Nigerian women like grace preaching pass everyone else on this planet. It allows them deceive and commit the worst atrocities on earth, while feeling holy. After dem clean ya*sh, dem go pray, claim repentance, matter finish, abi? I've seen this M.O. too many times, and I've seen the horrible, lasting damage it causes lives, when wrongdoers, feel instantly absolved of all responsibility for their current (and thus future) actions, because they're more immersed in our scam-artist religious culture, than common sense and civility. She travelled from school for this. That takes effort, so this is not a one-time behaviour. She will continue this lifestyle in full force, and preach scripture language to herself and others each time to feel good. More lives will be hurt by this girl, and no improvement in behaviour will result - because she has a standby self-soothing hypnosis routine with notes of "Thank u Jesus". May the whole universe repeatedly punish all people who think like this. |

Olumaeme:Hmmm. This is so true ooo. The funny thing is that some of us will know this, or will read this and still make an exception when the time comes, thinking "no, this babe na special...". Guys, HELL is sweeter than living with a woman you did not research. You will lose everything. |
Realdeals:You got it right. Confident illiteracy is at a cosmic level in our country. The man is giving a report of what has been done so far (something most African leaders never do), showing clear improvements over the status quo and confirmed expectations - IN 3 MINISTRIES!!! He is not claiming to have solved all our problems in one year. Instead of people doing some research to commend or critique the data they are here crying that they don't have light. Snowflake generation. Their mindless feedback is enough to drive potentially good leaders to just give up and join the thieving horde - since no one will notice anyway. |
Instead of teaching his son how to value and make money. This black man will indoctrinate his child from scratch in the culture of wastage. ... and other black people will hail him because "money is good". |
austinbrown:Gbam! Word for word correct. |
Only illiterates, who are too lazy to read or learn anything at all, would try pulling off a robbery in Dubai. Do they think the crime rate is low by accident? Or did they think that of all the crime syndicates in this world, their machete-wielding selves were specially blessed to have discovered a virgin ultra high income mumu territory just waiting for only them? Dubai shopkeepers will always cooperate with lost souls like these almost pitifully, knowing fully well that within 1 hour they'll be caught. Olodo Odes. |
Women can like to sit down and write their intergalactic fantasy, ehh... Sotaaaay the jist come get too much maggi and salt. |
The amount of skills in this crime is enough to make a movie. Why not put all that brain to something positive? |
KingsCity:This is the simple maths that our leaders, have not asked themselves seriously - despite the improving economics of solar every year, even in countries that hardly see the sun face-to-face. Let us continue looking for nuclear and all manner of grandiose alternatives -- until the Indians and Chinese harvest our sunlight, and sell back to us. |
By answering no, yes, no, most women display their natural unfairness. It is okay for women to enjoy something in 2, but bad if the guy wants the exact same thing in 1 and 3. Una try. |
Ha ha. Dem no go ever talk true. Among other things, Naija men don dey chop their women without competition. Indian chic once tell me say average Indian guy na 3 inches. Confirmed from online stats too. Nothing else will make an elderly man so infuriated like this. |
Velocitron:If all you say is for real, then you are one solid girl, rare as a unicorn these days. May God keep you on this path, you will bless someone one day my dear. |
OP, I have checked for all the elements of disaster in your post: - The lying, the sneaking, the hustling small change when you're about to marry, the temerity of raking for you for checking her phone when you're discussing a greater evil, the coming back to "apologize" (my yellow arzz), the spiritualist who "sees" for her (and takes a few favours) -- all the well scripted components of a future hell-on-earth are present in this your story. If you like yourself, your life, your parents and that your destiny that you're building so hard... Begin to RUN right now, else in a few years you will look back, wish and pray for a return to this day. Take the words of one who has seen similar. |
He asked for retweets for GEJ and favs for GMB which gives the incumbent a serious advantage, while enabling quick death of the poll if against incumbent. He had said it the other way round that poll would have gone round Nigeria and diaspora by now. |
Selma is a movie long talked about in various online media, featuring a duo of our Nigerian root actors David Oyelowo and Carmen Ejogo. Apparently the movie finally opened just today, and has earned an unusual 100% same day, on the rotten tomatoes scale. This is the first time I've ever seen such a rating for any movie at all, and the quality of our diaspora actors makes me proud to be Nigerian. Story below: The much anticipated Christmas day launch Hollywood movie "Selma" starring David Oyelowo and Carmen Ejogo has opened to limited release today, to rapturous reception, scoring an incredible 100% on the dreaded Rotten Tomatoes' ratings! Selma is an American history drama, written by Paul Webb and directed by Ava DuVerna. It stars David Oyelowo as Martin Luther King jr, Carmen Ejogo as Coretta Scott King and Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon Johnson. It is based on the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches, led by James Bevel, Hosea Williams, Martin Luther King, Jr. and John Lewis. http://www.star1960.com/movies-tv/david-oyelowo-carmen-ejogos-selma-hits-the-incredible-100-critics-score/ |
Over 30 years ago, Uma Ukpai founded the miracle prosperity teaching that has landed our country where we are today. Is he now trying to ruin us for good? |
Lol. Our Govt has inadvertently given this book all the controversy it needs to become Africa's biggest all-time best-seller. A book banned from import ke? That is CNN headline material! Meanwhile, NOW I'm interested. A friend who read a small part from Linda Ikeji's blog said the revelations were earth-shaking. Will definitely buy the e-copy, if Baba's publishers make that available. |
romkey:It is advice like this that puts ALL women in trouble. If you try this break dance, ALL the 5 suitors will find out and downgrade you from marriage material to play-play material (unless they are low-IQ, laggards). You think that when a man is ready to MARRY, he doesn't check out his market? OP if you try it: you will still come here to post your experience. Before I married 6 years ago, I encountered plenty of this "mature game" types wey believe say dem sharp pass their degree. I actually had secret meetings and made plans with some of the other suitors (Siddon there, una wey get sense pass). Believe me, you don't want to risk being in the middle of that. Infact at least 3 of those girls that I still hear about never marry reach today. |
There is no blanket solution to this, because the reasons why men delay are many. Some are plausible reasons, some are delinquent reasons. Have you tried to find out why your man is delaying? That is the key to your whole solution. Try to find out, not with the aim of interrogation or responding with an immediate solution for him, but with the aim of actually helping him open up on the root cause of his hesitation, worry or even fear. If you TRUELY love this guy, then it's worth it to see if his reason is something you can understand, empathize and even be supportive on. If his reasons are reasonable, then you should begin now to practice your future wifely task of understanding and SUPPORTING your man. This is actually the kind of vibe that make men accelerate on marriage. |
A good wife |
Your advertiser friend should stay offline where he belongs: Both businesses run on different advertising and demographics models. One (Ikeji) relies on flashy PR, gossip, and "bottom power" thus achieves quicker growth but limited returns, the other (NL) relies on masses interests and problems and even though it has slower organic financial growth, its potential is unlimited. 1. Homepage: The flashy homepage only impresses online dinosaurs like your ad friend, and similar internet-ingnoramus moneybag advertisers. if homepage flashiness were the issue, GOOGLE would be the poorest online business in the world. 2. Truely NL caters for a lower income group. But this income group makes up 99% of the market being addressed. With time, the sheer size of this group will become productive for NL. (No details shared, sorry). 3 Face: Face ke? Oga advert boss, who is the face of mastercard? or interswitch? Let me not even start on this.... 4. "Trashy topics": Among these topics you will find those that are IMPORTANT to the masses, and those topics are gradually developing your so called poor 99% into a higher quality 99%. In short, NL is the medium that truely holds Nigeria. People in offline businesses should get some education on the topic before rendering oppinion. One blogger's personal PR should not be used as a yardstick to analyze online businesses, abeg. |
I'm glad some Nigerians are thinking of popularizing this topic, and I'm also glad many Nigerians on this thread are responding with insightful experiences and analysis. Honestly, many people here have actually echoed thoughts that I've brooded on for several years now. The association and this thread forgot one key area though: Aside from the direct psychological and physical attacks, these types women are also champions in the use of 3rd parties to inflict these types of abuse on a male partner. Infact, this is arguably the MAJOR mode of their attacks. It is normal for these types of women to employ a sympathetic thug admirer, brother, sister, or even grossly rehashed submissions to legal authorities, to inflict physical or psychological trauma on their partners. My interest and opinion on this matter is not to criticize/defend any gender, but purely for solutions purposes. I believe that it is good that efforts like this grow until domestic violence be seen as something that can happen on BOTH sides equally, if it's not addressed this way, then overall cases will INCREASE. Why do I say so? A good portion of the domestic violence cases claim "self-defense" i.e; she slapped/hit/bit/jacked/etc me first. Currently, society and even hollywood glamorizes or comedizes a woman who slaps a man in reaction to a comment or to his displeasing her (without getting physical, I mean). Unfortunately as much as we wish so (and as can be read on this forum) in real life not all men can fold their arms or "walk away" when this happens. So if women could learn that it's EQUALLY bad (and even dangerous) to hit men, or jack/taunt them into a fight, the total cases of domestic violence by both men and women will indeed REDUCE. I believe that the pro-women groups should join in championing this cause. However, right now unfortunately they are spending resources in worldwide effort to convince/threaten men to ignore their self-preservatory instinct, [s]and profiting from the sorrows of couples when that fails[/s]. Infact, it's been argued that current popular pro-women teaching indirectly drives up the numbers of these cases. Meanwhile @dotmanz I may know you. I was in the same tkd organisation, in the same school, at the same time. Feel free to PM me. God bless. |
Under normal circumstances, I like Zainab, and really don't like DKB too much. But this time DKB did a brilliant job of controlling himself initially. 1. He first approached her with a very calm tone while she kept mouthing off disparagingly at him. 2. Even when she stepped to his face to dare him, he pushed her away (not the best, but still managable considering what his adrenalin levels must have been by then). 3. (The wahala): As DKB pushed her, SHE SLAPPED HIM first with her left hand (check the video closely). Now, I don't support getting violent with women, but if a women decides she's able to hit a man, she needs to learn that the ability to hit must go with the ability to receive (Since obviously, her parents have failed to teach her the dangers of such...). It's not bullying, it's DISCIPLINING. (And I will argue this before any women's rights panel on the planet). |
It is truely a sad day when you look in your corner, and find that the person defending your matter is --- MUGABE!!! |
So Linda thinks it's smart for a CEO to source investors one day and display the ability to demolish billions the next day? Someone should tell that poor girl that REAL economies are not run like her familiar territory -- Nigerian senators' after-parties... |
RIM has been dying for about 2 years now. It's only in African countries where the consumer base are ill-informed (about what makes a good tech product) that they've maintained sales. 1. They lost market share in the developed markets waaay back to the iPhone and Android platforms, among others. 2. They short-sightedly restricted their only addictive product BBM to blackberry hardware only (instead of opening it to other phones -- kind of the way itunes cross-platform popularity helped boost Apple's overall growth). 3. They are not an innovation-driven company. No constant excitement from their products, or in the news. 4. Their share value lost about 70%(!!!!) last year. Those are bankruptcy levels. Rumors of selling the company has been around since then, and their CEO confirmed this week they would consider that option. I never saw any tech benefits to blackberry (except BBM, which wasn't enuff though to pull me from my brand), so I never owned one. My current Nokia E6 knocks 'em dead, and the Nokia/Microsoft Lumia I'm getting next, buries them, (while also meeting my business needs, like running my enterprise Windows Apps on the go...). (Una "happening" people wey dey pose with BB, carry on ooo.) |
ojuejo:I believe it gives others hope that there is real money in FX, and encourages them to study harder. Personally from season 2 of this thread till date, I've improved my trading tremendously, by watching consistent profit posters on this thread, using my charts to weed out the real ones from the fake, and then researching further with my custom indicators. It's all about mutual encouragement. |
@ FOREXMART Ol boi this trading-point wey u recommend dey try wella o. Their execution speed na fire. I've never had it this good. I just dey hold am for bele since but this time I just have to talk. So far, I am thoroughly impressed. |
