DIKEnaWAR: Murtala was a killer and a ruthless one at that. Read your history young fella. Show me any soldier that's not a killer. You keep saying read your history. What's there to read, that Murtala committed war crime in Asaba? Which commander at both side didn't commit war crime? Do you forget that Ojukwu and Biafran soldiers committed same atrocity when they invaded mid west? And don't let us forget extra judicial killing of Banjo and Ifeajuna by Ojukwu. So cut me that crap that Murtala got served for what he did because the last time I checked Aguiyi-ironsi didn't partake in the 1st 1966 coup and he was brutally murdered in the 2nd coup. If your Karma is sensible enough, someone like IBB and Gowon shouldn't be alive today. |

CuteMorriz: Gowon was the nicest of all Nigerian soliders. Gowon was ready to sign Aburi and prevent the war but Awo(thank heavens he took the otapiapia) corrupted his mind. Gowon has a large heart. Did you Murtala and Gowon are enemies? Till the death of the monster Thank you for twisting history so terribly. Do you know Awolowo was in prison in Calabar when the Aburi accord was agreed on? But guess what, your tribal bigotry wont allow you to reason well. And why won't Gowon be enemy with Murtala when it was Murtala that overthrown his government. And for christ sake stop making the silly point that awo committed suicide. If a man that died at the ripe age of 78 commits suicide, then I guess Ojukwu and Azikiwe committed suicide too And did you say Gowon was the nicest Nigeria soldier? I'm sure you're not aware that Dimka that assasinated Murtala did so with Gowon acknowledgement |

Vavana: Good evening house,
Please talk to me. Please no INSULTS.
Is this a problem or obsession?
From my childhood I save money a lot, especially during those Xmas time when aunty n uncle give kids money.
Now am grown ooooo, people I still find it difficult to spend my money ooo oooo. My hard earned salary.
I drive joy in saving, saving n saving. In fact I shop for myself twice in a year. Though when am buying, I buy quality wears.
If I spend my own money, I will be angry. What sort of stupid life is this.
Even if someone gives me money, I still use it carefully.
Am not hear to earn online like.
Matured comments, please oooo.
Thanks. The attribute you are showing is not strange at all, as a matter of fact it is something that is lacking in western world these days. According to stat, annual household savings in most of these countries are below 5% of total income because almost everything is obtained on credit. Can you see that your saving habit is something many people will kill to have? The only thing I think you need to work on is feeling bad when you spend your money. I believe a way to solve that problem is to change your outlook to life generally. You don't become rich by saving, you become rich by making the money you saved works for you. |

chukzyfcbb: due to the extreme heat ravaging the northern part of Nigeria, the lands there are fast turning to desert. lands are becoming dry, moisture content in the soil becoming inadequate to harbour plant and their yields. There is what is called irrigation to take care of the extreme heat, dry soil and moisture content. And for encroachment of the desert, I expect the federal government to have embarked on several Afforestation programs by now |

Am I the only one on Nairaland tired of this Name checking bullshiit Anybody that has a functioning encephalon should know that if a crime is reported in Osun state, the probability that it will be a Yoruba person is 90% or more, likewise if a crime is reported in Imo state, the probability that the person will be Igbo is 90% or more. The same goes for crime reported in any other state in Nigeria, the perpetrator is likely to be member of the majority tribe of the state.
