I don't think there was a coalition of governors that endorsed Obama.Individuals are free to endorse but not a coalition of governors.
I think you're a bit wrong. 11 and 10 governors endorsed Clinton and Obama respectively. Among the governors that endorsed Obama are: Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia, Gov. Chris Gregoire, Washington State, Gov. Anibal Acevedo-Vilá, Puerto Rico, etc. Even Mayor Adrian Fenty of Washington. There is nothing wrong in a group of governors endorsing a candidate.

^^You're right. The "Good boys" (an ironic euphemism for kidnappers in Aba) get their weapons there. The guys in Abala mould amazing weapons, they only need to see it.

Hypocritic sycophants! It's a lot easier for them to endorse GEJ than to address the over 2 months old strike in the state universities. Ndi ara !

Endorsing a candidate is declaring him a winner even before election. It is very undemocratic.Let everyone vote his or her candidate of choice.
How so? Are the SE governors INEC? And who told you it's undemocratic. Do you know how many endorsements Obama got in his time?

Politics › Re: Kidnappers Kill Medical Doctor …after Collecting N30m by slap1(m): 12:53pm On Sep 22, 2010
I'm reading my Sociology text book now and the serenity of my neighbourhood is frightening and unusual. You don't get this kind of quietness even in Xmas period. People are leaving the town. The major markets are now dry. Some families don't know where the next meal is coming from. Around 2am, I heard gunshots. This morning, we heard two people have been killed in the Gas Line area. Last night I went to watch the Tottenham vs Arsenal match in a viewing centre. On my way back I saw a car's headlights coming from a distance. . .my brother, I took cover somewhere till the car passed.
snowdrops:
Nigerians have to rise up and form vigilante groups that seek out kidnappers and their supporters and burn/bury them alive in public.
With catapult or pestle? If you hear the sound of the guns these boys carry about you'll just pack your family and hit the road. Even PHCN no dey gree come cut light again. Everybody dey fear.

I think the mod locked your thread because you just posted a link, and the other guy posted the story in full with a link. Most of those types of thread are posted to the hp, it makes it easier, when the full story with a link is posted.

i agree you have a point, but is it that big a deal who get's the credit?
I don't need a credit for copying and pasting another man's work. My grudge is that it looks like a kinda deviance on my part, which ain't good. Muki has cleared the air, anyway. Thanks.

Why would aisha2 lock this thread: I am not aware that the president has declared -- Atiku, and refer me to the same post by Mr Money £? I posted mine at 02:39:48 am, while Mr Money £ posted his at 04:39:48am, almost two hours after mine. Maybe the moderator(s) need to be reminded more often about forum rules. I've not complained of anything on this thread, so know that I was not pleased to see my thread locked. Keep up your good works.
