In the abscence of that, we can only guess the integrity of the structure except there is a visible indication of failure of the structure or better still carry out NDT and holistic structural health assessment.

Though I'm not a civil engineer, but as an individual, it looks bizzare to me for hundreds of people to stand on a pedestrian bridge that surely wasn't design for that purpose. If I'm in position of power, I won't allow so much people to be on the bridge at the same time just like I won't allow up to 80 people to stand on my balcony. That being said, we know the maintenance culture of Nigerians, and the fact that the said structural health assessment and Non Destructive Testing won't be done to curb unforseeable collapse. In order to avoid such disaster, why can't we provide an alternative.

What a lot don't know about davido and his family business is that behind all the gra gra and bling bling is a well structured and oiled, legit and properly managed money making machine. I am sure a lot don't know that the adeleke's own about 30percent of the freehold land in Banana Island.

I'm not saying he spent it on drinks and I know very well that Davido Grandpa was the brain behind Banana Island, and their wealth is clean and legit. But my question is, why do well meaning black people derive so much joy in displaying their wealth when their are almost a billion black people living in abject poverty? As a matter of fact, the black race is the most impoverished race in the world. Don't get me wrong, I know Davido is just a young man living his life and his father is polar opposite to him when it comes to showing off. However, that doesn't take away the fact that we black people show off way too much and lack empathy for the needy ones among us. The same lack of empathy and showmanship is what our leaders have that makes many of them embezzle billions of naira while 80% of the population live under $1 per day.

This is my problem with my fellow Christian brethren. They know how to twist and modify the verses to suit what they want you to believe. As you all can see, most of the bible verses are from old testament, and the few one in the new testament talks about grace and not tithing. I have said and I will say it again, tithing is a Jewish tradition where landed tribes (other eleven tribes of Israel) gave part of their income to the Levites and Kohanim (the tribe that keep the tabernacle and the priests). Unless a pastor shows me he has lineage to the levites, ain't paying no tithes

Modified: Lemme elaborate a little on the Levites and their role in Jewish tradition. You see, when Joshua led the Israelites into the land of Canaan, the levites (who are the descedants of Levi the 3rd son of Jacob) were the only Israelite tribe among all the 12 tribes of Israel that were not allowed to be landowners because the Lord God of Israel Himself is their inheritance. These Levites kept the temple, and do absolute nothing else than give service to Yahweh. In order for the Levites to survive, the other 11 tribes that were landowners give portion of their income to the Levites. As you can see there is a huge difference between the Levites and our modern day pastors
