he is not eloquent, he seems to be thinking about his achievement on stage, his english and accent is nothing to write home about. guys this is not the president we need, neither is it ibb or atiku, our messiah to lead this country to greatness has not declared interest.
accent? U want him to mimick an accent? Well, he is not a phonetics prof.

Funny "Nigerian culture is different from the Americans". grin grin
No it is not,

First of all,Gay people have existed since hundreds of years before the bible/Romans/Egyptians and Jews.

Second,Nigerians/africans already "follow" Western culture, you are late to the game on that.
Opinion is like the smell of shyt; it shouldn't always be the same.
Politics › Re: Gay Nigerian Asylum Seeker Faces Deportation by slap1(m): 2:50pm On Sep 18, 2010
No, I really dont think it was offensive, the fact that you're still hurting from that thread has a lot to say about your personal hygiene. Set your emotions aside for that thread, becuz I would be lying to you if I say I care abt them right now.
I don't have hygiene issues. My 'attack' yesterday was a result of the acerbity of the thread. And, like you, I've also deleted it from my memory. I've got books to read, so occupying my memory with trivialities will be suicidal, to say the least.

Keep it up ,Beaf! GEJ is the man. He may not be the best but we have seen these recycled men b4, a new adventure would do us little harm.
Letz be civilized sweety. You've been following my post, making snide comment. If I retaliate, you ppl will start saying shoit again. So try to post without personally insulting me, I can do worse than you, sogbo?

Now, back to topic.
I don't have a history of insulting people on NL. However, I think you are guilty of 'over-speeding' by saying Nigeria is "hate-filled" because of her obvious stand on homosexualism. Our culture is clearly different from  the Americans. ***But talking of civility, don't you think your thread of yesterday was rather offensive?***

Well, Gabby Oil is located along Aba-Owerri Road, nothing like Aba Road in Aba. I didn't want to post anything about the town again because it was beginning to seem like I'm crying more than the bereaved; Tpiah even expressed her doubt vis à vis the veracity of the stories. The truth is shyt is hitting the fan in geometric proportion. Just yesterday, the Ariaria International Market Traders Association(AIMATA), recieved their threat letter. They are to pay N3million or risk random attacks, similar to what has been happening to the Timber Market traders. Osisikankwu(the tree that is taller the palm tree), the kidnap kingpin, now drives an SUV. T.A. Orji can't claim complete ignorance of these.

It's a pity that Glo, a Nigerian company, is treating Nigerian workers like this. Can't a few staff mobilize and sue the company? It will do some good.

exactly!!!! we all know where the precedent started and up till now the Nigerian Government will not condemn any form of violence and intimidation whether on their behalf or against them.

This is how anarchy starts.

We will all bear witness that it started with Dokpesi and nobody said anything because he was an IBB loyalist.
. . . .and because IBB is a criminal; no one takes a criminal serious these days -- especially a potential one-legged criminal.

I wonder what took GEJ's camp so long to come up with this. Dokpesi shouldn't go about talking his poo alone as if IBB is the most popular candidate. IBB is supported only by evil people like him and, unfortunately, they are an infinitesimal minority.
This is sad. Nigeria is such a hate-filled country that one has to fear returning just bcuz of his homosexual status.

Anywaz, I hope UK gives him a fair trial and sees the danger in him returning back to naija undecided
Your yesterday's thread that says African men stinks had me THINKING you're out of your mind. With this post I KNOW you are. Are you yet to hear of CULTURE? Maybe our women should also start marrying more than one man because a certain country of WHITE people do so!?

Kudos to the guy. He has sacrificed his job to improve the work conditions of his ex-colleagues. A few feathers will be ruffled, a change will surely be effected, however infinitesimal. Why would people blame the guy for going public? How else do you fight corruption? By sitting on it? Let the guy be. I wish he gets a better job.
