You can use your existing VISA for giving birth, so far you have the money and you have correspondence with a doctor In the US. You just have to be confident during the interview at the point of entry.
Applying for a new VÏSA will automatically cancel the existing one you have.
Try and read previous trends you will see people that have use their VÏSA other than the reason for previous visit.
All these people want to see is that you return back home and pay your bills and have your receipt. Your job back home matters to the VO. Just the truth is what they want to hear.

Not always the case. I have gone for an interview with a visa I used for a business meeting. When I discovered I was pregnant, went for interview and the VO said I should go ahead and use existing visa since it was still valid; they would note my intention on their system. Also, he kept my receipt open so I could use for next renewal.

Hi, you have to understand that each applications will be treated according to it's merit. Immediately you apply for another visa to declare your intention to give birth, your pre existing visa will be cancel without prejudice. The VO officer will decide either to issue you the visa for the purpose of giving birth or not. You may be issue the visa and you may be denied based on how you can convince the VO. If your new visa application is denied, you can't use the pre existing visa anymore because it would be cancel immediately you put in for new visa application.
You will surely be call for interview because you are


seeking visa for another purpose, so it's better to book for interview if you want to apply to declare your intention to give birth when you already have a valid visa not issued for the purpose to give birth.
As I said earlier, yes such person may be denied. It depends on how you can defend yourself during the interview.
The only legal way is to apply for new visa and declare your intention to give birth. Best of luck.

The color of refusal papers are not cast in stone. The embassy can and have printed on several colors. The only thing one needs us to READ THE CONTENTS.

good afternoon everyone. a friend of my told me she just finished her interview now and she received a white paper, i was congratulating her and she said they denied her and i was shocked. everybody that got there visa said they got a white paper and am also praying for that not until i heard it from her. please can someone clarify that because my interview is coming November 22. is it possible to receive a white paper and be denied?

Honestly, I also noticed this. Initially I thought that maybe they ran out of blue papers. Infact, I think I saw someones whose visa was approved but got blue paper. I was really confused that day. Maybe na colour blindness sha.

Thank you Yes o. I read and asked questions when I needed clarification and I put all the tips I learnt to use.

We got to the consulate around past 6am. Omo, the crowd and queuing no be here. I thought it would get better once we are inside the interview room but no, same crowd and queue. My kids were making alot of noise and generally being difficult to control but me and hubby had to smile through it all, calmly and lovingly calling them to other, but for where? Plus I was on heels. I was just praying for a miracle and it came. They had to consider us because of the kids and told us to join 3 people standing before window 3. Once there. I took time to note the outcome of their interview, all 3 plus the one being interviewed when we joined the queue were denied. Ha, I was just calmly saying that our case is different. Fast-forward to our turn....

Us: Good morning ( with a smile)
Vo: Good morning. Takes our passport does some things.....
Vo: why huston?
Hubby: from our research, it's a cool and nice place. ( this must be tension coz I told him from research it's actually not as cold as some other parts of US so I lean in..... The vo smirked when I took over from my husband and nodded his head)
Me: Yea, it's a nice place and the weather seems to be not as cold as some other areas, we would also love to visit NASA space center, the children's museum.... But we would also love to go to Florida towards the end of our vacation so the kids can visit Disneyland. At this point, hubby had gone to get our kids who were running around so I proceeded to place them on top of the counter.
Vo: Sir Wat do you do
Hubby: Im the CEO of xyz
Vo: WATS your business all about
Hubby: explains very briefly
Vo: Madam Wat do you do
Me: Im a lawyer, the legal adviser to my husband's company ( touches hubby)

Hubby : yes. Severally to China but always on business. ( he didn't add the other countries he has been to and I don't know why. Maybe tension or coz they r all in his old passport which we didn't bring)

Me : no, just the two.

Vo starts typing.... The kids were running around again and I was turning my head looking for them while hubby dashes off to get them.

Na so we carry our kids, and our very precious white paper and left. All thanks to God, and to you all. I read and read and read this thread like someone that is preparing for bar finals . Shared what I learnt with hubby. Our interview wasn't more than 2 minutes. I went with everything, na only police report I no bring but absolutely nothing was asked for.

Please I have a question, why do people make their kids put on school uniform for the interview?
