RomanceRe: How Can I Stop Seeing My Ex In My Dreams? by Smooth278(m): 6:27am On Sep 29, 2014
Jayclinics: We broke up with each oda late last year. I must say that i was to be blaimed for our failed relationship, she showed me great love and up till now i cant figure out why i treated her the way i did. When I came back to my senses after our break up, i realised that she has being part of my life all this while. I tried so hard to repel back the urge to plead and ask her to come back into my life. But the feelings now was so heavy that i cant comprehend. Finally I tried to get back with her, i knew it wasnt gonna be easy after all dat happened between us, i became more eager after i started seeing her in my dreams very often (never f***ked her in my dreams) Just one love story and scene after scene. She wasnt the same girl i used to know before (what more do i expect) i know it was all my fault so i tried really harder. She will be hostile to me in some of our meetings and sometimes she will be as friendly as ever, as if we are dating again, and during those friendly times she will tell me how she do see me in her dreams too. She told me she doesn't believe in love any longer that our relationship cannot work again.

Finally, i decided to give up as i noticed that i usually felt uneasy and disturbed each time i remember her. I started searching for more serious ways to forget about her and move on with life. But Before i gave up, i decided to confront her very best female friend who happend to be one of my casual female friends so that she can help me out since talking to her is like pouring water on AN igneous rock. Unfortunately, the friend told me that i better back off, that she has got no feelings for me anymore.

The problem now is that, no matter any lady i try to date, at first things will move on smoothly and i forget everything about my ex but when ever she surfaces again in my dreams, takes some time shaa, things become so uneasy and uncomfortable for me. I will start thinking about her like i will die if she doesn't accept me back. She has also told me several times that she sees me too in her dreams. We kind of enjoy telling each oda abt the dreams. Like:

"Jay i dreamt abt u yesterday's nyt"
What happened in the dream?

then she will narrate the dream for me and i will narrate mine too.

What is wrong with me? or let me say, what is wrong with us?
I need some opinions on how i can stop dreaming abt her. I need to stop................

Foreign AffairsRe: Class Act By Gov Fashola: Hosts Survivors Of Ebola Virus Disease!!! by Smooth278(op): 2:15am On Sep 19, 2014
More from the link:

Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola, today September 18th, hosted some Ebola survivors at his office at the state Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja. Speaking with the survivors, the governor commended them for coming forward to share their experiences, saying that they are proof that the disease is not a death sentence.

The survivors in attendance included the widow of late Port Harcourt doctor, Dr Emenuo Kelechi (left), Dr Ibeawuchi Morris (second left), Dr Fadipe Akinniyi (centre), Mr. Dennis Akagha (late Nurse Justina Ejelonu's fiance) and Dr Adaora Igonoh. See more photos after the cut...

While sharing their experiences, one of the survivors and staff of First Consultant Hospital, Dr. Ibeabuchi Morris, said he was the first to receive late Sawyer at the hospital where he was first treated for Malaria.

He said after the patient continued to have high temperature, he took the blood sample and sent it to the laboratory, then contacted Dr. Stella Adadevoh who advised him to continue attending to the patient pending the arrival of the test result. He said when the blood result arrived it was confirmed that he was EVD positive. Sawyer died a few days later.

Dr. Ibeabuchi disclosed that he started manifesting symptoms of the disease 12 days later as his body temperature continued to rise beyond 38.5 degrees Celsius. He said when his condition continued to degenerate, he reported to the Lagos State Ministry of Health and was advised to restrict his contact with members of his family.

According to him, his body temperature got to an all time high of over 40 degrees at which point the Medical team from Lagos State came and took him to the isolation centre after decontaminating his house. He thanked the Lagos State Government and all the other agencies and individuals who took care of him and made it possible for him to survive.

Another survivor, Dr. Adaora Igonoh, thanked the Lagos State Governor and the Government for their dedication in the battle to contain the spread of the disease which, according to her, made it possible for some victims, including herself to survive the virus.

Dr. Igonoh, who is also a staff of First Consultants Hospital, commended the hospital and the staff for the risk they took to ensure that the disease did not spread beyond the limit it did. She also paid tribute to those who lost their lives, adding that without their sacrifice, the story would probably have been different.

Also giving his testimony, Mr. Dennis Akagha, fiancee to Justina Akagha, a nursing staff of First Consultants Hospital who died days after attending to Patrick Sawyer, said he got to hear about his fiancee's contact with Sawyer when the death of the Liberian was announced on television. She later told him she'd treated Sawyer.

He said when the symptoms of the disease started manifesting in Justina, they first thought it was pregnancy induced or Malaria because she'd told him she wore protective gloves while attending to Sawyer. He said that on the 14th day, Justina's condition worsened and he took her to First Consultants from where he was directed to the Isolation Centre in Yaba where she later passed on.

He disclosed that he did not immediately go to hospital when he started manifesting the symptoms until he started vomiting and feeling dehydrated. He said he was finally taken to the Isolation Centre where he was treated and discharged after he tested negative of the virus.

Other survivors who gave testimonies were Dr. Fadipe Akinniyi, also a staff of First Consultants Hospital and Dr. (Mrs.) Kelechi Emenuo, wife of late Dr. Emenuo, who treated one of Mr. Sawyer’s companions in Port Harcourt and later died of the disease.

PoliticsGovernor Fashola Called A Thief By Angry Activists!!! by Smooth278(op): 2:19pm On Nov 17, 2013
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola was greeted with series of embarrassing songs as he arrived home of late political activist, Baba Omojola after the his body arrived home for his lying-in-state at his family's residence in Surulre, Lagos State.

The governor arrived with his convoy unable to go into the premises due to presence of a van that contained speakers blaring comradely songs for the activists at the venue.

The van was used to obstruct movement of vehicles into the residence. Upon his arrival however, aides of the governor who wanted to take their convoy in ordered that the van be removed for the governor, but the activists insisted the governor must alight from own his car and walk into the premises like others did. One activist, Debo Adeniran, who coordinated the van said with sarcarsm, that the governor could call his LASTMA officials to tow the van out of the way.

Upon realizing the seriousness of the activists, Mr. Fashola stepped down from his car and walked into the premises.

But as Mr. Fashola inched towards the house, more activists who had learned of his arrival took the microphone to sing anti-oppressor government song. Some lines in their songs tagged the governor "Ole-ole", translating to the calling the governor a thief.

The activists also substituted imperative words into their chorus, asking Mr. Fashola to leave the event to avoid his further embarrassment.

It was not known whether the governor had intention to stay long enough to address participants, but he left soon as the chants by activists gained more tempo.

Asked why Mr. Fashola had to be rejected at the event, the activists told Saharareporters that the governor was only a hypocrite pretending to be familiar with the late Baba Omojola.

A comrade said: "You won't believe they (government) don't allow Baba into their office whenever he was there on pressing public issues that affect the masse. But now that Baba is dead, Fashola is now here to show fake familiarity"

Another activist said it was now common for politicians to take advantage of the death of Comrades to woo families and relations of the bereaved.

"They did same when Gani Fawehinmi died. They hated him when he was alive because he spoke bitter truth to them and also challenged them to court especially on fake Toronto certificate of Tinubu, but after his death, they began pretending they were best of friends with him and began creating park and programs to deceive the public", a civil society leader who was present during the incidence said.

"That has become their forte. They suppress voices of the masses but whenever a strong activist whose voice gave them nightmare dies, they rejoice by sponsoring his funeral", he added.

The Lagos State Government tarred the Chief Onitana Street where Baba Omojola lived as part of gestures for his funeral. During a brief chat with SaharaTV crew recently, son of Baba Omojola, Akinola Omojola commented that it takes a prominent person to die for Government to repair a road in Nigeria.

It would be recalled that Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Kayode Opeifa was also booed recently as he strayed into the night of tributes and socials in memory of Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

"They are all hypocrites and we will continue to embarrass them if they won't stop insulting us to our face by pretending they were friends with our gone heroes", a protester said

FrostyZonn: Whatever happened to praying for oneself and others through Christ our lord and saviour? It's a clear instruction laid out by Jesus himself in the New testament telling all Christians to pray to God through him. That's why protestants always start and end their prayers thus "in Jesus name", and "through Christ our lord." I had never heard such from a real Roman catholic, rather it's "Mary mother of God, intercede on our behalf..." etc.

Honoring Mary indeed...abeg, gimme a break!
all catholic prayers begin and end with "IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AMEN!!!" Even little school children know this which says something about you!!!
