Abi. Me no experience guarantor matter. 1st car, partner {stranger} just came to my house, had a friendly chat with my aunt he met. Took him to a bar had drinks and work started. Current car, partner(in my neighborhood) said he would bring the papers to sign. I should bring guarantors... Oya i am ready. He didn't talk about it again.
He just dropped keys with me, till now.
Car is healthy. Remittance: no stories.

Na so people start to cancel request o, I log out log in close app, device maintenance, story.

I run comot where I dey time don dey approach 7:30, Na so trip enter o, from the place adeniran ogunsanya to ShopRite same street ₦400. But the value of that trip Na ₦4,000.

On a more serious note, taxify needs to do something about this cancellation, as I was typing this 2 more cancellations, that makes 6 within 2 hrs.

Called rider and she was like : one driver just called few minutes ago that he was coming (on taxify? Huh) ok i ask what name was displaying on her app. Stanley. Ok then i am ur official driver.... Trip fare from fola agoro to Lekky County was #3400. He gave me #3500 and asked for #100 change. I told him I didn't have #100; but I have #200, so does he have #100 let me give him the #200. He said no.

I had to transfer #100 to him from my account, at the cost of #52.50.

My CRAZIEST taxify experience....
Picked 2 talkative girls at Radio Nigeria ikoyi, Destination: platinum way lekki.
One has 1% battery life, the other has 3%...
They asked for my usb cord to charge... I said to them i can spare just one cord, as my phone was on 20% too.
The one with 1% battery said she needed it more cos she would transfer my payment at the end of the trip. The other one cried; no dont worry, dont just press ur phone. I need to chat with this guy, he promised to be giving me alerts but its not regular bla bla bla... I need to plug it while i chat....

They argued. They agreed.
The one with 3% got the cord, sat at the front, the other one layed down flat at the back seat and dozed off....
Oh no! This one was receiving calls, bragging about hair price, last alert and next club night. Ok
We got to platinum way, the moment we entered the hotel gate, a request came in. Next rider was in the same hotel. Cool
Next rider called.
"i am at the hotel car park now, u can start coming down" i replied.

Now i ended the current trip, fare was 2300.
We should be done before next rider gets here... For where? Na there wahala start.
The girl wit 1% battery woke up, picked up her phone to do the transfer: phone has died oo!
Quarrel start: "i told u i needed to charge this phone... U see now, how are we gonna do it"....
"U should have asked for the charger on the way but u were sleeping all through".. Bla bla bla

Me: ok, let plug ur phone so it will come up.( A healthy phone should be up in 2 mins max) Phone wouldn't come up.... We waited 2 mins, 3mins 5mins. (this must be the kind of phone u will plug and forget it there when it dies; i thought) Meanwhile the one at the front asked for my acc details and transfered 300. Remaining 2k now. Phone still wouldn't come up

7th minutes! i raised my head, at the other side; a dark slim beautiful chick was standing there. Flat tommy(exposed). Her belly button was on same level with my eyes... I stared for like 5 secs before i realized she was the next rider.
The look on her face: what's happening? Two girls in her taxify already. Huh!

I quickly got out, explained the situation to her and asked her to give us 2 minutes. She agreed.
Got in the car and asked them; is the phone up?

Ok, i have another rider and that's her waiting. You guys should pay me quickly, cash or so...

I rushed out again, told her the idea. She agreed. And so i wont start the trip yet.
4 of us in the car now. Nearest ATM was 300m. Oh cool. like 10 guys on the queue. Two machines dispensing. This will be fast i thought.

Both girls ran out leaving their bags to join the queue. At this point, they were so uncomfortable and ashamed.
While we wait.... The beautiful rider said to me: i wonder why 2 big girls will go out without having cash. We chat. Laughed. Waited

5mins. 7mins. Queue was slow. Guys doing multiple withdrawals. In my mind i estimated 15 to 20min before their turn.
Rider: oh no! I can't wait anymore, please call them. They shuld com pick their bags i will pay the 2k.
Me: these girls might feel embarrassed and disagree o.
Rider: lets try
One of them was like: are you sure? U really want to pay the fare?
With more shame in their eyes. They picked their stuffs, looking cheap and ordinary this time around. And left without a thank you....

from Ogudu, i dropped my first rider at us embassy, Walter Carrington cres. Saw the surge in lekki through ajah both uber and taxify, deep reds... Ok. Was driving to catch up using alternative routes, request entered 1.5 boost(no i dont want this now, i want that surge. 1.8 minimum) ok i prayed in my heart: let the destination be towards ajah. I don't ask for destination during the day. Picked up rider, destination : back to the wings complex ozumba mbadiwe. Chai. Ok lemme quickly drop her, will still catch up with the surge. Returning to lekki now, another request entered. From ikoyi 1.4 boost. 2.5km to pick up. . I prayed same prayer again. God it has to be lekki o! Destination: CMS cathedral. Chai.... I weak... I watch the surge disappeared gradually

Ikoyi - drive off Gerard road into any side street or drive into dolphin estate phase 1 or park view estate; Obalende - drive to keffi street, around the prisons and look for a side street off keffi to park; Ikeja is easy, just drive to the nerdc road (in front of shrine) and move forward a bit and park (don't give the boys there money ooo) or alhaja kofoworola street ( the street Lagoon hospital is), turn the corner on the street and park; or to Emina crescent, off Toyin Street.

It is true. I decline any trip going beyond Abraham Adesanya round about towards Epe axis because the taxify app doesn't calculate the fare correctly.

I guess it has to do with the GPS mapping or something.

About 3months ago, I picked-up a female rider from “Megamound Ave” inside Lekki County Homes.

She wanted to go drop some stuffs to her younger sister who is schooling at the
Pan Atlantic University (Km 52, Lekki-Epe Expressway after Eleko Beach Junction).

The lady told me I'd have to bring her back to The Palms and that she needed to pick-up a friend inside Abraham Adesanya Estate on our way.

I began to jubilate & gyrate clandestinely because I thought the trip would fetch me atleast 12k

We kicked off & it took me close to 40minutes to even pick-up her friend inside Abraham Adesanya Estate because:

1.) The friend did not have authority or clearance to invite any guest into the Estate, so she had to wait for her grandmother to call the security at the gate to allow us in.

2.) The lady in my car did know her friend's address because it was her first time of visiting, so we had to ask around.

Eventually, we picked up the friend and the journey to Pan Atlantic University began.

Mehn! The traffic na die. It took me over an hour to locate the University and then another 1hour to drop both of them at the Palms.

I ended the trip while smiling - only for me to see 2,500Naira on the app. It was a cash trip.

I wanted to shout so people can gather & help me collect my money from the riders but then Orunmila quickly nudged me to keep quiet because I wasn't driving a yellow cab.

I drove out of the Palms & parked outside. I contemplated on the irunmole to invoke to help me burn down Taxify's office including all the drivers in training session.

Orunmila then reminded me to remember the day I picked up a rider from Mega Chicken Lekki to Igando and the fare was 13k - after which I just branched at “Funmec Joint” along Shasha Rd to eat a plate of hot pepper soup with 2 bottles Heineken around 1pm - while other drivers were still hunting for riders.

I nodded my head in affirmation like an agama lizard & then drove home!

the few times this thing happened to me lately i click fare review before finishing the trip and the actual fare comes out, by clicking on the ride history... Fah hear say i forfeit that huge cash

I hate it when this thing eludes me. Though i started at 12.20pm. With some yeye destinations. Even up to Lakwe ibeju lekki. After the 6th trip, i had 55mins to go. I called my partner, gave him my exact position so he could request me....so i could hustle for the last with 45mins at least. My guy keeps requesting, and one paul keeps getting it.(my position, with 100% activity, 4.9 star and 4GLite) Meanwhile one Timothy keep requesting and canceling on me.... It got funny at 7.40 pm when a request came in.... Destination... Gbagada from lekki phase.... Chai....

After i managed to scale thru the traffic around the event center, she canceled. I called and ask her why. Madam said: my friend is here to pick me don't worry. Chai. I just vex off the app. My plan was to get that 6th trip and get the remaining 2 by hook or crook....
Well my friday earning was close to 30k. I just said to myself: some days are like that..... Before 8.15 this morning i have done their 4 trips at lekki. We pray for more favors. Happy sunday

My rider almost made me have an accident just now. She did a stopover at TFC Opebi, so I'm doing this quick update.

I picked her up from WaterCress Hotel on Oritshe Street, Ikeja. She was with a male guy, who gave her a wad of #1,000 and #500 notes when she got into the front seat of the car.
Her destination is River Valley Estate, Berger, but she requested to do a stopover at TFC Opebi to buy salad.

On our way, she made a call.

I was like "haa!". I sha maintained and held on to my steering wheel.
I think her boyfriend must have asked her where she was

I just looked at her and smiled. She smiled in return. She dashed me 800 changed witg her heart full of joy. What a player.

2. This one is d most shocking.... Pick up was at one hotel in festac. And the boyfriend was like: bros u look cute o, pls dont snatch my girlfriend, just drive her to the destination. Ikeja.
Now we passed airport road to beat traffic.... And the girl was just unsettled. She said oga we just need to get there fast, i need to go put on the projector in the church, the service will start soon.
Me; ok ma (church girl). She sat at d front, at a point she got comfortable talking to me. The next thing i heard: i don't know y he had to give me 15k, does he think i am that cheap? I mean i dont go out for anything less than 25k blah blah blah. Hian!
I softly asked her: shebi he is ur boyfriend? Noooo he is married, he just came to Nigeria and ask me to come over. I weak.
I just stopped talking till i dropped her.

3. Picked this one at TBS, to elegushi. She asked: pls can i change my clothes?
Me: oh feel free. Bros i no fit explain things my eyes see that day. I can remember the front package vividly sha. Two weeks later, pick up a youth corp girl. And she said.... Oh i wish ur car is tinted. Me: why?
She: i need change my clothes. Ok could u pack somewhere quiet lemme just change to my uniform.
Me(not again) i just pulled over.. Got out of the car and walked away, stay till like 10min. Came back and saw her dressed in khaki and smiling sheepishly at me. She dashed me 2k on top d card trip.....
