Mehn, who ever did this comparism should go back and learn more, sorry so say.

I attend Unilorin and my fee here is N25, 750, hostel is N28, 000, OffK rent is from 30,000-210,000 depending on your choice.

Take example, i spend 100,000 for Off-K rent and 26000 for school fee, dats less than 150,000 and again transportation fare is 100 daily whether economy hard or not, it doesn't change except during scarcity of fuel of which students revolt against any change. 21,000 is for transportation per session using 7 days of the week as school days. Now dats still less than 150,000. Yet plus feeding, i don't think spending will be up to 250,000.

Dats for Off-K.

Imagine being in school, guy, u wil send less than 150,000 for a session.

Politics / Re: Photos Of The Present State Of Enugu-Onitsha Expressway by Slizbeat(m): 9:47am On Oct 06, 2016
The state of the road is getting worse by the day.

The federal government of this country from 1999 till date has never fair to the people of the SouthEast. I mean, that road for crying out loud is less than 300Km and yet for over 17years now, it's still not fixed. I bliv it's not even in the budget for this year or next.

Truth be told, if the federal government has nothing to offer to the East, they should let them go and run their own government as a country. The governors of both state has other responsibilities to carry out, the more reason why i wouldn't say they are to be blamed. The road itself receives more passengers who ply the route than the Lagos-Ibadan route(from sagamu interchange to Ibadan) and no federal government has deemed it fit to fix it.

Let the injustice continue in this land of Nigeria. Little wonder Nigeria still keeps falling in growth in a modern 21st century as this.

God help us.

Umm,so enlightening.

One question though, Is it the same yorubas dat refused Migration and asking everyone else to go back to their various places/homelands that would have migrated?

something smells fishy here. Why is it that no one can give an account of the language except it be heard from the King?

I hope the king is not trying to impose a new identity to the people by bringing up the Oluku mi stuff.

All the same, if true, what happens? Cos obviously the land doesn't belong to them. Would they go back to Owu/Owo in Ondo? or Wil they keep growing and making headway into Delta so we could all really blend irrespective of our original origin?

Hmm, making sense though.

Politics / Notice To ZAHRA BUHARI. by Slizbeat(m): 12:21am On Apr 05, 2015
Dear Zahra, I can see that a very big knot in your head has slacked and probably dropped, the reason why you blab and rant like an uneducated baboon upon the millions being spent on you to study in UK.

I still don't get how stupid you could be to go online to publicly insult and castigate Our Amiable President for a very Heroic display he showed.

Remember, you Father GMB never congratulated GEJ for the 2011 Victory, instead he incited Hate crime and that led to the death of over 3000 Nigerians of which lives he can never create.

A man who would have simply annulled the election as GCFR and start a new one or simply inflate figures by manipulation but didn't because after considering the damage YOUR FATHER'S STATEMENT MADE IN 2011, He couldn't afford to let that happen. Now to me, that is something worthy of note and deserving the term HEROIC ACT.

If the youths of this days can't learn how to STFU and be more constructive in their criticism, then I guess the Change this country needs will never come. CHANGE doesn't come with GOVERNMENT, it Starts with you. No one can change you if you don't change yourself and by saying so, I mean your attitude towards people around, both friends and foes.

I therefore beg you in the name of God to please shut up and applaud the President for what he has done because we who are not blindfolded know that YOUR FATHER WOULD NEVER HAD DONE SUCH AND SO MANY DEATHS WOULD HAVE BEEN RECORDED WHILE YOU WILL BE OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY WATCHING.

I apologize for the insult above but I think you too deserve it for the while. HUMILITY seems like STUPIDITY, the difference between them is that the Former is being displayed by HEROES while the latter is being displayed by HATERS.

I was a teacher and I bet you and tell you that an 8-year old can never write such. Of what importance is this to us? A child that was never there during Buhari's time is saying he did better when he was there. A child that can't articulate a one-paged composition of his/her self but will begin to write about buhari?

Enough of all these useless, senseless and baseless campaign propaganda.......last time I check, it was a 9-year old girl that saved about 5000 and donated to GMB for campaign. Now it's an 8-year old. Soon it will be 3year-old.

Last of all, look very at pictures 2 and 3, you will notice d page on 3 is a continuation of 2 but on 2, it's clear that nothing was written on d subsequent page b4 it was snapped. TRY HARDER NEXT TIME, THIS ONE NO SELL.

Politics / Reasons Why The Election Date May Further Be Shifted- An Honest Point Of View by Slizbeat(m): 8:24am On Feb 27, 2015
Good morning my fellow Nairalanders and fellow well meaning Nigerians.

The scramble for the top job in Nigeria today is getting more tough by the day with just the ordinary Citizens bearing the burden of the situation.

Election scheduled to hold on the 14th of February was because of some hiccups accruing to INEC, was shifted to the 28th of March. This hiccup they say and we all know is the disenfranchisement of Voters. I again foresee another shift in the election date because of this same setbacks.

This is what I and many others experienced yesterday while trying to get our PVC. On the INEC's website, it was boldly stated that PVC Collection continues and those who haven't collected yet should go to their wards and collect it there. my ward is Ejigbo high school, that's because I stay at oke afa area of oshodi-isolo, then my polling unit is at okeafa high school with the code 011.

At 9a.m, I left my residence, headed down to Ejigbo high school with the assurance and conviction that I will get my PVC since inec has spelt it out online. I got there but couldn't find any official. I asked and I was told that they no longer bring the PVCs down to Ejigbo. I was now redirected to the Local government at Bolade oshodi. With my mind as good and patient at it was, not minding the cost of the fare and time I would use in doing other things, I had to move immediately down to bolade.

I got to bolade, got to the INEC office, submitted my card so they could give me the PVC. They accepted it, went into their office to get it while I waited outside. While I was there, a lady came with a complain about her elder sister who is a medical doctor and couldn't make it that day because of work trying to get her PVC and was told INEC did not issue it. The official who responded to her said, "Madam, I wouldn't want to be sincere with you because if i do, you may not like it. From this temporary card you gave me, I can tell you that she(referring to the lady's sister) will not get any PVC because her fingerprint was not captured and saved". The lady asked how he knew it was captured and saved, he said "Look at the little dots by the sides of your passport photograph, you will see it's not shaded, it's white indicating a non captured fingerprint" and by so, makes it invalid and will not be issued. I at this point now asked him, "Whose fault is it?" and he couldn't answer directly. All he said was that, "It's not Inec's fault, it's the system used", stating that no other registration would have taken place after the lady in question was registered if the data wasn't saved.

I actually thought for a while, what kind of system will lose a captured data and inec made no room for such accidents. The lady after this quickly left because she too has work to attend to. Now, that is just one disenfranchised voter out of so many untold.

On my own part, when the official came out, he said, "Mr. Nwankwo, am sorry your card is not ready, check back in two weeks time" and a lady waiting for hers was told same thing and she began to complain bitterly of how she had been there 4 times before yesterday's experience. I just had it in mind that I am personally not going to vote again, am tired of it. if issues were not resolved, then I support another election postponement.

Twist of the story, A reliable source from the office told me that the cards are ready and inside the office there but they want to frustrate people so they wouldn't get it before the election date. Another source said, "Oga you are Igbo, from your name I can tell.........as for your card, don't bother about it because they won't give it to you"

After all this, I kept to myself and decided to paste it here so we could all reason together and call the appropriate authority to beware of what's ongoing.

thank you all.

GEJ HAD TO WAIT TILL ELECTIONS TO ORDER FULL SCALE WAR AGAINST BOKO HARAM WHILE THOUSANDS OF NIGERIANS LOST THEIR LIVES DAILY. THIS IS POLITICALLY CALCULATED TO WIN HIM SENTIMENTAL VOTES AGAINST THE OPPOSITION BUT SO FAR ONLY THE IGBOS AND SOUTH SOUTH ARE DECIEVED BY THIS CHEAP BLACK MAIL. GEJ NOWS BOKO MORE THAN WE THINK AND HIS INVOLVEMENTS WILL SOON BE EXPOSED WEN BUHARI IS SWORN IN ON MAY 29.

HE AND HIS COHORTS SHALL END UP IN JAIL FOR FAILING TO TAME THIS MONSTER ALL IN THE NAME OF POLITICS.

how do you think?
America had Intel on Osama bin Laden until when it was time for them to carry out their operation........so did Nigeria, from day one, Boko haram is a disagreement between the government and some certain set of elites.

Now is the right time for the operation, just so not happy for d lives lost.

But If you look closely, you'll see that several other subjects are also indicated "1". I believe it's a way of saying; "he didn't write this subject".

Just for that, I agree with you. On the other hand, Hausa Language was not written as a subject in that year but in '74 so I don't know how he got his result. There is more to it.

But he didn't write Igbo.

That's part of what I am trying to bring out.

He may not have written it but to cook up such a quack result needs proper thinking as knowing that indicating a subject not written, "---" is used instead of "1" indicating a grade.
Politics / More To Buhari's Certificate. by Slizbeat(m): 4:57pm On Jan 22, 2015
I hope every comment on this thread will be reasonable.

From the statement of result below which I believe all so concerned have gotten copies for proper scrutiny, I also want to believe that the grades shown there are as clear as the eyes could see but for the benefit of doubt, I will highlight on the grades in this post below

EXCELLENT - A1 - 1
VERY GOOD - B2 - 2
GOOD - B3 - 3
CREDIT - C4, C5, C6 - 4, 5, 6
PASS - D7, E8 - 7, 8
FAIL - F9 - 9

Buhari had an A in IRS, Arabic Studies, Hausa Language, *government, *Economics, *physics, *chemistry, *Biology, *metal work, technical drawing, *commerce, *type-writing, *principles of account/book keeping and IGBO LANGUAGE

All those with asterisk means am not too sure if he didn't take them or not but if he did, then for the sake of writing multiple one representing the grades, they had to draw a long 1 for indication.

But whether or not he got an A is not what my clear and close observation is all about. My interest is in the bolded language above, the IGBO LANGUAGE which they purportedly stated him(Buhari) as having an A-grade in.

We all know that at the time Buhari's claim about attending school in the Northern part of Nigeria specifically Katsina in 1961, the then Saraduana which was Ahmadu bello had already developed together with the entire North, a hatred for the igbo ethnic Group and by much probability, not having Anything to do with the study of the language in that part of the country as from his perspective, the igbos are a kind of people who like to dominate and in turn is robbing them of their Jobs and if they don't have a northerner to occupy the space, they will go for an expatriate.(If you want the video to that interview, p.m me or email me). buhari would not have written the language as a subject not to talk more of having an A as the result has stated.

Reasonable minds should please come together and reason this so people don't go from believing a little covered up lie to believing a much Bigger one.

Politics / Re: Apc Presidential Campaign Rally In Kano.....#change.... by Slizbeat(m): 3:48pm On Jan 20, 2015
The greatest mistake this nation will ever make is to vote in GMB. What an elder sees sitting down, a child can never see when on top an iroko tree.

A word is enough for the wise........two ways to it. The west wants power return to them since obj was unable to get a third term. The only option is to field in a candidate that they know is not healthy(Ask Obj what he did during GEJ as a vice president) so that when the time comes, the vice takes over making PYO the president. Either way, the North uses PYO to actualize GMB's presidential ambition and afterwards he be impeached. Then power returns to the North.

If you think you are wise, and you still want GMB in power, then you need urgent medical checkup and schooling on NNDP & NCNC who once where the most progressive parties. You will know why AG of the old and ACN/APC of now are behaving this way.....they have always being OPPOSITION and never a healthy one because they envy the real progressives and ................ That's enough for now.

To the youths, you are presented with the opportunity to decide your future come February......if you wrongly decide, your children may as well suffer it in the future.

My advice: If there is a possibility of boycotting the election, pls do until the political parties presents better candidates.....Dat way, you are no responsible for the worst to come. But in all, if I were you, I'd pick the lesser devil in this condition.

In a country like ours, I don't count the extreme rich ones as wealthy, they are just bunch of underground thieves in my opinion. You climb reach 23rd in the world but your village has no impart of your wealth and humility? Just so not right in my perspective.

Congrats to him though but if from the story dantata told me a few years back of how his father(dangote's mother elder brother) gave a loan of 300K to him for business and he paid under 3months, I keep doubting the clarity of his wealth upon physical evidence and proof of his business empire...Am just being too Critical I guess.

A lot of people, especially from the SW who have never crossed Ore be posting internet pictures of igboland as far back as 15 years, claiming it's recent.

Truth be told, if not for Federal government roads, The SE is the most accessible by land. I have been to almost all SE States except Ebonyi and i am convinced that in 15 years time, the region will hit a hundred million population with 12-20% foreigners. Currently, it has a population of over 42 million(forget about the wuru wuru census).
Anambra and Imo posses close to 11 million each, enugu has about 8-9 million. Abia as about 7 and ebonyi has 4-5 million.

Politics / Ill Treatment Of Nigerians By NAF All Because Of Foreigners by Slizbeat(m): 9:32pm On Aug 13, 2014
Good day to everyone.

First of all, i will like to welcome myself after such a long break from NL and also send my condolences to Seun for the security bridge and loss of data experienced some time last two months i guess.

To all my like-minded people, i greet you all.

To all myall unlike-minded people, i recommend ebola test drug for yougrin

Now, to the topic.

I have observed on several occasions the way our armed forces treats us all because of foreigners.

Just yesterday, i was returning from work as usual, normal Lagos life and then i passed through ajao estate going down to canoe and nnpc. Those with a clear and vivid picture of that route would know that it's a one way and experiences a lot of holdups because of Chivita and other industries in the area.

Now, some foreigners were been conveyed in some FG vehicle with "Railway" as the number plates(Chinese nationals of CCECC) and the indiscriminate way they drove and flogged motorists on the way to create space where clearly it is not their fault but the heavy vehicles parked by the road side by Chivita(A Chinese national i guess).

I felt so destabilized at that instant but of course, it's apparent that i couldn't help. See the way they treat us like dogs just because of foreigners in our OWN LAND.

My mind was struck by a question which is "Turn the table round, will this same foreigners treat us as kings at the expense of their citizens in their country?" I guess a big NO is the answer.

Let us unite against this kind of treatment on us and make our leaders understand that we deserve better than we are receiving.
Thank you.

As for the banana heads posting pictures of different states for the sole purpose of mockery and tribalism, pray ebola touches your leg but leaves you after you've changed.
