Hi guys,just here to share my experience.
So some days back when I was in lagos,I took a bolt from yaba to Abule Osun (cool guy came after several attempts because every person kept declining),got to abule Osun(wasted the guys time oo because we had to wait to pick something up,more than an hour),then he took me to Jibowu to waybill the stuff,the guy actually waited again and helped me a lot with the whole work,then from there we headed for VI Kofo abayomi side,only to get there and bolt gave final bill as N4700
I was like what?
The guy actually said let him refresh that it happens like that sometimes,after refresh still N4700.
I am a very humane guy(though I really hate religion and all their crap) and unto say me and the guy don connect wella inside motor plus all the help he gave to me,I handed him 8k
He say ahh chairman add something for me na,I topped 1k for him making it 9k.
Now leaving the connections aside and the help he gave to me ,
On a normal day,would it cost N4700 to make all these trips or was bolt actually faulty and cheated the guy?
Just curious as I am not lagos based.

Most people think their rides have been smooth and they've had no issues with riders so when rating drops, they automatically think it has to do with cancellations.

I have mentioned this elsewhere, riders rate people low for all sort of reasons. Could be suspension noise

I once took a woman to the airport, said she was running late and had a 5pm flight to catch. I drove as fast as I possibly could burning loads of fuel and weaving in and out of vehicles. We made it to the airport before 5.

This woman for reasons best known to her gave me 3 stars.

If I had cancelled a lot of trips before hers, I would have thought my rating dropped because of those cancellations because off the top of my head, I can't think of any reason why she'll do that.

I can now say it that when u didn't respond to order or u decline, ur ratings will drop, this is the second time am noticing this.. too many useless request on bolt this morning, I declined abt 4 trips and i didn't respond to 1 and also accepted abt 2 which i didn't arrive or call the rider till d riders cancelled and and behold my ratings dropped from 4.93 to 4.83

This is one thing I detest about people and I wonder if its perculiar to us Nigerians. I call it the "entitlement mentality."

Why do we always think someone owes us something. Please get this into your skull, no one owes you a 5 star rating. Those drivers I gave 4 stars should thank their stars I'm actually very considerate. Else, I would have given them a single star for risking my life. Its people like you who who throw all forms of dignity and self respect out of the window begging riders for 5 star as if their lives depend on bolt.

I have never in my life and will never ever beg or tell a rider to rate me 5 stars. I have rendered a service to you, there's a question before you asking how my service was, I expect you to answer it as truthfully as you can.

If bolt blocks me today, I'll move on with my life, I will even find something better to do with the time I spend on bolt but people like you have lost all forms of self worth. Once bolt blocks you, its the end of the world for you.

Now to point out how foolish and self centered you are, why do we depend on reviews of products before we buy?

Let's assume everyone who complained about oil consumption of 2007 totoya camry did not do that because they don't want to put toyota out of business, how will intending buyers know how to guard against it?

The annoying part of all this is that, I was only pointing out to pope why you can have a smooth conversation with a rider and he'll still give you a bad rating but you had to just carry your winter induced frustration to attack my innocent post.

Oh how I hate sunday mornings. You go just dey carry short distance house to church discount trips of N300, N400. Na so I carry one last week on a surge trip. Fare was N800, she shouted, said she has never paid more than four or five hundred.

Been using since last year April. No issues , I also run uber with the vehicle 09 accord I4 o change oil between 3500 to 4500 miles

Tge light iusually comes on around 3000 miles if I do city driving, if I do highway driving the light comes up around 400 miles .
I've also experienced little or zero oil burn , the car came with a bad engine which I replaced April 2020 and since then I've had no issues.
I also wanted to use 5w20 but the price and considering how quick I make up the numbers made me use 5w30 semi synthetic.
Some months I change oil twice if I drive really hard

my friends say it supposed to be at least 7Ltrs/100km.

If you can't afford synthetic now, use this BUT CHANGE YOUR OIL EVERY 2-3K miles and when you're more bouyant switch to synthetic. Your car does not require synthetic at all.

5w 20 for better fuel economy
5w 30 for better engine protection
