After all the criticisms, they still queued behind him to vote him against this same Buhari they are marketing to us.

1.) Why did the Yoruba party (AD) adopt OBJ as their presidential candidate in 2003 even after criticising him on the pages of newspapers?

2.) Why did Obj win in all the Yoruba states even though he was contesting against Mr Incorruptible Buhari?

You got it from back to front. Jonathan won those states in the presidential election and PDP lost those states in the subsequent governorship election.
The south west voted for ACN in the first national assembly election, voted for Jonathan in the presidential and returned to vote for ACN in the governorship and subsequent election.
I am now very ashamed to admit it now, but I was one of the people who voted for Jonathan in 2011, but honestly, Jonathan is the most incompetent, inept president this country has ever had.

My brother, this is why I said nada throughout yesterday when folks talked up their various choices for the APC ticket because I knew it would not even be close. I had already stated it here previously that Ambode would win and that he would win convincingly regardless of the strength of those facing him.

One thing a lot of people do not know and never account for is that Tinubu is a master at what happens before an election i.e planning and negotiating to win. this is where the man is head and shoulders above everyone else. When his candidate then emerges the winner people will begin talking of "one man show" and "imposition" without giving Tinubu credit for his very difficult behind-the-scene work he always puts 150% into.

The man is not a crude bully as many seem to think and he has a hand in majority of the positives the APC is witnessing including, as one example, the defection of Tambuwal and his eventual emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate of Sokoto. What is not known or made public about Tinubu is far, far more than interesting and pleasantly surprising than what people think they know of the man.

I think most people have not taken their time to study the TINUBU phenomenon as a result of intellectual laziness, spiteful hatred or envy.. for me, without the extreme political sagacity of jagaban, Nigeria would be a complete one-party democracy by now..The reason we have a strong viable opposition in this country today is because of this man.
The reason jonathanians hate him is because they know that TINUBU is a formidable political strategist who can turn the table with a flash of genius. Go and ask south west PDP !

In an election where the turnout is less than 22% of registered voters, you can not talk of any party or candidate being rejected for any reason.
The vast majority of the people just did not bother to come out to vote.
The issue is not whether APGA could have won or not, the issue is that the election was a complete sham and fraud.

Jega said that the APC rejected the electoral register used in the 2011 election cos they alleged it was doctored to favour a particular political party (APGA). The parties agreed to revalidate the register and the outcome was accepted by the parties before they went to the field. Those whose names were missing from the register, did not participate in the revalidation/clean- up of the register. How can a contestant in an election not be part of d exercise , if he is serious about his ambition?

Now, u ppl claim that Ngige's supporters were disenfranchised, that necessitated the supplementary election where he alleged his supporters were barred from voting. One expected Ngige to win convincingly at the supplementary elections but he performed abysmally. He pretended he boycotted the elections but his party's agents were on ground and represented him at the counting of votes. Infact, some of his supporters were caught rigging for him !

Don't u ppl think that this is a ploy by Ngige to hide the fact that he has become unpopular in Anambra elections from the APC leadership? Why do you think Annie Okonkwo ditched him early in the campaigns?


If the APC had given Chukwuma Soludo their ticket, he'd have garnered more votes than Ngige and given APGA sleepless nights. Ngige is an expired politician and his party is not acceptable to Ndi Anambra.

An election where a particular local government with the highest number of registered voters had 90% fraudulently disenfranchised.
An election where the total number that came out for the supplementary election was lower than the turnout for the main one.
