest on Stocks now except you have a long term view. |

Acidosis: If I were you; I will kill the man on spot. This is the kind of advice you get when people who are suppose to ensure justice is done becomes glaringly irresponsible. |

passwelle: Sir, Access closed at 9.80 todayThanks boss |
passwelle: For what its worth, just before the market closed today, some units of Access Bank shares traded well above the days average price.Bless you boss. In other words, some people are helping the stock price rather than let the market naturally do its job. Could this be the market makers or just some 'well wishers'? Anyway, I llkeep my eyes wide open! |
passwelle: Access shawhat is the explanation for this kind of trade, please biko, explain. |
Aks: .I do have an account with Morgan. What I only see is the market trades; market orders is usually blank. |
Aks: @all, FTNCOCOA that was selling for N0.66 in the morning now fully on offer (25M+ UNITS) @ N0.60 - N0.66. Monkey Huntinghow can one monitor real time the offer/bid status on the NSE |
Access bank seems to be looking upward |
Agbalowomeri: Monkey hunters....meaning? |
What is responsible for the +ve performance of FIDSON on the trading floor yersterday? |
Aks: This is the right time for positioning in the NSE market.I agree with you sir. Food eaten by the bulls was unwittingly prepared by the bears. Although that takes some real investment courage and patience. |
mkwayisi: IMO, the hottest stock for short-term investment is PREMBREW. Since August 8, it has consistently risen from #0.77 to 1.65 (105.19% increase), within just 17 days!! Of course, you should know when the chips are set to come downI am very wary of Prembrew. The volume viz-a-viz the number of deals moving that stock scares me away from it! |
@Moneysage God bless you real good |

bigass: I am currently out of Stockmarket. Planning to go into beans and palm oil business.Palm oil business also has lots of risk attached to it, you must really know what you are doing to do well in the business. The business could be very very profitable though. |
BnsitL, it is like there are unending things to learn on the stock exchange. I observe that the closing price of some stocks are different from their opening price the next day. Is this observation right and why is this so? |
this is why i never like the idea of transferring shares from one stock broker to the other; they will just make life miserable for you. one month is a lot of time in investment kwaa! |
dont8: Why are most of our Military Officers so aggressive nowadays, it's a cause for concern for the authorities. They are so aggressive because they have an overrated feelings of themselves; they believe they are some kind of gods and ''thinks nothing de happen'' |
how long does it take for Morgan Capital to open an account for a customer because I have scanned to them all the documents they required since July 25 and up till now they have not responded despite repeated reminders to them? |
[quote author=dagr8][color=#000099][font=tempus sans itc][size=12pt] Brothers 'n' Sisters In The Lord really funny! |
Elai147: I am not sure if 'short' is practiced in Nigeria. But going short actually means you are borrowing the stock from your broker and selling it immediate with the hope that it will fall in price and then you can buy back the same share at a cheaper price and give it back to your broker.Thank you so much, boss |
jamace: How market, my bnsitl? What is the meaning of this bnsitl? |
Dear all, somebody should kindly explain the meaning of the two statements below to me: ''we would recommend that you go for short at current market price (CMP) of N49 for the target of N46 and N44 with stop-loss of N52'' and ''we would recommend for traders and investors to go for long at N 1.13 and book profit at N1.25 and N1.33; with the stop-loss of N1.05.'' |
My stockbroker mistakenly bought 24,000 units of Oando for me today at N28 per share. My instruction to him was to buy about 7, 000 units at that price. This will bring my total Oando holdings to about 50,000 units and that amounts to over 70% of shares in my portfolio. I am a bit scare of keeping this much value of a single stock. Should I keep them or order the broker to dispose off the excess at his own cost? |
SKYQUEST: Kudos to you all. Kindly help clarify me on this: Since the closure date of ABC Transport is 11th – 15th August 2014, will one be entitled to the dividend and bonus declared if he owns the share as at 11th of August but sells the share before 15th of August? Yem0350: It is the qualification date that will determine if your entitle to it or notThanks boss. Will the qualification date falls within the announced closure date of "11th – 15th August 2014", how do I get to know the specific date of qualification? |
