Election to political offices should be based on merit and what the candidate is capable of doing that way we can be sure the office holders will have the interest of the masses.

So what do suggest be done?

[b]Ofcourse i know in me that more than 50% of Nigerians have not made up their minds to change the nation. Many have lost hope in the nation. More than 5million Nigerians are in America, so many Others in over 120 countries in the world. With all these, Nigerians in Diaspora might be ranging over 10million. Yet we have over 160million in Nigeria. Amongst these people, over 60-80million have lost hope in the country. Some complaining its the North's problem with their born-to-rule mentality. Some say its Islam. Some say its 1914 amalgamation. When Nigeria was about to be divided in 1967, the same set of people fought to keep it one. Some brought up the fact that how can 250 ethnic groups be coined into one country, neglecting the fact that China, India, America and some other nations have almost or more than 250 ethnic groups and yet there are at the top of the world today. Some also put it as corruption. Who is corrupt and what have you done to stop them? Remember that the leaders we call corrupt were put in there by our votes and they can also be brought down by us. We just complain daily and at the end remain silent. The best we can do is fight, lock up, charge our fellow civilians to court while leaving the corrupt leaders to walk freely. We say its the justice system and yet thousands of lawyers graduate, join them but fail to change them. Are the Entire Nigerians Corrupt? What is so much to loose for our children to grow up in a viable, good and corrupt-free/corrupt-less environment? Are we even ready to take up that task and actualize our vision of 2020? Are we ready at all? What should be done should start from now against 2015 cos if you fail to plan, you have planned to fail. We are to decide whether to put our diversity in use and merge a greater force against all odds or to break up and become independent regions. This decision is the first step to be decided by you and I today before we know Step 2. What are your suggestions?[/b]

afam4eva: Our problem is that we're yet to be a nation. Who is a Nigerian? That's the question begging for answers.

Is as a result of jealousy and ignorance that makes the question unanswerable. Whenever one who is from this region, invests in that region and is much successful than the origins of that region, they inturn gets jealous and complains "go bk 2 ya land, dis z ma fatherland" neglecting the fact that being Nigerian means "freedom to live and invest anywhere in Nigeria". Thats ma opinion to what makes that question unanswered.

I really dont know what to say but i know where to stand. Am not voting Buhari, neither am i voting any one. The best is to stay at home and watch. Afterall, voting is ma civic rights and when i dont carry it out, i wouldnt be flogged. @Olumide, dont be deceived by google or nigerian census, the north is just slighty populated than the south buh because they count both their cattles, the figure looks larger. Almost 30% of the north would not vote Buhari, 80% of the East too, 70% of the South and maybe 10% of the West. Just wait till 2015 and see what happens, Buhari wins, the i foresee blood shed though i dont pray for it, Jonathan win, then Boko haram continues.

I knew obi is not as daft as they say. One thing we should knw in life is that each human has his interest and goals they like. Just like Idris Wada of Kogi offers scholarships to kogi indigenes, Obi is more of Industries and investment and has done well in that sector. Some governors love both education, industries and infrastructure but fail at the end due to the level at which they go about it. The main reason for change of government is because of the interest of individuals. When a governor does the educational sector, another does the industries and the other finishes up with the infrastructure. Then from there, maintaining governors would be voted to always take care of these sectors. Thumbs up to Obi though, he thinks like me. Every1 has his ways and approaches. As i nd Obi prefer to save up enough before undertaking projects, some other prefer to pay deposits or installmentals even if it would take 20years b4 the project gets done.

Diversity has it merits and demerits. Its not going to be if we were all one tribe and religion. Check out America, india, china and the likes, they are far away doing well with the strenght in their diversified culture, tribes, origins, lifestyles, religions e.t.c. Nigeria on the other hand derives pleasure in tribalism as most nairalanders display on net instead of putting together our strenght in diversity, harness it for the betterment of everyone. When we dont show our corrupt leaders that we are ready to move forward and leave tribalism, how do you think they would stop milking the masses. The problem with us doesnt lie in being one religion or tribe buh being one in terms of goals. Yoruba hating igbos, igbos hating hausas, hausas hating yorubas e.t.c, how would we all progress with hate in our minds? Check it out o0. One who progresses is one who doesnt hate even if hated. Googled out some of the Nigerian governors(dunno some of them) and it seems like they all ranged between the ages of 49-70years of age. Fashola is the youngest i could get being 49years of age with the likes of Okorocha, Obi e.t.c following each by one. Oshiomole being the Oldest at 59-62 or there about(cant remember). because i dont know most of the northern governors. Who do you know is the youngest in real age(sometimes they change age like footballers do, ah wonder if they have political age) and also state the youngest again in the aspect of good policy making and the likes.

This question is to be answered by someone who speaks both the 3 languages. Meanwhile i do speak the 3 of em. To me, when learning, yoruba was difficult buh i feel igbo is hardest. Hausa is more easier, why i cant say for Igbo much is because i am an igbo person and u dnt nid 2 b taught hw 2 speak it, its jst insyd you. I never grew in the southeast buh i speak igbo fluently. Yoruba language has this addictive approach, when they speak it, you get to like it and think its easy buh when learning it, it becomes complicated as u meet a word with more than 8 meanings. Hausa is one heck of a language that you dont need to be taught to learn it. Mere hearing it alone is self explanatory. Check out this word and say the truth u c in it, wich 1 dey self explanatory- "ina zua", "mó ngbó", "anam abia"?
Buh to conclude, all languages are hard and easy in their own way depending on the learners.

Its not suppose to be illegal buh because of what it does to the humans that take excess of it, it becomes illegal. All tablet drugs ranging from panadol to pyrazinamide and the likes all have a little cocaine in them. Overdose aint good cos it inturns makes your head touch like pure cocaine takers and sometimes kills, thats why when a drug is given to one, it would have prescription to aviod the effect as stated above. Meanwhile, only drug manufacturing industries have rights to import cocaine but are being supervised and checked by the govt of the nation. An individual cant be given permission to cocaine imports due to the cost he would pay b4 getting such certificate cos he would need to own an accredited drug industry such as PAL, DANA and the likes.
