Obama or New York Times?

The onus is on Stella to publish her certificate
The investigators should be able to have evidence of their investigation. Only when they present theirs and she presents otherwise, then we will be able to follow the matter.

Yes of course...PRESIDENT OF AREWA REPUBLIC.

We are no longer "Born to be ruled"...It is equity and fairness toppled with Merit or Disintegration.

ImperialYoruba: grin im looking at your map wisconsin is like sitting where bauchi is sitting on map of nigeria. That is midwest to you? grin grin

So what is california? south south?
California is west even without any means of map, if you have a clear memory of what the U.S looks like. Though i'd prefer it be South-West.

And as for Wisconsin, it looks North-Central to me though due to its proximity to Minnesota. These few areas are always too cold during winter in the U.S

Even at Texas, the side-mirror of a friend of mine' car got iced. His water inside the car with all windows locked was iced also and stocked there.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Leaders Reject Okurounmu National Conference Panel’s Report by Slizbeat(m): 11:32am On Jan 07, 2014
I must say I agree with this one but the constitution should be amended while another committee be setup to draft a new one before we finally dump the amended one.

On the issue of including all ethnic nationals, I do agree also. We want an "Ethnic National Conference" whereby every ethnic group will feel among and be carried along in the affairs of this country for the sake of equity and fairness.

Furthermore, if we call for an SNC(Sovereign National Conference), it practically means that all political office holders will resign and then the conference begins. On that way, the affairs and runnings of this country will be sidelined.

I think I stick to this writeup....I totally agree.

For those of you attacking other posters' comment, I really think it is uncalled for. Give yours and let others have a say....this country is not owned by any ethnic group...we all have contributed our own various quotas to the development of this nation and so we must have our own say in the affairs of the country.
PoliticsRe: My Stand On Who APC Should Field For The Presidency/VP - Femi Fani-kayode by Slizbeat(m): 6:56pm On Jan 06, 2014
cramjones: We are picking based on merit - Proven leadership qualities, ability to carry everyone along, no record of corruption! However, due to the nature and sensitivity of these elections, we would have to zone the slots to ensure victory. Remember that we are dealing with a party with the power of incumbency...
DONT DEAL WITH THE PARTY BASED ON WRESTING POWER(Of which you just confirmed by your post with the "incumbency" thing.) BUT BASED ON PROVIDING GOOD LEADERSHIP TO THE MASSES(Which I don't envisage APC is going to do)

I already knew it was cookes up by APC at the onset.

Even if GEJ goes with 500 delegates, just 2 presidential jet(Nigerian Air-force 1) will be enough to take them all.

How can they lie in that manner?? Even a 3 year old kid can't buy that na.....was he going with his entire bayelsa kinsmen and that of his wife??

Abi he just sent pilots to drive the planes empty to Kenya??

This one is a NO-NO to me....APC....Please bring up something tougher, that one didn't sell up to 10 copies.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter/reply To Gov. Amaechi Regarding His Utterance On AIT. by Slizbeat(op): 7:40pm On Jan 03, 2014
wirinet: One thing you people have failed to realize is that most people do not know what Biafra is. What is BIAFRA and who is a biafran?
Amaechi is saying " We are not Biafrans" because nobody has explained to him who a biafran is. Lots of core Igbos do not identify themselves as Biafrans. Even Rochas Okorocha has ever identified himself as a biafran. There are loads of Igbos in Lagos and even here on Nairaland who dont know what Biafra is all about.
So you need to help us out what defines Biafra and a Biafran. is it language? is it a geographical location? is it according to place of birth, fathers roots, mothers roots? what?

One more thing, is being a biafran by force? because from what i read on nairaland ,any igbo speaking person who does not identify with biafra is insulted, intimidated and even threatened and called all sorts of names like traitor.
Sorry for not clarifying that.

BIAFRA is not limited to any geographical region as at it inception.GOWON limited it by state creation shortly before the civil war exploded.

Being a BIAFRAN is not limited to any ethnic group as at it inception also......A biafran is anyone who wants change in the form of INDEPENDENCE and LIBERATION from the present day NIGERIA.

There are loads of Igbos who don't feel like they are biafrans due to the fact that they don't want change and Insulting them is wrong indeed. No one is actually forced to become a biafran.....it's a thing of choice. Educating them is just what we do. It's a movement and a revolution whereby stakeholders Garner others to invest in the building of a nation void of lies, corrupt and decisive government both at the Federal and states levels.

PoliticsAn Open Letter/reply To Gov. Amaechi Regarding His Utterance On AIT. by Slizbeat(op): 10:37am On Jan 03, 2014
On behalf of myself and the entire Ndigbo Nairaland(If I am permitted), I wish to stress it or point out just some fews points to you Sir.

1. We the good people of the SE do not care whether or not you(Amaechi) or any other person feel you are biafran or not.

2. We the people of SE had always complained of being marginalized since after the Civil war and for the first time in the return to democracy had we being able to feel a bit of FG presence around our geographical region which of course you attested to that fact.

3. You used the word "BIAFRANS" instead of SE-Igbos, due to the fact that you have realised the imminent emergence of BIAFRA and what her laws will do to corrupt officials like you within the region and for you to remain politically relevant, you tried diverting the attention of other well organized groups to joining the new republic starting with your ikwerre group.

4. Haven accepted the fact that you say things you don't want to is evident to show your desperation which is always associated with a particular set of people in alliance.

5. Last but not the least, we urge you to step aside and keep quiet or incur the wrath of the new found republic on you by the power 4.

BIAFRA as a nation is capable and viable of being and independent nation whether landlocked or not with a Nigerian-given population of 28 million which of course is fraudulent in Nature as we all know we have a population close to 50 million.

With these few points given above, I will like to round up by saying that SE/BIAFRA is capable of being independent with or without SS including Delta state.....joining the new republic is a voluntary thing and will treat all the same way ranging from the majority Igbos to the minority Igala of Northern Anambra state.

Thank you all for your attention.

PoliticsRe: I‘ll Not Contest 2015 Election – Jonathan by Slizbeat(m): 1:11am On Dec 20, 2013
Lemme give you guys a little something to feast on...

OBJ said so in 1999 when Abdulsalami met him....he said "No" but later agreed to just 1 term. What happened nexthuh He wanted a 3rd time, not even say a 2nd was OK for him.

Fashola said so in 2007.....his words were(Not distinct) "Coming for a second term is done by politicians who failed their first time and it means repeating of Class. Am not going to repeat my own Class". What happened next??.....He is currently on a second term. Why did you come back?? Answer- "The people wanted me back". So because your teachers wanted you back in Jss1, you had to repeat?? Idonthinkso.

End point- As long as Jonathan is constitutionally Qualified to rerun for 2015, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that whether he did well or not.....leave that to the Polls...Shikena.

PoliticsRe: 27 New Lga In Osun, politics Or Development? by Slizbeat(m): 5:14pm On Dec 17, 2013
To me, it's all politics because certain revenue allocation also has ties with the number of LGA a state has.

Call it whatever you like, it's all politics but also in a way, it will increase the number of LGA Chairmen and give well defined and checkmated development. Yet, it will only increase the Looting power by 27. No more, No less.
PoliticsRe: Is A One, United Nigeria Unachievable? by Slizbeat(m): 4:54pm On Dec 17, 2013
I believe it is achievable only on some certain conditions which I am not sure if some ethnic groups would key into....but in all, I wish it all never started.

If you are interested in that, p.m me so that we plan a campaign towards peace rather than killing ourselves over nothing while our leaders use the opportunity as an avenue to loot.

Agbameta, payless and ilugunboy, I have know you guys as never-see-anything good if it ain't Fashola.

One man's food is another man's poison. The same way you adore Fashola and Criticize Obi is the same way some other will adore Obi and Criticize Fashola.

My advice for you guys......"Inorder for you to be meaningful in this society of ours, you must learn to accept one's opinion and style of governance irrespective of your contrary opinion"

From America and other parts of the world, you claim to Know Lagos and Anambra more than those living there. To me, all your ranting are uncalled for. Dress code or not, you don't expect a Tinubu to be on suit to such an occasion, do you?? So what's the fuss about??
PoliticsThe Collapse Of Nigeria Except This Is Being Known By All by Slizbeat(op): 1:14am On Dec 17, 2013
Anyone who feels Nigeria is gonna exist after 2015 is still sleeping to me. All I am clamoring for is a peaceful disintegration of this Entity called "NIGERIA".

Come 2016, Jonathan or no Jonathan, the divorce paper must be signed. Whether we like it or not, we were never one and can never be just as petrol doesn't mix with water.

The U.K(then great Britain) in her quest to control Africa's most populated zone had to carry out fraudulent Amalgamation in order to achieve their selfish interest.

Lemme cut the writing short and give you a revelation of a Briton who purportedly partook in the census done during the Colonial era.

BRITON CONFESSES TO FRAUDULENT CENSUS IN NIGERIA.

The man Harold Smith is not new in Nigerian history. He is one of the architects of colonial foundation that midwifed Nigerian independence in 1960. His response was "I am in my 80s now; I have agreed but in the past 'they' did not want me to say anything, but now I don't want to go to my grave without telling the truth about the atrocities perpetrated in Africa by the colonialists.

Brothers and sisters; on Ben TV last Thursday, Harold Smith was on a program to reveal what went behind the scene before the independence. The Oxford University graduate had this to say about his role in Nigeria pre and after independence era.

'Our agenda was to completely exploit Africa. Nigeria was my duty post. When we assessed Nigeria, this was what we found in the southern region; strength, intelligence, determination to succeed, well established history, complex but focused life style, great hope and aspirations. The East is good in business and technology, the west is good in administration and commerce, law and medicine, but it was a pity we planned our agenda to give power "at all cost" to the northerners. They seemed to be submissive and silly of a kind. Our mission was accomplished by destroying the opposition at all fronts. The west led in the fight for the independence, and was punished for asking for freedom. They will not rule Nigeria!

Harold Smith confessed that the Census results were announced before they were counted. Despite seeing vast land with no human but cattle in the north, we still gave the north 55 million instead of 32 Million. This was to be used to maintain their majority votes and future power bid. He stated that the West without Lagos was the most populous in Nigeria at that time but we ignored that. The north was seriously encouraged to go into the military.

According to him, they believe that the south may attend western education, but future leaders will always come from military background. Their traditional rulers were to be made influential and super human. The northerners were given accelerated promotions both in the military and civil service to justify their superiority over the south. Everything was to work against the south. We truncated their good plan for their future.

"I was very sorry for the A.G; it was a great party too much for African standard. We planned to destroy Awolowo and Azikiwe well, the west and the east and sowed a seed of discord among them". We tricked Azikiwe into accepting to be president having known that Balewa will be the main man with power. Awolowo has to go to jail to cripple his genius plans for a greater Nigeria.

However, Harold Smith justified the British agenda of colonialism in Nigeria, which he believed was originally to help build Africa after the ruins of slave trade, but lamented that the British only looked after themselves and not after Nigerian interest. The British really let Nigeria down. When I see Nigerian's been accused of fraud and from what I saw on the streets of Lagos; the British were worst fraudsters.

Looking at the northern leaders now he said, "If they have any agenda in Nigeria at all, sadly it is only for the north, and nothing for Nigeria. He stated that the British look after the British people and this is so all over the world. He said the time has come now to see people of intelligent minds with an open and inclusive agenda for all Nigerians in power, people who will really look after Nigeria's large population. but "I still curiously and sorrowfully see now that the British has not let go of Nigeria, her wealth, her potentials, her future. He opined that the Caucasian people now assert themselves as the keeper of the "New Age" keys. He therefore said that it is only logical for Europeans to maintain their position of power, scientific superiority, economic exploitation, they must continue to perpetuate their lies and falsehoods and this is the most unkindest cut of all in relation to Nigeria's situation!

According to him, Nigeria, a great nation was crippled not because of military juntas or corrupt leaders alone but by the British and American fear of Nigeria's great future. He confessed, "The fear of the place that will be our 'dumping ground' really occupied our minds".

Some of the things he said were not new to Nigerians or to the whole world but hearing it from the horse's mouth is quite revealing and established more reality zones. He finally submitted that the colonial masters have caused havoc while they were in Africa, and planted timed bombs when they finally left. What we see since independence, the administration of new internal colonial masters by fellow Nigerians holding sway in power is doing more damage to Nigeria.

Instead of detonating the time bombs planted by the British, the north is planting mines. He added that 'It was my duty to carry out all of the above and I was loyal to my country. Nigerians should try to be loyal to their country leaders and followers alike. Love your country. You have got the potentials to be great again and the whole world knows this'.

I am sorry for the above evil done to Nigeria. I can't say sorry enough.."

Well, that's the link I got for now.

The only thing that will keep Nigeria in existence is if the North agrees to fraudulent census and declare their true population whether minority or not, then we will take it from there.

Again, provided the discourse and hatred planted between the East and west stops after this revelation so that the west knows that it's not about domination but development and goodwill from the east and the east knows that it's not about jealousy/laziness but Love and proper administration.

May the Almighty bless you all.

This is a service to his fellow Ibos who are usually quick to jump on things like these without hardly thinking or asking any probing questions. Up till now, they've not responded but they will term you a "hater" for not being a sheep led around by the nose!

Afam, I'm still waiting for your link. Pistol, you are already seeing my asking you to show me factual data as "hatred" but that won't make this question go away! I wonder why Seun allows NL to continually depreciate in quality by the quality of debate and information on this forum. It was not so in the beginning!
Can you provide a proof to me that Yoruba is 35 million, Hausa 49 million and Igbo 28 million??

Kayode is a pathetic liar. Why choose to rewrite History of what you had no clear memory of when it happened??

doctokwus: Dat is d aspect I still don't get;dat dese govt officials trully bliv all nigerians outside of govt are imbeciles, incapable of independent reasoning?
Besides, unless d so called estimated cost is meant 4 abuja alone,I don't see how N100b wud b enough to fund such project dat entails building what is essentially a microcity, around all airports in nigeria.Another thing dat seems like a conduit pipe in nigeria is dis new nigerian version of public private sector initiative.Once I hear dat concept, fraud alarm bells start ringing in my ear, because most often in nig,its d govt dat eventually foots d bill of those projects while d so called private sector investors are usually nigerians wt close connection to govt,wt no proven independent biz record, unable to secure needed international counterpart funding, arising frm d same unknown or poor biz record, but who at d end of d day get to collect fees, taxes or rebates frm project dey contributed nothing to.
You would have also claimed theft if it had been 1 trillion naira. Besides, 100billion naira is a good price. 20 billion is enough to the abuja part since it's a private sector thing.

You are just too blind to know that 100 billion to 10 million is like dishing out 10K to 10 million people.
Would you have being complaining if it was an APC led government that brought up the initiative??
Stop your politics of Over-oppositioning cos it just keep on heating up the polity.
What you should have asked was when such projects would be completed.
