If taxify ride comes I quickly accept and text the uber rider the above message and head straight to pick the taxify rider. Uber company should know Nigerian roads are bad. GAZZUZZ: experience is the best teacher. I nod a few times when I am tired, but after the first one, I look around for small shop to get something to keep my mouth moving (chewing gum, bitter kola) always keep some water in the boot it comes in handy, park and wash your face, it could buy you 15-30mins of wake time, but. Ultimately find a safe place to sleep.
even if i make sure i sleep well from 10pm at least. After working till like 2-4pm...sometimes i feel i need a rest or feel sleepy. What i do if i am on a trip, i bring out my orbit gum(didn't buy it cos of any rider) , chew till drop off. If no rider i just pull over somewhere cool hide my phones... Take a nap.... 30mins i get better... |

Haderbayor123: Nobody says Uber/taxify drivers should not flex or enjoy their money but that should be after making the partners money which should be the priority. There are some drivers that will carry island aristols and club on the island and yet, they are still owning their partners that invest millions of naira on them, that's madness. Some will make money on weekdays and spend it all and waiting for Monday and Tuesday to hustle partners money and that will cause overworking yourself and the car.
One driver once told me that he wants to lie to his partner that he's sick and couldn't work for a week and he will use the money for that week to stock his wife's shop, I told him that he should not forget that the partner also has wife that he might want to stock her shop too. I later heard the partner collected his car sharply lol chai |

Emekayoung: Exactly my point. A taxify/Uber driver was involved in an accident last night at about 11pm,I stopped immediately I saw the incident,I asked him what happened, because the car was under a trailer. One of those trailers that carry container of goods. He said Bros na sleep carry me o. Then I asked why didnt u notice the sleep and give yourself a rest? He said its because he owes the owner of the car 10k and the woman is on his neck, and she even told him to pay up this morning which is Saturday,if not she would retrieve the car from him. Now tell me wats her again at last? Did she get the 10k? The car is gone and the 10k is gone. My point is,this e-hailing business is no longer as It was b4 because they have slashed the fares and there are lots of drivers on the platform. So be mindful of the weekly pay u dictate to ur drivers.. i will keep saying i don't joke with my sleep. |

BetaThings: Please I wish to clarify this Does Uber or taxify allow a driver to show up with a car different from the one registered and displayed on the app eg a car with different registration number and/or a different type of car
If that happens what should the rider who made the booking do? do not enter. Cancel and request another |

Haderbayor123: We all should be careful while driving in traffic at night, something happened to me last night and feel like sharing it here, I was at Abiola garden heading to toll gate and there is always a little traffic around there at night, someone started beating my trunk that something is coming out from my silencer, i did not answer cos I sensed there is danger and I immediately wind up my 2 front window cos I wound down since am going home, before I know it, someone else was already by my passenger's side and used his hand to stop the rolling window from outside, took my phone and disappear(mind you, I did not hang my phone). I was like ooh, this dream should better stop now cos it can never be real cos all this happened between 2-3seconds. I couldn't stop my car to look out for them, and other cars around me was just going as if nothing has happened, some was even shouting and honking at me to leave the road and in my mind, I was like "YOU'LL ARE MAD, AIN'T HERE WHEN SOMEONE STOLE MY PHONE"
So let's all be careful whenever in traffic, don't hang your phone even when you wind up, and keep your phone at where they can't easily get it.
Seems the best way to go now is to do theft and burglary insurance since taxify cover is useless while you are not on trip. Am i the only one who doesn't hang his phone? Day or night. I even have two great phone holders(foreign). Unless i tell u i am uber/taxify.... Okay read this stories.... 1. After about 2 months on uber, i picked this hot babe at agungi, going to Maryland mall. 9pm. She was so excited, she would put the music to the loudest and was screaming loud... "i am enjoying the speed" while on 3rd mb... On getting to gbagada express, she started pressing her iPhone 6+. At Anthony exit now. Me i was still learning the roads then. Instead of me to use the 1st exit to enter ikorodu road and face Maryland... I missed it and was going down through the 2nd exit that leads to fadeyi/surulere. As we were descending, at abt 40km/h. One guy just appeared from nowhere opened the door (which was on automatic central lock) and started dragging the iPhone with the babe... She screemed and i look to my right and saw what was going on... The only option i had was to hit the gas pedal and speed up. Brethren! All i could hear was revving sound of the engine. Car wouldn't sprint... As if the guy was holding the car and simultaneously dragging the phone... All these happened within 7-10 seconds. He went away with the phone.... Magical.... The story long. Police appeared, they searched around couldn't find him. Na her boyfriend come pick her later.... How he opened that door still baffled me till date as other doors were still locked when we stopped to get down.... I reported to uber immediately, don't know if they contacted her to pay for her 200k+ phone.... 2. Was in a mad traffic at volks, ojo. Heading to family house to have the next day as rest day. AC on, windows up.... Very mad traffic that moves 5meters every 5mins. Around 10:40pm... I received a call or 2 sha with my newly imported phone. Oboy! Before i knew what's up... I heard a loud smash on the glass, driver's side. A gun on my head.... "gimme the phone, gimme the money" Without hesitation i gave them the phone, i said i didn't have money.... They left and attacked the car beside me immediately... In a confusion state, i rammed on the trailer in front of me.... The next day at the panel beater shop they found a big round brown stone under the driver's seat. How it didn't hit my head or leg when they smashed the car with it was the miracle... Wind up windows or not. Hang phone or not.... Anything nite waka is dangerous The night is dark and full of terrors May God protect us all. Amen |

Chuwaa: Go to VIO at new garage bariga in the morning and head straight to their FRSC office and do that,....documentation and capture. 5yrs 15k, 3yrs 10k YOU'LL receive the temp card same day.
Alternatively go to VIO office Berger, same amounts, but the agents at the gate will highjacl you and sort you out. Process high is kinda weird because the compound is large and you can't on your own know where to proceed from. VIO will give you a 10 question obj exam too. Always go early in the morning and you'll go with your temp card after capture. dem no know.... Same way u do ur international passport express delivery, same way driver's license has express too... Whether 2018 or 208 BC |

YOU: He is my driver he came to pick me
Airport guys: Okay oya driver call d man now make we see... possibly he could have your number or sontin they will go further to see the call log! This guys have structured positioned from arrival all d way to where d car parked most times they even monitor drop offs and know what d driver is planning on doing, they even use their Apps to request to get driver phone number and car details. Those guys have pictures of a whole lot of cars and are monitored under their radar steady!! hian! Bad belle |
