Sit down as a noun means a rest while sitting in a chair. In this case, it is written as sit-down. Eg: I need a glass of cold water and a sit-down.

Great job. Help me with the following statements. Is it " grouse against or grouse with"? Also, why do people say 'sit down" and "kneel down"? Isn't it tantamount to tautology,eh? Pls help.
It is grouse about or grudge against. Now that I think of it, I think tautology comes into play @ the bolded. Thanks.

GEJ should also visit Otamiri Nworie and see if the level of the dredging tallies with the millions spent. He should also visit IMSU, it looks like a cemetary. I hope the students mobilize themselves and protest before him when he comes.

Burning a police station for no stated reason. Some muslims are peace-loving while others are plain silly. How many versions of the Koran are there?

Language is as relative to it's native speakers/owners as it is generally dynamic. Ipso facto, we can't say that a word is entirely wrong because it could infact be right to some of the native speakers like America, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, etc. This fact also affect the morphological processes. The dictionary does not protect these interests always, which does not also stop the speakers from using THEIR language. From what I understand, 'grassroots', 'grass-roots' and 'grass roots' are commonly used. But I prefer the second.

blackwood:
In as much as I like to think this is not true, I would be disappointed if really Mikel did something like that, cos other football player like Dider Drougba, Emmanuel Ebuoe seem to want to look for the slightest opportunity to Big up their countrys musician, we can see them dance a little african steps when they score a goal and they wear their countries colours as bands, have u seen Mikel do any of these. He should stop trying to be whiter than the white man. And he should remember say Money no dey last forever. All of us go get our own.
Mikel can't score so don't expect any African dance or something. Peter Cech will score a goal before Mikel does.

@invisible. You're also right. But what I won't write off is complicity on the part of the government.@Guyman02. The soldiers are doing a great job. They're chasing the cowards out. They've even discovered a large grave in the bush where dead and unlucky victims were buried. My prayer is for T.A. Orji to lose his second term bid. These people have no conscience.
