I’m not using any agent, what I want to know is that is the admission process of private universities easier than public universities? Just like in Nigeria, private universities need your money... They will dash you admission... One private uni...have been disturbing my life with calls and emails since I made mistake to enquire about a course there but for public uni, you will be begging them to respond to your emails sef |

Can someone please tell me if there’s an advantage of private universities ( I mean paid school ) over free school . Which advantage? Those agents are already using your head to get money from you.. Government /Public universities in Germany have access to more funds and are more recognised that's why they are more difficult to get into... Germany is a develop country not Nigeria.. |

engrrozay: Greetings, Pls am quite new here and I want to apply for Msc in germany and I have some impending questions. 1. I graduated with a second class lower division in civil Engineering (2.55cgpa) what are my chances for Msc. 2. I have 5 years working experience can this be an additional advantage? 3. Can I apply for admission Without IELTS ? 4. what additional requirements do I need to make this a success? 5. am I late for applications to schools in February?
Ill be grateful if someone answers these questions.
Many Thanks Start reading from page one for your own good... Your cgpa is 2.8 on the German grading scale.. Most schools usually require 2.5 meaning yours is not up to the minimum requirement for most schools... But some schools will still take you if you add good job experience to your cv....And there are some schools without such restrictions... Use daad.de and make sure you package this your job experience to match the the course you are applying for, German schools like continuity... If you studied electrical I can help you with some good courses if otherwise just search on your own.. Invest time to search on Google too, there are several German schools in smaller cities that are not on daad.de |

I want to study analytical chemistry and quality control in the school above but one of their condition is you must be fluent 50 percent in German and 50 percent in English.
Any other suggestions on schools offering same course in english. I am not fast when it comes to learning languages
I browsed through DAAD no luck Use the search term "computational Chemistry" or computational science....then look through the course contents very well |

marshall54: You should provide an exemption from public health insurance even if you are above 30 yrs, i think it is also needed for documentation and all. What you should do is go to the international office in your school and get the contact details of the person who can issue you an exemption letter, contact the person and send the exemption notice to your school. don't worry they will assist you in sorting it out. I am till in Nigeria and I want to quickly, enrol by proxy because of visa delay |

styles2009: If you register for TK or AOK, you can only cancle after 3 months. So you can use AOK to process the school stuff and get visa, when you get here, straight up cancle it as it would run for 3 months before they accept your cancelation, there's no immediate cancelation. Before you do make sure your school and your foreign office accept mawista. TK told me I can't get public health insurance because I am above 30 years...I don't understand this kind of problem, give me exemption no response, register me you said I have passed the age... The whole thing just tire me |

0yewale: I am not sure they can do that for you without showing up physically. You can, however, search for the customer service email address of the one closest to your school and send them an email with your request and possibly with all your relevant documents. You might just be lucky. Now I have already registered for mawista and my school is still asking for exemption from statutory health insurance.... Is it possible to cancel my mavista immediately and register for TK or any other public health insurance without any problem... I need info before I mail mawista... |
Travel › Re: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by SOLARPOWER1(m): 6:46pm On Feb 03, 2020 |
0yewale: The 'automatically' here means, you are eligible for the exemption 'without any story' not that you are excluded or if you want to continue with statutory providers, they will reject you. Just go to the nearest AOK office and ask for the exemption letter. You might have to provide document(s) to show that you are over 30 or whatever document(s) they ask for nowadays. My problem is I am in still in Nigeria... I am trying to quickly run this enrolment from Nigeria so that it won't affect my visa because of the current delay at the embassy now. |
