Sunnybobo3:Is Jonathan igbo? Is this the fulfillment of the igbos presidency aspiration? Forgive me if I do not understand your analogy. You seems to be comparing oranges to apple. |
emiye:The truth of the matter is that Jonathan's 2011 SS /SE figures for 2011 is nothing but a sham. There is nothing like 99 % turnout anywhere! In the last guber election in anambra state , the turnout was less than 30%.. |
stanech:And the market women and vulcanizers are enjoying a diffrent country from everyone else? Honestly it is not about the social media. The conclusion that Jonathan has failed is PERVERSIVE and cuts across every strata of society. |
BrosPeter:Are you saying father mbaka is a PAID SYNCOPHANTS? Are you saying BUHARI PAID MBAKA MORE MONEY THAN JONATHAN COULD? Can you not see that it will be very difficult to play the ethnic or religious card on this. When pastor kalejaiye, the regional pastor of the redeemed Christian church of God with hundreds of parishes under him preached precisely this same message some weeks ago, it was easier for you guys to play the ethnic card, but unfortunately father MBAKA IS IGBO and had earlier supported Jonathan. So why did he change his mind? Buhari gave him more money than Jonathan? |
FKO81:The bird, that depicts Jonathan refuses to fly even when a very spiritually powerful man like mbaka commands it to. Mbaka's BODY WANTS TO SUPPORT JONATHAN WHILE MBAKA'S SPIRIT KNOWS THAT LIKE SAUL, THE SPIRIT OF GOD HAS DEPARTED FROM THIS MAN. WHAT HAS HAPPENED IS THAT MBAKA'S SPIRIT TRIUMPHS OVER HIS BODY. if you are a Jonathan's supporter, and you sounded like one, PLEASE BE WORRIED FOR HIM. BE VERY WORRIED! |
It cannot be true. PRESIDENT JOMATHAN CANNOT BE SO DAFT! IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. |
tit:What completely idiotic comment. Like azikwe sold the ibos to the habeas in 1960 ncnc / NPC alliance. Like ojukwu sold the ibos to shagari in 1982 when he returned from exile. Like syvester igoh sold the ibos to Bashir tofa when he was his vice in the 1993 election. If political alliance is the same thing as selling out, the real BASTARDS have being doing it since independence. But then senseless , brainless comments have now become the hallmark of supporters of a sitting president with absolutely no record to show. Brainlessness in support of cluelessmess. MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN! |
Soloter:Welcome to the club of discovery!. But seriously something seems to have badly affected their thinking faculty. I don't what. I notice that they now think, and post like brainless IMBECILES. |
HzRF:What is happening? Honestly most of you PDP guys have suddenly become incoherent. I read your gibberish and it clearly shows you did not get it. What APC did in this response is to take the moral high road leaving PDP looking like the opposition party. It is a cruel irony of fate. THE OPPOSITION IS ACTING LIKE THE PARTY IN POWER WHILE THE PARTY IN POWER IS ACTING LIKE THE PARTY IN OPPOSITION!! |
Trailblazer1:I suppose also that it was prof Osinbajo that induced him to implicate himself over the murder of kudirat abiola and the attempted murder of ibru before the Oputa panel. It was shown on live tv and you can also download his testimony before the Optus panel on YouTube. But then in this season of grasping at straws, the word of a confessed murderer carries a lot of weight!! |
pendy79:Point of correction. The name is DR DOYIN BASTARD OKUPE. |
mikeansy:Arrant nonsense. First taking time to take a decision that is very important can never be a sign of incompetence. After all, it took TAN several billions of naira, thousands of advert slots, billboards and rallies to convince Jonathan to decide to run again!!! Seriously, by talking about APC internal affairs makes PDP looks cheap and insecure. Things like this is usually what opposition parties do. Not the ruling party. |
zilon12:You got it from back to front. Jonathan won those states in the presidential election and PDP lost those states in the subsequent governorship election. The south west voted for ACN in the first national assembly election, voted for Jonathan in the presidential and returned to vote for ACN in the governorship and subsequent election. I am now very ashamed to admit it now, but I was one of the people who voted for Jonathan in 2011, but honestly, Jonathan is the most incompetent, inept president this country has ever had. As for mimiko, I challenge him to take a random sample of 100 people from the south west and ask what they think of Jonathan. He will found out that 95 out of 100 ARE VIRULENTLY AND STRIDENTLY AGAINST JONATHAN. JONATHAN IS CLUELESS, CLASSLESS AND BRAINLESS. THIS MAN DISGUST ME. GOD FORGIVE ME FOR SOUNDING SO ANGRY!! |
queenna1:To me Osinbajo is the best choice for now. It is obvious that PDP will want to play the religious card, but a vp who is a redeemed pastor and a favourite asso ciate of pastor adeboye will be a big counter strategy. The truth is that without ethnic and religious sentiments, Jonathan will surely lose in a free and fair election. That is why if you observe the major strategy of the Jonathan's campaign is to appeal to ethnic and religious sentiments. An Osinbajo vp slot will be the BEST COUNTER STRATEGY. |
Tolexander:Rescue the empire from TINUBU and deliver to bode George! 806 accredited, 863 voted. Agbaje won fair and square!! |
Gbawe:I think most people have not taken their time to study the TINUBU phenomenon as a result of intellectual laziness, spiteful hatred or envy.. for me, without the extreme political sagacity of jagaban, Nigeria would be a complete one-party democracy by now..The reason we have a strong viable opposition in this country today is because of this man. The reason jonathanians hate him is because they know that TINUBU is a formidable political strategist who can turn the table with a flash of genius. Go and ask south west PDP ! For me, all the people I love like aregbesola and fashola were made by this man. TTINUBU's greatest strength is his ability to identify, develop quality people. Ambode is the latest in a very, very long list. |
Sheggy13:You have only dignified a mindless daft post with a well thought out response. I would have prefered that such post be totally ignored. You don't cast your pearls to swines! Remember what our lord said. |
haryhorku:Arrant nonsense. Apparently only TINUBU knows who qualifies to be a delegate, all the other candidates do not live in Nigeria, they only arrived in the country on the eve of the election! Any talk of imposition is total rubbish. It was a transparent democratic contest where the most popular candidate won. |
LordVarys: Apology accepted..........like I said earlier the PDP's strength lies in its ability to always perform above par in zones where it is weak. While winning in a landslide in its stronghold, you can hardly point to any election of recent where the PDP has polled below 35% but there are places in this country the APC can't go beyond 5%, ......in places like Ondo which should be an APC stronghold, the party came 3rd behind LP and PDP in the guber polls and had barely 10% of the votes in the recent bye election in Ilaje, in plateau even Dariye's LP is stronger than the APC.....compare with Osun where at worst the PDP will secure 35% or Oyo etc, the PDP has a national reach the APC can't even near and that's why it would continue to dominate at the federal level and in most statesThis is because for many years, PDP was virtually the only NATIONAL PARTY. if you understand the patronage system of Nigerian politics, you will agree with me that it is a miracle that PDP does not control ALL the state of the federation. Aside from Lagos-where TINUBU have consistently resisted the PDP juggernaut, tell me a state in Nigeria that PDP had not control at one time or the other? The coming of APC, if they overcome their teething problems, will eventually change the political map of Nigeria. |
Sincere9gerian: Dont mind them. Yet they tell us PDP is dead in the southwest. Atleast the PDP candidate in Osun did better than the incumbent APC governor of EkitiAre you guys conceeding defeat already? After sharing bags of rice and gallons of kerosine? After spending close to 15 billion for the governorship of a state you called inconsequential? ARE YOU ADMITTING ALREADY THAT YOUR GOD OF MORMON WILL NOT DELIVER OSUN LIKE IT DID EKITI? |
Jonathan is truely confused. He is never able to stick to a specific line of action for long. This is the worst attribute any manager or leader can have. |
HisRoyalHardnes: Does Nigeria appear like a county where an incumbent president can lose a general election?Does Nigeria appear as a country where a ruling party loses majority in the middle of parliament? Does Nigeria appear as a country where a ruling party loses five governors in one mighty swoop? Does Nigeria appear like a country where a former president of the country and former leader of a ruling party writes an open letter to a current president and current leader of a ruling party accusing him of corruption, venality, clannishness, incompetence, desperation and treachery? Does Nigeria appear as a country where a sitting president loses control of his wife, his party and the country and remains even more clueless going forward? VERY, VERY STRANGE THINGS ARE HAPPENNING IN THIS JOMATHAN PRESIDENCY. the Nigerian presidency is being bastardised by the most incompetent, clueless, weakest president we have ever had!! |
Adindu peter: Why are you guys obsessed with Anambra election??.. We the Anambrians has made our choice...The last time I checked, anambra is still a state in the federal republic of Nigeria. We are talking about anambra because the worst election in the history of nigeria just took place there. Always in the news for all the wrong reasons. As usual. |
Billyonaire: How can you say that ? So if APC won, the election wouldnt have been a sham ? I understand its painful when a party you support loses an election, but let me guess, you are in Lagos and sounding conviction about election in Anambra.I am not the one that says the election is a sham and a monumental fraud. All local and international observers and the entire Nigerian press unanimously came to the same conclusion. The anambra election was nothing but a monumental fraud and a sham. That is the fact. |
More than anything, the loose tongue of APC members and (unfounded) condescending attitude towards potential voters will be the party's undoing. So much for political sophistication!
You mean the 22% that voted in the election, out of which 50% voted for the APGA candidate would have voted otherwise if APC members -on NAIRALAND?-were not speaking loosely? Are you saying anambra people did not vote for APGA but voted against NGIGE because of what other people are saying? That is a curious way of choosing the governor of a state. I thought APGA won because OBI has done well in eight years and the very few people who turned out to vote did so because they wanted a continuity of APGA's good governance. Thanks for educating us. Anambrarians voted to spite their face by cutting their nose. Strange people. Curious way of thinking. |
Billyonaire: Fashola is RESPONSIBLE for the fall of APC and by fate, Ngige in Anambra by reason of UNCONSTITUTIONAL INTRA-NATIONAL DEPORTATION of Igbos.Interesting theory. The question is could NGIGE have won the election over APGA'S incumbency and Jonathan's conspiracy against his own party's candidate? In an election where the turnout is less than 22% of registered voters, you can not talk of any party or candidate being rejected for any reason. The vast majority of the people just did not bother to come out to vote. The issue is not whether APGA could have won or not, the issue is that the election was a complete sham and fraud. It is like a student who got an expo to an exam boasting he could have passed even if he did not see the questions before hand. |
20pounds: Thank God that you are not straying too far from the meat of the matter. That is why I will dignify you with a reply.I suppose that all the independent observers and the press were engaging in propaganda as well. All major newspapers concluded in their editorials that the anambra election is a complete sham were a quarter of the 22% that turned out for the election had their votes nullified! in the supplementary election , the voter turnout was less than 8%!! Of course, NGIGE asked his supporters to boycott the orchestrated sham. If the anambra people wants to show that they do not want NGIGE, how come the turnout is the lowest in the history of elections since 1999? APGA did not win clean and fair. SIMPLE. |
bestview: In 1998 Rochass contested governorship in Imo state with Udenwa, he couldn't even win defeat Udenwa in the primaries despite the fact that Udenwa was a new comer.Am not receding to party primaries. I see you ignored the question I posed. |
bestview: Why didn't rochass win when he was in PDP-ANPP-PDP-AA-PDP? He has been in all the parties in Nigeria but never won a comnon Councillor until APGA rescued him. The first and only election rochass won was through APGA. Stop this e-madness before I strike you with physical madness.Did he contest for governorship of imo state under the platform of those parties? the real question to ask is this. If APGA was so popular in imo state, how many state house assembly elections have they won in any previous election? Or was APGA formed just before the 2011 election? |
Idi Amin: Congrats to Obiano. I only wish Peter will be gone for good after his tenure. I don want any interference of his in govt affairs afterwards just like Tinubu...the unarmed robber they worship in the westHonestly I wish you guys will have a robber to worship in the south east if it will transform to the emergence of good accountable govts we are now experiencing in the south west. We swept the region clean of PDP and we are very glad we did. |
Sincere 9gerian: Congratulations to all Anambrarians for electing the RIGHT man for the job. Individually, Obiano is no doubt miles ahead of other major contenders. You are incredible!!! Congratulate the president for conducting a free and fair electionin anambra state? Guy. How low can you go and get in this disgusting JONATHINIAN SYCOPHANTIC BULL SHIT? I know you have completely lost all credibility except with your fellow jonathanians, but sometimes you surpass your own usually low standards! |
20pounds: Tinubu that you people are worshipping, is he any better; morally or intellectually, than Obiano? Why are you people crying more than the bereaved? Yorubas now love Ndigbo so much that you ppl want to dictate a leader for us?You are missing the point. APC presented a candidate in which the umpire itself came out openly to admit is flagrantly flawed. An election where all independent election observers unanimously declared as a SHAM. An election where only 22% of registered voters came out to vote of which 25% of those who came out to vote had their votes nullified. An election where a particular local government with the highest number of registered voters had 90% fraudulently disenfranchised. An election where the total number that came out for the supplementary election was lower than the turnout for the main one. It is not about region or tribe, it is about a monumental and disgraceful fraud perpetuated by Jonathan to help his political ally even at the detriment of his own party's candidate. Don't misunderstand me. APGA would probably have won this election if it was free and fair. Which to me is the real tragedy of this whole matter. OBI and Jonathan did not have to descend to the abysmal level of crass ethic baiting and monumental electoral fraud to win the election. But they did. |
