I agree with you that PMB and indeed Nigerians must demand performance from the service Chief, I also agree that we should give Mr. President some time. I am not however comfortable with giving a deadline on defeat of terrorist. What happens if in the first week of January BH manage to launch a devastating attack, it becomes a psychological victory for them and those sympathetic to their course. Even an average Nigerian will just make a mockery of all the laudable effort of the military. The argument will be they couldn't end terrorism in December as they promised. With the sustained effort by the military we will defeat BH but lets not give them any reason to claim a victory.

No body forced the woman to collect the loan. Again, she accepted their terms and conditions with the surety before she was given the loan. Why then did she bleached the contract because agreement is an agreement. When she was collecting the money, nairaland did not know when it was time to pay you defaulted them and starts making noise. What stopped her from paying the agreed amount/loan as at when due. After all, nobody forced u to collect the loan, u collected it with an open eye. Go and settle with them.

Remember that sometimes you run into more problems trying to enforce an agreement. I can assure you that by the time lawyers begin with the interpretation of the law and highlight breach of expected recovery processes, this bank will wish it never existed. The law usually have more softspot for the borrowers.

Do you sincerely believe BH will be wiped out in December? To give a deadline on terrorism is a mistake. I believe JEG was right when he said Nigeria terrorism would pass with time. What you just need yo do is keep up the fire on the enemy and they will be defeated with time. Judges are not the problem of Nigeria. If we have good laws where there are no loopholes to be taken advantage of, the legal system will be better for it. We simply do not have that structure and until we do, we will be wasting our time on senseless arguements. A man armed with a small knive who robbed another person of a N2000 phone may spend the rest of his life in jail because that is armed robbery and it carries a capital punishment. On the other hand the politician who stole N50 billion may end up getting 2 years in prison because of what the law says about his crime. Rather than looking at the legal system critically in the light of these 2 scenerous and advising Nigerians, newspaper reports will mislead the public about the sentences and ignorant Nigerians, emotional as usual will lambast the Judge and say things they don't know about. Bottom line, PMB should help build a good legal system that will easily get corrupt officials of to prison. I have some reservation about the move on the judges because even if you put an angel there he will only give his sentence based on evidence before him and how Counsels are able to argue there cases using the lophooles in the law to their advantage. No right thinking Judge will sentence anybody to jail because the public THINKS he should go to jail!
