Contact your school's admission/tier 4 visa team ASAP . They can get in touch with UKVI to fast track your application.

Fwaz:
Morning guys!!
Need an advice please
I'm going for an Msc in uk on Tetfund sponsorship, I went for standard visa and I submitted my school award letter in place of bank statements which I believe is ok.. Did my biometric/interview on 17/12/2019 and I got the not straight forward message from Sheffield on 9/01/2020.
I placed a call on ukvi yesterday and I was told decision has not been taken and they will escalate it.
My induction just ended this week and lectures will commence this coming Monday that's 20th..

My latest date is 02/02/2020

My question is
Do ukvi contact TetFund for verification because I don't know why the whole thing is taking much time?
I gat friends from my school on the same Tetfund award and their Visa has been approved though only mine was send to Sheffield because I received both the "application transferred to Sheffield for decision making and not straight forward message" and non of them did.

Please help a frustrated soul☹️☹️☹️I'm tensed

I did and I got my visa from Nigeria. It is 100% possible and legal. You have seen one now
justwise:

Student visa rules are not the same as visiting visa. You need to read and ask questions about this before going ahead, i'm yet to see any one who used foreign bank account for student visa application from Nigeria.

You can use them since they are your Dad's account. I used a UK account and a Nigerian account. I have been in the UK since September 2019.
Dejavu31:

Yes. They are for my dad. One is Barclays the other nationwide. Both have clocked over 28 days. The funds have been there for close to 4 months. But the wahala of moving large funds in the UK is why they are both in different accounts.

I am presently in the UK. Have been since September 2019. I used a UK and Nigerian bank account statements to apply for my visa.
Its even better since they are UK banks and verification is much easier. You can use the 2 UK bank statements for your application.

I'm not really sure if you can use those bank statements for visa application in Nigeria, i think it has to be money held in Nigeria bank account

I will advise the UK immigration experts here to try not to give unverified information to people. If you want to guide someone, do it right. If you don't know the answer to a question, direct such person to the right source to find out. It doesnt make you less of an immigration expert. Nobody is an embodiment of knowledge. We can learn from other people. Money and time will be involved. Lets not take things for granted.

I have been reading the posts about mother in law sponsoring daughter in law and I just laugh. They will just deny you the visa. Ignorance is not an excuse. All guidelines for application are written in black and white for a lay man to understand. Google any question you have and get credible and correct answers from the source. Nairaland is not UKVI website. In my opinion, mother in law's bank statement cannot be used for daughter in law, except you have money to waste. Do not depend on nairaland.

Hi guys, for those who are awaiting their visa and resumption date is close, you can email the admission or visa office of your school to email UKVI to hasten the process that you have to resume school soon and UKVI will oblige.
I adviced someone to do this and he got a decision mail that same day.
You could try it out. I hope it helps

Please I want to seek counsel. Which interview option is better to choose from: self service and prime time or self service and premium? These are the nearest available options. Thank you

is there anything else you want to get out of this?
