superjab247:That's to show you that the ranching is the way to go. All those countries don't rear cows like we do here to n Nigeria. They majorly ranch their cattle. |
Stigma. Culture. These are some of the reasons why Child adoption is not done openly in Nigeria. People resort now to literally feigning pregnancy and adopting or buying kids (from baby factories) secretly to pass them on to the public as their biological own. As for the cultural aspect of this, people see having kids as investment. So adopting and raising someone's else kid ,when there is likelihood that the parents may claim back the kid sometime in the future doesn't look like a good investment to many. |
The future is female indeed ![]() |
Bandits ran to police stations for safety |
If we blacks know the pains and deprivation we have suffered because of the interests of the British royal family we wouldn't be in a hurry to rever them. |
And some people were celebrating the arrest of Rocha's Okorocha . |
id911:It's a shame really. |
Lagoon0:Nope. Justice should be done. And I wish that all our politicians would face same fate ASAP. But this makes a mockery of the whole system. Watch how this case will end... |
This is likely politically motivated. Why now? EFCC turned a blind eye to all the petitions written against him for years. Until now their is crises in his home state where the governor is blaming some Imo politicians as been the cause . I am not holding brief for any of our politicians that contributed to the mess that Nigeria is in today. They all should be prosecuted and jailed ASAP. But having an anti-corrosion crusade that is selective is counter productive. In the end it will make a mockery of the system. Watch how this case will end... |
Politics, obviously. |
I wonder how some states are run. Must states wait for federal allocation before workers are paid? What about the state's IGR? Kano I know is one the commercial nerve centers of Nigeria with many industries and places of commerce. But then, I guess the state's civil service is bloated. With so many sparsely populated LGAs . LGAs inhabited by fathom people that only show up during national elections ![]() |
CosmicPhoenix:Actually the Bible is the holy scriptures of Christians not a history book. It wasn't written to satisfy your curiosity. Rather it was written to point you to the saviour , in whom you must accept by faith. 1Cor.1.18 - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1Cor.1.19 - For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." 1Cor.1.21 - For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. |
And you call those cheap? Lands are pretty expensive down here in the SE. |
They were dancing in a nursery school. Ghanaians self ![]()

Do anyone know the real reason about the high and rising cost of cement in Nigeria? I put on hold my building project, thinking that the price would soon crash but it doesn't seem to be working. |
We have been so marginalized and neglected so long that small things as road rehabilitation is lauded to high heavens. Is it not what the governor is meant to do after about six years in office? The only infrastructural development we have in this part of the country is road rehabilitation. What a shame. |
I hope plenty gunboats went with them as escorts? |
Nawa ooo |
What happened to our Helicopter gunships? Troop movements like that should always have air support ![]() |
You should be selling this to Fulani herdsmen . They need it |
makeitijn:Nope. Not yet... herdsmen wahala |
Where is the seafood? I came here hoping to see a wide array of locally prepared seafood. Maybe na catfish pepper soup ![]() |
Good luck brother. |
emperor863:This was on FP 2 days ago. Then, it was two men that were caught at different times and places, one Yoruba and the other Igbo. I wonder why the mods are recycling this story while omitting the Yoruba man that was earlier featured with Mr. Onuchukwu in the story. This is beginning to look tribalistic. https://www.nairaland.com/6398981/ndlea-arrests-businessman-1-other |

In some cities in the east like Aba the number of Kekes on the roads is mind boggling. But then, I don't blame them nor want them taken off the roads. It's the highest employer of labor in some states. |
nullboss:And Dangote is still black? The man for don turn snow-white by now. |
Cashiers go hear am. |
How can one print out his National identity card slip? The app apparently doesn't have provision for that. |
lamentor78:That's it! |
Zzor:It's not just about the laptop but the content. |
