Hello,
Guys that travelled recently through MMIA, did you pay for any service there like packaging or wrapping. Did the officers there request for 'sorting'? I need to know how much naira to prepare for. Thanks

This thread reminds me of my time in the UK - studying full-time and working as a porter in Lang Stracht just to survive. I worked from Fridays to Sundays because there were no classes on Fridays. Although the restaurant I worked with offered more hours, I had to stick to the 20 hours PW term time quota because I was dead scared of flouting the visa rule and ending up in Lagos. I knew so many guys who did 40 hours PW and nothing happened to them, but mahn, I was a good lad grin To balance my account, I worked hyper during the holiday periods.

At the minimum, I earned 600 GBP PM, my rent in a single room shared apartment was around 210 GBP PM, living expenses was low because I always had food from work and I lived with a wonderful Nigerian lady who worked part-time as a chef. In all, I worked as a porter, a ticketing agent in a club, cashier, service at events and as a kitchen hand.

For me, it was back breaking work but it helped pay the remainder of my tuition, my monthly rent and bills, the money I sent home and the land I bought in Lagos. And against all odds, I still graduated with a first and with the class prize.

The story still plenty cheesy Shout outs to ABZ!
Monthly rent at 210. That's really good. And I'm looking for rent at 300 and still can't find

I'm a first time traveller. I just watched a YouTube video where the youtuber had a stop over at Doha (flight is Lagos to London). At Doha, she boarded a train to her next departure point at the same airport. The question is Do I pay for the train or it's free?

That statement means your “you must have been vaccinated and your vaccination must have elapsed 14 days, it is the same thing here in Germany, your vaccination is only valid after 14 days, it doesn’t mean only those vaccinated 14 days before departure
We are saying the same thing

Which of the banks in UK are the most suitable for international students (outside London e.g Chester) that are free of charge in terms of sending or receiving money?
You can use Payoneer (not a bank). I doubt there is any bank that will do transfer for free.
Are you going to University of Chester?

Guys in Scotland or planning to fly to Scotland, which test kit provider did you use? CTM is the only test kit provider I have seen so far for Scotland and is too expensive. £136 pounds is too much

1. Your best bet and fastest option - Take a drop around 500-700 Naira.
2. You can also consider Uber.
3. Cheapest:
Take 50/100 Naira taxi to Wuse Market, walk up toward the market gate or ask anyone where you can enter taxi to Maitama Along. Cost: 100-200 Naira. Your last stop is PHCN..opposite NCC beside Transcorp. Total 300 Naira max.

There you go.
Thank you o. Thank you. Option will work well
