Indeed. Whether the lockdown lasts a year until a vaccine is found they will get paid, long after most companies will have folded up and most Nigerians will be eating out of a spoon.

Then the rebooting of the minds of Nigerians will begin. Then they will understand what democracy means that power should belong to the people. By then all sentiment will have faded and all people will be ready to cast fear into those who lead but who should serve. Then no citizens will fight and destroy his fellow citizen on behalf of those who don't give a hoot.

As a matter of fact I have another bitter pill for Nigerians...

Schools are beginning to open around Europe and very soon the States. Lockdown or not, they will fly their kids abroad on chartered flights at your expense while your kids remain at home and lose time to their kids.

If that in addition does not compel you to stand up and demand for proper, good, right, high performance governance.... then you are practically damned.

There is no govermemt in the world today not under the severest of pressure, even those performing to a relatively higher degree. Why should Nigerians sit idly twidling their thumbs while their country crashes.

Lagos with too much stress. Having same experience where I live. The next building beside us, they wake us up 4am with noise like , Ayo wa gbe ohunje oh ( Ayo come and carry your food) . Sometimes. This women will wake up 4am to beat their kids who offended them previous night( imagine) . Am just tired of them .

Can't you see how the roads in Apapa have decayed and become horrible, due to tankers, trailers and trucks parking on either side of the major roads?

Do you realise the hazards thqtt the roads of Apapa have become? The only thing that could make you avoid traffic gridlock in Apapa, were the Okadas and Kèke Marwa.



For some of us, we had to resort to taking boats to get to Apapa, in order to avoid the bad roads and traffic hold up.

This is the most disappointing post I have read on this platform recently.

People worked and made sacrifices to ensure the place you are living now is safe.
You are not ready to make any contribution towards the growth and development of your country yet you are discouraging others who do not want to become refugees like you.

How proud will you be to tell your children that you could not bear little hardship to put things right in their fatherland and bequit to them a country to be proud of. How will you feel before your children when you tell them the only thing you could do was to cowardly run away and make them perpetual tenants and slaves to the land owners all because you felt Nigeria was a doomed place.

I am sorry to disappoint you, this country will be great, we will do all that is possible by God's grace to lift the banner high and give a strong and prosperous country to our children which they will be proud to live in.

Many people saw the young man bleeding and none of them wanted to help. As frustrating as it may seem, this happens all the time. The main reason why they didn't help is because they don't want to be attacked by the thugs who slashed this guy's neck. Its really sad, he had a better chance applying pressure to the site to stop the bleeding than running around exhausting himself and making matters worse.

I will advice any able young man to leave Nigeria asap. Go to Canada, USA or Scandinavia countries legally. You will be better there. Don't let lazy folks decieve you. It is a society that rewards hardwork.

Don't listen to small enterprenuers decieving you the bullshit of you can start small. Go and start small over there. You will be better off. They reward intelligence and hardwork.

However, if you believe you can make it here, you can. It requires tenacity, maneuvers, and patience not hardwork. Nigeria will not get better in 20years to come.
