1. I must say that school fee is cheap so it’s a good one. 2. Your agent is somehow right about the claim of applying to AL1 school to a bit boost your chance. 3. Yes, you can transfer once you get here but you’ll have to complete at least 6months of study with the school that brought you in (meaning you’ll have to study for at least a semester before they can release you, so forget about the money). On a personal advice, I’ll say take the shot. Note that you have your choices to make. Amahjosh: |
Yes, it was a daring and risky choice/method but was very prepared. I applied onshore but was surprised all email correspondence from the CO was South Africa. All messages I got were from different COs. And a point I stopped putting CO name in prayer . Lastly, I was issued a bridging visa the following day I submitted my application. But the status stated inactive and the condition stated I can continue studying till the outcome of the new visa application is out. By the way, I’m not a patient person but IMMI would surely humble anyone akinke: |
I would say NO please. What reason does your uncle’s friend have to sponsor your education with such amount of money. You would have to convince IMMI on that. The relationship is not strong at all. Kendocity4u: |

Kindly check the SOL list to see the potential PR discipline list. Also don’t sun for a 1yr course as it won’t qualify you for post study visa. Always aim for 2years and above. tourphland: |
Sadly it’s very hard to get full scholarship at masters level in Australia. The schools needs your funds. jmanity: |
1. Write a convincing SOP and you should be fine 2. It’s advisable you have it even if the school waived it. Immigration can be so unpredictable atimes and might ask. 3. Make sure you fill his name in your application As for your sponsor, provide all documents that’s shows your relationship to him and to your mom including pictures if you have. VickayThrills: |

You’ve done justice to it. I don’t think there’s any better way to respond. Wish you and everyone Success. braindamage: |
Sorry I’m not Abdulrahmon. I’ve got your mail 3 times and responded three times. You might want to check your spam/junk as well. thofunmie:

There are lots of factors to consider and I would advice consulting a good agent for proper guidance on that. I have a 29yrs old friend here that came in to start his BSc again after a BSc in Nigeria.

|
Hi, I’ve responded to your mail. thofunmie: |
Is your long term goal PR? If yes, with your 8.0 IELTS I would advice you explore the PR route. legionnaire: |
It’s not their fault and you can’t really blame them, they’re also trying to protect their visa processing success rate. Though immigration history matters but you can’t let that weigh you down. My answer is yes you can be granted a visa. I was denied US visa 5 times but I got my Australia visa at a try even though it took 6months to got the grant. fculek: |
Don’t take that risk of “I’ll join them later with invitation”. I would say you all should apply together. Yes, as a dependent, you can work unlimited time without restriction to support the family. It would be too much a burden on your wife studying, working and taking care of kids all alone. Believe me it might wear her down. I repeat, please and please don’t throw away the chance by applying together. She would greatly need your support. Dereformer: |
Yeah, just login to your IMMI account to check. https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login Id11111: |
You need to always read well and digest before commenting not just trying to find faults. Normally I don’t dwell much on stuffs like this but I identified your type as one who doesn’t give out information when people required one even though you claimed to be well informed but always feed on others comments to look for a glitch without digesting. I’m off on this. Happy new year in advance to you brother, I would still like to link up and enjoy the new year celebration with you. All bills on you ![]() tunlex01: |
1. I visits lots of websites daily for information. You can simply type your question on google and you’ll find the writeups from trusted migration websites. 2. I don’t comment based on them say. I do red lots of posts here but only take my time on the one I’ve experienced. I can give you the agent organization name. In fact if you the time luxury, you can message me to organize a visit then walk you down to their office in Parramatta ![]() By the way, I would appreciate a linkup. My IELTS academics expired in May, 2019. So if I can still use it for PR as you claimed I won’t mind coming to your place if you’re in Sydney. tunlex01: |
Calm down... They may ask for it if need be though but many didn’t even write one to be in Australia. I had one but my agent didn’t submitted it to both school and immigration with the claim that it’s not a requirement form my school. In fact, in my form, he ticked No for the use of English even though I had one with 7.0. And I know of more than 5 that finished their studies without one. But all in all, it’s good to have it should in case. ignis: |
Kindly read my comment again, then digest it, digest again and digest again then you’ll find the answer to your question within the lines. tunlex01: |
General is 3years while Academics is 2years. Also you can’t use IELTS Academics for PR, it have to be General. Live Scenario: My IELTS Academics expired in May, 2019 and I plan to change my school. The school I’m changing to required I write another one. I tried to explore the PR option but was required to write the IELTS General or PTE as IELTS Academics can’t be used. Note: You can use PTE Academics for both studies and PR but for IELTS, No. bligs:

For 485? Yes but it would have probably expired by then . For PR? No.... You can’t use IELTS academics for PR. You can use PTE though. bligs: |
Yes, let me know if you need an assistance. louis44rhema: |
To stand high chance from scholarship competitors, I would personally advice you have it. Anfieldboss: |
Garri, yam flour, grounded dried pepper, grounded crayfish, grounded melon, dried fish, maggi, dried locust beans. I think those are the basic things, every other things can be bought here easily. The listed foods can also be bought here but might be a bit expensive for new comers. Note: Avoid grains and liquids (it would be seized).

|
Congratulations in advance. Since you’ve been given full admission and applied for visa, that notifies your question. If English test is compulsory then you wouldn’t be given full admission until you meet the requirements. A response to that post have been given as well. It’s good to have it but it’s not compulsory. People go for it for different reasons. Once again, best of luck and God’s favour one your visa outcome. ignis: |
You have to check the requirements from the school. You can check on the school website or call the admission office ignis: |
It depends on schools, some schools allow direct application while some would direct you to their agents. As for schools that offers your course, I’m sorry you’ll have to do that on your own. The space is very wide and google is very friendly. Just copy and paste it exactly as you’ve typed it and you’ll be amazed with loads of results popping up. dextrino45: |
This is not so true. Your situation is different from others. Many got in without an English test and never attempted one till their post study visa application. Different situations warrant if you’ll write one or not. Even if you’re planning to change schools, you’ll still get some schools here without a need to write one. Though it’s good if you have it as it would keeps your options pool wider. Vincentosa: |
I don’t have the time luxury to go through the link but the answer to your question is yes. Many schools gives admission without IELTS. Ufodeking: |
