interesting... The last time i did such. The 3rd time on ogudu road, same guy, same time. But not intentional . The 3rd time i got flat tire on eko bridge. I realized my mechanic didn't return my jack Had to request another uber for him. Go look for jack....

I just picked and dropped a rider i have carried before. This is about the 4th time its happening to me with different riders. Who has experienced this that much.?

yea. Yesterday i picked 3 masons abi na bricklayers(with Cement dusts all over them lol) from Parkview estate to oniru. Their supervisor actually requested the ride for them. They were so excited about everything, especially how the navigation/map works. More people are getting informed

only one request on my taxify app today. N600. But uber request has been back to back, traffic didn't allow me flow. i manage to get 13k and 1500 offline trip. Unlike yesterday back to back requests on taxify and few from uber.

Yes you are totally right, yesterday I carried a rider from magodo and we headed to ikate, during the trip I noticed she was frowning and mute, I told her if she like she can play music with her phone if she doesn’t like the station sound city fm, also I offered her mentos original gum I usually buy at shoprite, she rejected and said she just want to get to her destination that’s what she’s concerned about, so I said okey and continued my trip without a word again, on getting to ikoyi bridge she said I should turn back and take her back to magodo, it’s like what she was going for has been canceled, she frowned more and grumbled that now she’s wasting money up and down. We got to Magodo I ended the trip and showed her the fare, she said ok and wanted to leave my car without paying me, I called her back and told her it was a cash, she said no it’s card so I showed her from my phone, so she couldn’t argue than to give me the cash, she did a transfer to me I thanked her, she didn’t even respond, so I left, few minutes later I checked my rating it dropped immediately. she’s putting her bad day on me. Before some will come Nd say shit, my car is very very neat and sound without any sound, also I have 3 different air fresheners and my ac it’s as cold as a freezer, I use Honda and it’s a personal car so I don’t joke with it.

my first car was 2008 city... Hmm. One funny thing about it: you cant see the bonnet from inside even if you stretch your neck like a giraffe. That car gave me uber rating 3.30... Had serious suspension problems ehn.. Causes roaring noise on interlocked roads and speed bumps. I didn't know a bad car = bad ratings. Partner said i should keep driving after some weeks we will fix. Then uber kicked me out. 1 week later i got back in. Then i said oga: this car could be giving me bad rating o. He was just looking at me like i was speaking in tongue. Ok lets fix it he said. Cost=over 40k.
Na house i dey dem carry chacha corolla sport com give me. Now, 2 on my uber/taxify profile. Hallelujah

My second rider today was like: wait lemme rate u well before i get down. 5 star+ excellent service badge. Funnily i didn't even like him when he entered the car at first, plus i wasn't ok with the card trip that early hour. He got my 5star too. Lol

You’re right my brother, you can imagine a rider can see ur face when they make a request, while the driver can’t see there face until they get to them. Riders should make a proper registration like driver/partners

Funny day. Picked a rider from unilag area and she asked if we could do a round trip. I said fine, if your stops don't exceed 5mins. Akoka to surulere, then gbagada, then Akoka. No boost, no surge. Hot afternoon. At the end, as we approached Akoka through bariga market,she wanted at least 5 more stops within that axis. Wtf! She got 3 and the last 2 she didn't get must have spoiled the day. Stopped to buy potatoes, stopped to use the atm, stopped at chicken republic... Then i told her uber will end the trip in a few minutes lol. I ended the trip before she got out. Cos she would stop to buy oat and then stop to buy beans. This time around she had too many things she couldn't carry alone. I got tired of her fine face and nice stories. Discharged her and left.

I suffered that too. My early days on uber... Dropped a rider and was checking the network strength. A guy just opened the door, sat in front and asked if i work with aero, for me parking around their gate. I was trying to say something.... He immediately pulled out my keys from the ignition.... That day wasn't funny. My partner paid the 10k and told me not to bother paying back....
Now i don't even wait a second after drop off. I rather drive around if i get a request till the rider is ready and out. Shine your eyes guys
(The kind of mind i have now ehn.... If it happened today, i will drive the guy out of the airport... I know where to drive him to. That's if he didn't beg to come down half way)

they even met me and some drivers on Billings way where we chill. Preached, took pictures and registered me(us). And kept sending sms to me to always put on the app, that they are doing massive awareness to get riders blah blah blah.... Ok i put it on one day while on trip on uber, then a request came in. I accepted but didn't remember.... Later i checked, couldn't find the trip history. The app is sleek but not detailed. I hope they survive

when cancelation fee was 1000 i use to enjoy cases like this. At times i will call rider and ask if he requested, if he says no and pick up is less than 3km,will drive down wait for the 5mins then cancel.
