Quite a number of options. 1. LinkedIn : For me, i prefer applying on the company's career page directly. So after seeing the ad on Linkedln, i go the company website, view their career page and apply from there. Atleast to avoid Linkedln (man in the middle). Most times, the career page is under "About Us" or on the footer. Sometimes on its own though. 2. Here is a list of companies Hiring at least in Europe (i compiled it in 2020) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WMjwxMXcsIycNxcAfxzdiGtEcRKsRs6izIRZ-O15IbQ/edit?usp=sharing Hopefully it helps someone. NB: it is not an exhaustive list. Open the careers page, check for roles you fit in, apply directly on the career's page. 3. Be open for interviews, 4. You can even relocate to Europe based on job once you are employed. Pretty easy. 5. Recommendations from friends and Good luck 27 Likes 14 Shares |

It is good to have a section like this on your CV - SOME PROJECTS EXECUTED / SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT SO FAR You can coin a better heading for it. The idea here is for your to highlight what you have do some far in relation to your work experience. They could be general projects / activities and also particularly related to the role you are applying for. |

Not at all, People are wiser now. You can go to Germany where schooling is FREE or other schools in Europe which are free. In Germany, you can get a job easily after you PHD, then get a bluecard while working and get a Permanent Residence after 33 months of Working. if you learn German language to B2 level you can even get the Permanent Residence after 22 Months of Working. In UK, you will just dash the money to their Govt. 46 Likes 2 Shares |

Nairaland is largely a well-known forum and currently enjoys the privilege of being one the first forums in Nigeria in the wake of Social media revolution. Given that Nairaland has helped its users with lots of information and ideas we have benefited from in one way or the other plus progress never ends, we will like to have a collection of ideas of how we could probably improve Nairaland. eg - UI/UX (User Interface Design and User Experience) of the site - Topics making front pages - Time at which breaking news reach front pages - etc I suggest, if you have ideas to make things better, carefully state it and suggest solution. Sample Template: Issue: Time at which breaking news reach front pages. Recommendations: 1. Mods should be more proactive and quick in moving relevant breaking news to front pages or 2. nairaland implement algorithms which can learn and detect threads with relevant breaking news and automatically move them to front page of maybe the algorithm will send notifications to mods about these threads so they can quickly verify and move them to front page instead of waiting after it has been seen in other blogs or forums days/weeks ago. A typical example of a very late thread is: https://www.nairaland.com/5407344/samuel-etoo-retires-football#82072353 2 Likes |
