Education / Re: ASUU Rejects 35% Salary Increase For Professors; Wants 100% by SKYQUEST(m): 8:08pm On Sep 09, 2022 |
Nigerians please keep dreaming. You want quality University education and people going there wants to pay peanuts because government should fund it? If you want world class Universities in Nigeria, it will not be government that will fund it, take it or leave it. Basic universal education: Primary and Secondary is what the government has the responsibility to make compulsory and available to every Nigerians. That is where the majority of education funding should be going. You want Nigeria Oxford or Cambridge, students sponsors should pay for it. That is why these two schools and others in its categories are world class. ASUU will continue to go on strike because government cannot fund the Universities to world class, it is not possible except every other things will shut down! |
Romance / Re: She Cheated With A Married Man Now This. Please Advice. by SKYQUEST(m): 4:13pm On Aug 09, 2022 |
cowboyvs: if you put her away, nobody will blame you because infidelity is a very grievous consideration which no man will excuse. However, you need to think twice about putting her away. One, you thinks she does not give you headache, she is respectful and she is non demanding. When you eventually get married to a woman and she lacks these three, then you will REALLY UNDERSTAND the true meaning of a woman giving you peace of mind. Two, I believe at her age of 22, a number of women are in the exuberance of youthful exploration and they will make plenty of mistakes. Fast forward to a more advance age when their head cools down, they will not be able to imagine that they did so many such horrible things. I see a good woman in that girl despite her behaviors. The most important factor you should consider is not her infidelity while courting her but the fact that if it possible for you to live with her without giving a thought to her past misdemeanors. If you cannot please walk away right now because that mindset will determine how much good your marriage to her will be. Once again, a woman who will respect you and give you peace of mind in your marriage is priceless, I hope you will find one, 1 Like |
Business / Re: Share Your Experience As A POS Vendor by SKYQUEST(m): 1:10am On Jun 11, 2021 |
I once made a transfer of N100,000 to a customer using a POS. It appeared to have failed so I did another one. Fast forward to balancing my account at the end of the day, account "no gree" balance with huge difference. I checked and discovered two successful transfers of N100,000 to the same account. Following morning, I located the customer who came to make the transfer and the beneficiary was contacted. The beneficiary bluntly denied he had two N100,000 transfers in his account. We appealed to him to go to his bank to confirm the second transfer. Third day came, he claimed to have gone to his bank and insisted he has just one transfer of the transfers. Consequently, I then used my contact in his bank to check his account and behold it was confirmed he had the two N100,000 transfers in his account. With this information, we confronted him headlong and within 30 minutes "ogbeni" wired N100,000 back into my account. POS business, "plenty profit, plenty risk!". 16 Likes 1 Share |

You mean these people got into Nigerian police custody and got released without even paying the minimum N20,000 bail money to SARS, when some even pay over N100,000 to get their bail. I used UBA offsite ATM on April 14, with my Sterling bank ATM card to make =N=10,000 withdrawal for which I was debited and no cash dispensed. Twice I have filled the Sterling bank Dispute form on their mobile app, twice I have spoken to one of the bank staff on the issue, but till date, June 1, no positive response or reversal into my bank. Everybody now use lockdown as excuse for bad service. 1 Like |

If you try to read the file with the read_csv( ) function, an error will be thrown because the file is not a comma seperated values (csv) file. Try run the under listed code on the file: import pandas as pd from pandas import DataFrame df = pd.read_excel('split.xlsx',names=['Benf']) #seperate each of the column elements into different list a = df.Benf.str.split().str[0].tolist() b = df.Benf.str.split().str[1].tolist() c = df.Benf.str.split().str[2].tolist() d = df.Benf.str.split().str[3].tolist() df=pd.DataFrame() #create an empty dataframe df['First Digit']=a #add the first column to the dataframe and name it First Digit df["Benford's Set"]=b df['Data Set X']=c df['Deviations']=d df You will come up with an excel file that looks like this: 1 Like

Crime / Re: Lagos Bricklayer Spends Six Years In Prison For Phantom Robbery by SKYQUEST(m): 9:56pm On May 06, 2020 |
Worst atrocities than this case has happened and still happens because there is no system in place that will punish this kind of police officers; if my dear President or Lagos state governor reads this story, they will probably just wave it off as the usual thing; business as usual. But if I were in that position, every officer in that police station and every Nigerian who has a hand in this national embarrassment, will not only get sacked and loose all his entitlements, I will make sure they all go to very long prison according to the dictates of the law. But who I'm I, and this is Nigeria where nothing really work while they are busy fighting corruption. 3 Likes 1 Share |
