This clearly shows that the present leaders (old men in the helm since 1960s) are truly obsolete and outdate OS. if the younger men were in the helm, there might be hope. Anyways, i dont see any ray of hope in The Future Of this restructure Plan (with El rufai As Head) So Division remains the best option. I Stand To Be Corrected |

komekn: People are a product of thier environment.
From the inception of civilian rule in Delta state it has been ruled by criminal elements. I watched as the former garage boys became king makers.
Illiterates thugs and political henchmen who have bought qualifications through the backdoor to give themselves credibility. Are the ones determining the direction of the state.
The convicted criminal Ibori has succeeded in setting up a dynasty. imposing his first cousin as governor and now his best mate Okonwa. Without doubt Uduaghan never ever won any election in Delta state, indeed Ibori only won his first term election. After that every other election has been rigged. The people are disenfranchised they are forced to accept the status quo.
After admitting guilt to multiple corruption charges in a competent London court, he Ibori has been welcomed and rewarded with a chieftancy title, a state banquet and multiple i rem dat., thunda fire monday igbuya |

ovoP: it doesn't contribute at all cos they will evade tax. i just pray 4 a leader with a vision. Truth is, u wont see one if the age range is above 40 and upward.. i would be planning a movement (in the nearest future) to enlighten the youths not to give in to the wiles of these leaders and their outdated lifestyle, and maybe work ways to see that younger men and women gets top positions in governments so as to implement and install what the youth need, i think only the youths of our time realy understand what this youths of our time realy need and want. |

He is a true example of Niger delta youth mentality I agree @ bolded, and truth be told GEJ was a failure (although to me not as failed as this present one) but the truth is even before GEJ, the south has been behind. |

these old useless leaders should hav been building factories in large mass in various L.G.A and communities in factors that generate income 4 D state and employment 4 D youths. like agricultural factories,, i.e palm product factories,(palm oil, palm kernel oil, raw materials 4 soap making etc) factories on cassava products(garri, cassava flour, cassava starch etc) rubber factories, and factories on cash and eatable agric products and factories that produce raw materials 4rm these products so they can be exported., build steel factories, and build refineries, and get lincence 4rm FG to legalise and improve illegal and local refineries to modern and safe standard. if there are 2 or 3 big factories in each community it would reduce unemployment in the long run., but these idiots wil rather buy keke 4 the young men, and sewing/hairdressing machine 4 the ladies and say i empowered the youths. if al the young men drive keke, who wil pay 2 take keke? or if al the young ladies sew/hairdressing who wil pay 2 sew/plait? |

thereby makin the youth lead a hard life, that result into cultistism, prostituition, millitancy etc despite this, there ar literates too bt they are affected too, so therefore, the major problem are the leaders both state, local, traditional rulers etc. the number 1 thing they do is how to create new office(avenue) to embezel cash meant 4 development.. they would stock themselves up with it and invest them far off(like uduaghans hospital in china, and ibori refinery in S.A or tompolos university dahomey) imagine if these organizations are here in the state, that would be employment 4 some jobless youth. and then they use the illiterate and jobless youths to do their biding. as 4 the ones that invest in the state, they only builds hotels (employin the young men as secuirities and the ladies as prostituites) and expensive shoping malls (that youths spend their last dime on their highly priced contents like memories owned by ben ibakpa) and i dnt thnk these contribute much to the states gdp. |

This is my state, this is my birthplace, both my dad and mum are 4rm this state. it pains me 2, infact seeing Uduaghan (a chronic theif) stil free, and Ibori (worshiped Like A Demi God despite he invested the state money in other count3s instead of investin in the state) I feel sorry 4 the youths of our time.. The major problem with the youths is illiteracy,(the child desist 4rm education) and poor parental upbringing ( i dnt care, even when education was almost free then) |
