And yes blissful unions are supposed to encourage those with doubts to try. However, on a personal note I have encountered feminists who when shown blissful unions they reply that the woman is just showing a happy front to the society. That she is in pains.

Nigeria is such a strategic country that no country will want to mess about. British has a lot to lose than Nigeria and they won't do anything unreasonable over someone they can just strip of their citizenship.

Britain cannot overrun Nigeria but there are several mechanisms to coerce Nigeria with. A country is only as stubborn as it can handle. As for the nationalization argument you're comparing apples and oranges.

All your arguments are plausible but Nigeria is on the edge of losing it. The new evidence stuff, national security argument and all that though correct will only work if Britain doesn't take action. If they do Nigeria will surrender the man.

The case has gained international coverage and all eyes are watching Britain. They will not find it easy looking away like they would like to.
