Do you know what's really traditional wickedness? Osu caste system where all men are not born equally. And people born into this Osu family are living sacrifices that are stigmatised and ostracized by the society for the rest of their life. There are other numerous abominable traditions in Igboland that I will keep for now because of sensible Igbos I know.

The marsh area of Lagos eg. Makoko are comfortably inhabited by Igbos selling Galas, pure water etc. in traffic. They are the only ones that can live comfortably around garbage just like they do in Onitsha and other Igbo cities. That's why I giggle when i see these chestbeaters claim to own property in Lagos

You need a detailed diagnosis on what is the cause of your miscarriages. Miscarriages can be due to many factors including hormonal problems, disease, immune system responses, infection, uterine abnormalities etc. If you have the resources, I will advice you to see an expert in or outside the country if possible that will structure out a plan on what and what not to do after conception. If one of the awardee decided to reside in any country of his choice, do you think such country won't be willing to offer him residency. Like I said when people where daring prof to leave after Trump was elected, I said if prof wants, it will just take him some hours drive to enter Canada. With all certainty, Canadian government will give him permanent resident in less than 6 months. Soyinka is not just some unknown moniker like you on Nairaland, he is the only black African nobel laureate in literature and one of the most respected black face in the world.
