One of the students gives an example of Lagos and claims that the reason why there are power blackouts in Lagos is because of Neocolonialism. But the girls differ. What do you think?

THe Ugandan Army has launched a brand of condoms to be used by its soldiers. The Condoms dubbed "Ulinzi" (Meaning protect/defense in Swahili) Bears the tag-line "Usiende Nyama kwa Nyama" (Meaning don't go meat-to-meat in Swahili.) Interestingly Swahili is Not Uganda's national language but is the National language of Kenya and Tanzania. It is however a military language in Uganda.

As reported by Uganda's NTV news, Brig Leopold Kyanda the Uganda's land forces chief of staff argues that "for an individual soldier to defend his country, he needs to ensure that he is safe", as such the agitation to provide the soldiers with condoms. Vastha Kibirige from the ministry of health believed that 'having Ulinzi condoms in camouflaged packs should help soldiers stop bringing HIV home after a tour in line of duty.'

She told Uganda's NTV news that the soldiers nature of work is challenging as they at times meet women for pleasure while on the warzone. "They have to protect their lives to avoid infecting their wives back home," said Kibirige. This comes as earlier reports indicate that the prevalence of HIV was high among Uganda's troop. The BBC News reported: "In the past, the country's army was known to have a high infection rate." According to United Nations HIV/AIDS organization (UNAids), 'the Ugandans use condoms just over half the time when they engage in apparent high-risk sex. And, estimates the deaths from Aids-related illnesses to be 26,000 in 2017"?

9ja men may have their flaws but they hit on ladies with confidence. There are some beauties out there who intimidate guys. But 9ja nor get time. They hit.

Most 9ja men are very generous especially if they have. Because they have very financially demanding women back home. After the "9ja women school" they have to be generous compared with other African men.

Nigerians guys abroad also hustle hard. A few do so the wrong way (which typically makes headlines) but that hustling spirit makes local men in foreign African countries look like slackers.

Women like people who can take control of their own lives wherever they may be. Like them or loath them, 9ja men fit that bill.

It is not generosity. It is stupidity. Why do you feel the need to pay a woman to be your girlfriend? Does it mean that she is not benefiting from relating to you as a person? Or is it just a feeling of inferiority/insecurity that without money you are worthless?

Immigration Department says its officers have arrested 15 Chinese nationals for allegedly engaging in prostitution in Nairobi.

Nineteen Nigerians have been arrested in a swoop in Umoja, Kasarani and Roysambu estates in Nairobi over suspected internet scam targeting Kenyan Facebook users.

Detectives said the scam starts with a simple Facebook friend request. After a target accepts the seemingly harmless request, the fraudsters then initiate a friendly chat promising the victim goodies to be sent through DHL at the airport.

The following day or thereafter the victim receives a call from someone pretending to be an attendant at the DHL office asking for payment of clearance fees for the promised parcel.

If a target sends the money through M-Pesa, another call is made requesting for another payment for other documentation and taxes. Once the payments are done, the fraudsters never pick their victims calls again.

Following the swoop on Saturday morning, detectives did not reveal the charges set to be levelled against the suspects and how much money Kenyans have lost in the social media scam.

There's nothing wrong in that. It is their collective responsibility as couple. But come to think of it, building a house takes some time, and the man did not deem it fit to ask for the documents. This also shows that he did not even see the building plan because the details of the owners would have been discovered, except if he is being economical with the truth.

In my own view, the man is one of those men who doesn't like it when their women are ahead of them. It also means he was not involved with the project because it was the wife that championed it. To crown it all, I see inferiority complex.

The man did not care so much of those things because:

1 The dad was sick and it drained him.
2. He trusted that his wife would make a wise decision. The man didn't even bother to check the title of the land: that shows you how trusting he was. The woman is not trustworthy.

Tanzania's national language is Swahili. Primary education - to standard 7 is taught in Swahili. When a commission of inquiry is set up, the document is in Swahili. Parliament sessions are in Swahili. There is nothing good about Negerian English. and writing a complete sentence in English is really nothing to boats about. Slavish mentality.

As a Kenyan man who has read of Nigerians boasting that they take "our" women, I must say that this is spot on. Nigerian men tend to pay women for simply being their girlfriends. Even here, you'll find men talking of sending airtime and money to girlfriends like it is an obligation. It seems your women have trained you very badly.

In Kenya, people who give money to women are generally those that are in Secret relationships, or mistresses. Men don't give money to their age-mate girlfriend. Nigerian men need to wake up
