Stop going off point nobody is talking about a regional Commonwealth we are talking of development in the villages in your states and region and for your notice non of the pictures I posted is a government property. so Ifeanyi Uba and Obijackson are now government properties, dude you are ignorant simply admit it and save yourself the disgrace. You started the picture war after accepting my challenge now you don't want to derail the thread, dude stick to the purpose of this argument.
You said 1 picture for a thousand pix, I showed you 4 pix from just a town, so I'm expecting 4 thousands from you grin, mind you the richest man in Igboland is not in Top 5 in Yoruba. If I start loading pix you will run

Dude I'm still expecting your thousands pix. All what you're showing are stadium, hotels, hospitals and government property. No need to derail this thread with pix. Stop posting random pictures of beautiful houses in Yoruba land and don't forget to put a tag on your pictures. My bad, nigga are you showing me government properties ?
Which one is Ooni palace there? Like I said, you're ignorant. You guys are just bunch of noise makers. There is absolute nothing you can show in Southeast that you won't see 10 times better in Southwest. And to answer your question those buildings are private owned properties in Ijebu-ode

trash show me the development in your villages in Yoruba land and I will show you thousands in Anambra alone. I don't write long fallacious claims but I back it up with facts and pictures. so I'm waiting
I laugh at your Ignorance. You guys build one high rise in 2016 on a red soil land and won't let someone hear words. Can't you see how dirty and dusty the environment this building is built is? I give you 3 years, this building will become an eyesore. FYI, high rise has been built in Yorubaland as far back as 1960s.
Since you challenged me to come up with pictures of development from my town (mind you I don't come from a village). I will show you some Yoruba wealth and development from my hometown, and I challenge to show me thousands from Anambra

One you are ashamed of your village and second the villages in Anambra are not as poor and hungry like that of your region.
I know your type, saying things with no reason. Now tell me what is the source of income of this people. Arguably, people living in villages and towns in Igboland are the most impoverished in southern Nigerian. It's in an Igbo town I saw a family of 5 surviving on foraging and less than N20 a day in 2007. I lived in Igboland for 2 years, I saw a lot of things, people are living in extreme abject poverty. Now tell me who will afford this hospital unless the owner built it for charity purpose
Now talking about my town, there is a multinational company that employed thousands of people. An average young man that's not lazy can do a labour job and make nothing less than 50K in a month. Apart from the company, there are cash crops that people make hundred of thousands from in every harvest. An average Yoruba family is faring well, though they might not be as loud as you people

And besides, I don't shout that Lagos is no man's land, if you check my posts I never subscribe to that, but you guys have to accept it that indeed, an Igbo/Warri/Aboki boy who was born and raised in Lagos is very much Lagosisn as A Yoruba boy from Osun/Ekiti/Ogun born in Lagos too
I agree on that. So far you are born in Lagos, and grew up in Lagos, you are a Lagosian. The issue is some Igbos make annoying comments like Lagos is no man's land or they owe majority of the property in Lagos. Do you know that the popular Oshodi family are from Nupe? And do you know that the popular Eyo festival is from Iperu in Ogun state? Lagos is cosmopolitan and it has been that way for a long time. However, respect indigenous people like the Aworis, Ijebus and Eguns.

And who told you an Ikorodu man is not a lagosian? The point he was trying to pass to you is that Lagos is a Yoruba land governed by Yoruba people shikena.

U are making a blind argument n dats the reason I should stop quoting u. I have traversed Ekiti Osun Ondo and Ibadan and I was realy shocked at the level of deteroriation in those places. When u people shout DEVELOPEMENT I usually get confused. I once drove close to 10km in Ekiti n never got to see even ur normal brown roof all I saw was thatch n mud!!!!! I had to reverse and run for my dear life. There is absolutely nothing in the west except u are including Lagos as Yorubaland.
Where in Yorubaland did you see thatched roof? I challenge to drive go there and take a pix and show us. But do you know where I saw thatched roof in Alaigbo, everywhere else except the cities and major towns
TravelRe: New Great Shorts Of Eko-atlantic by slurryeye: 8:52pm On Dec 21, 2016
I stayed in southeast for a while, guess what I saw? Their capital city is a little developed as any capital city in Nigerian state except Abakaliki that's like a town. But once you step out of the capital city, all what you'll see are thatched roof buildings, brown roof buildings and a few modern buildings except in commercial cities like Onitsha, Aba. That's why I laugh at these mofos when they call Yoruba brown roof. Not only do they have brown roofs in their towns and villages, they also have thatched roof

You are shouting developement maybe Osun, Ibadan or Ekiti is developed. Change ur brown ROOF first. Zombie
Tell me any Igbo state that's more industrialized than Ogun with facts

Ogun Industrial estates and companies

Agbara Industrial estate: Nestle, P&G, Pharmadeko, Unilever, Glaxosmithkline, Beta glass, Evans medical etc.

Ota Industrial estate: Apex paint, Geepee industries limited, royal packaging, Nampak Nigeria etc.

There are other industrial estate in Ifo, Isheri and Sagamu with numerous multinational and local industries.

Apart from Lagos, Ogun state is the most industrious state in Nigeria hands down. All the 5 Alaigbo states combined are not as industrialized as Ogun state

People like you are just noise maker that talk with their asses. My fear for well meaning Igbos in Lagos is that people like you could make some Yoruba to be discriminating against them. You're talking of possibility Igbo coming to Lagos to rule Yoruba, but do you know that the first mayor of Enugu is a Fulani man called Mallam Umaru Altine. You don't know history and you talk without reasoning

History of Lagos
Lagos was settled at various times by hunters and fishermen from the Àwórì sub-nationality. Originally based in Iseri on the Ògùn River about 20 miles from the island, the initial wave of settlers led by Arómiré (the one that becomes personable at the sight of a river), established a presence in Ìddó and Èbúté Métta. Arómiré also grew vegetables, especially pepper, on a site where Iga Ìdúngànràn, the palace or official residence of the Oba of Lagos now stands. Iga Ìdúngànràn is an Àwórì term meaning house on pepper farm. The palace is thus not only an important symbol of the historical traditions of Lagos; its name also helps keep alive the site's association with vegetable farming by Arómiré, the city's first settler.
From these bases the Àwórì settlers moved further south, towards the creeks and the sea. One major reason why they moved was because their increasing population created the need for more space. Another was safety and security. Yorùbáland, of which Lagos was a part, had become embroiled in the long-running wars involving ethnic groups, communities, chiefdoms, kingdoms, and other political units of the time

Lagos is NO MANS LAND believe u me 99% of Afonjas cannot own a property in that place. Lagos remains a multi-ethnique society. There is nothing like aborigines in Lagos evry one hia is a settler!!!!!!! The only thing is that the Afonjas share boundery with Lagos. That explains why former n present gorvernos of Lagos state are 4rm Afonja neighbouring states.

Modified: the spate of developement in the area is commendable.
Osu, who replaced your brain with sh.it? No need to enlighten a sh.it brain because it will be waste of time. else, I would have given you the history of how Aworis that are riverine yorubas inhabits Lagos for thousands of years
