lexy2014: U made certain claims & on d basis of those claims, I asked u questions. Everything u typed above in no way answered d questions I asked. So I ask again:
1. After voting for a candidate, how should candidates demand for accountability & good governance? 2. When did protests and civil disobedience become a crime and according to which statutes? 3. How is d "real power" in d state& national assemblies and not d presidency?" The only question I did not answer was your first Question because is confusing to me. How does a candidate demand for good governance and accountability? Thought a candidate stands for an election and hot elected. The other 2 questions are answered and there is no ambiguity in those answers, you need to read over and over again to comprehend |

Civil action's are part of people's rights as enshrined in the constitution buy NO RIGHT IS ABSOLUTE,NO FREEDOM IS TOTAL your freedom and rights starts where mines stops vice versa, there are people who are not cool with the way this EndSars protest pans out,it is fast becoming an insurrection and I can tell you such an action will bring out the DICTATOR in any government all over the world, even in United States where we think there is freedom, troops were deployed during Black lives matters to break of protest. Check the functions of each arms of government in Democracy it won't be difficult for you to know the Assemblies are far more powerful in democracy. unfortunately most of you expect the President to act in military style while in democracy |

MNDY: Amen.
The point I am trying to make is that many Nigerians are already suicidal from the hardship the government has brought upon Nigerians. Feeding is a daily battle for them. They are ready to fight till death to change the country.
Horrors of what happened in the past doesn't mean a thing to such people (whether they experienced it or not). They are ready to die because the hardship makes them not see what to really live for anymore. You did not witnessed it,You did not experience it,the hardships that followed the crisis made us understand that what we tagged as hardships before the crisis was even a child's play. People had no food to eat,the little supplies coming from the hinterlands wasn't enough, those who had few to it can't access kerosine to cook as it was the most widely used, that was what gave rise to Abacha stove (sawdust + firewood). Guy, forget it,if this crisis continue for a month,na una go beg government Walahi, you and I will be robbed of the little we have and so many people will die of robbery, rape and severe hunger than Bad governance and Police brutality |

And do you know that there are people ready to stake their lives as sacrifice and bear timeline of whatever just to end this faulty entity called Nigeria (if not for anything, for the sake of unborn generations ahead)?
Those countries you cited above had different nature of issues to deal with. Don't even mention Libya. Egypt and Sudan are healing. The bottomline of it all is: SOMETHING HAS TO HAPPEN. I can tell from your response that you are still under 30yrs of age and if perhaps you are over 30yrs then you are not a good student of History, especially Nigeria political and economic history. corpershun: Because their country sustains them. Do you know how the naira fluctuates Do you know the battle of electricity in Nigeria How many genuine billionaires do we have in Nigeria that didn’t make money from stealing from the government.
I still maintain my stand, Nigeria cannot be good cos internal factors wouldn’t allow.
Until we start sentencing corrupt politicians to death like China and maybe adopt communism like China but if we continue with democracy and corruption CBI will continue and it’s not CRAZY, it’s the alternative.
If you were in their position, you will do same. Do you know factories that are leaving the country The Lebanese And Indians coming here are very corrupt and are slave drivers. They also take all the money out. See Innoson motors and how his customers are from other African countries.
Tomorrow now if Innoson leaves, you will call him Crazy? Their country can only sustain them when the keep their wealth at home,if 100 people takes $150k each out of the economy in every year for 10yrs such an economy will be grounded couple with capital flights in form of importation. I have been on an international flights in more than 5x to UK,middle east and Africans countries and in most of my time those flights which are foreign airlines are filled up by Nigerians,do you know the cost of that to our aviation industry? Can you imagine the ripple effects if 150 fares of those leaving and coming goes to Arik or Medview? You don't build something on nothing, you build something on something. Are you aware how Dunlop and Michelin are struggling to come back to Nigeria because they realize the mistake they made by exiting the country? Do you know what Nigeria gave to China and India Annually for Tyre and Auto Batteries importation? Dude we can go on and on. I don't have issues with those who are stealing from the government coffers and keeping it here,I have issues with every idiots that stole and takes it abroad to safe keep,How can you warehouse millions of dollars and turn into idle cash and making Youths idle at the same time in the name of employment? One of the reasons I will always love the likes of Dangote,Adenuga,Otedola, Tinubu and those who keeps their money here to keep the economy running. Nigeria is not the only place people steal, the 2 and 3rd generation of Asians and Italian's stole big time from western world's, infact they are still stealing, but do you know what they do afterwards? The plough the money into productive ventures that will employ tens and hundreds of locals and when FBI and Mi5 turn up they won't be able to do much because people will be jobless in seconds if they decided to take a full legal action, they will just review the situation and give the thief slap on the wrist inform of some personal asset's confiscation. |

corpershun: You do know that they are not throwing the money away. They are investing in a business, franchise, Real Estate etc. Their investment is a form of wealth preservation.
For instance in Grenada, real estate appreciates annually by 20% which can be sold after holding it for 5years. With this you already have your citizenship as well as your capital investment with profit. Also Grenada is a tax haven, any money brought in won’t be taxed.
Mehn open your eyes and your mind! Those silent people you see at Ikoyi and Lekki have huge investment in foreign countries.
Never compare yourself with them.
I am doing EE for Canada because that’s what fits my income threshold. Once I get citizenship, I know what I have in mind.
My spouse business, we had good deal for some goods but the contact didn’t continue because he wanted my physical presence in the USA. That was one of the things that spurred me, also one of my mom’s friends told my mom that she’s watching me waste away and not doing anything.
I don’t blame her, her son was featured on TedX and works in a renewable firm in the USA, we finished First degree together but by virtue of going abroad, guy man ‘s network is top notch. How is this your response differ from what I wrote earlier on that those countries are CLEARLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING TO HIDE WHAT THEY STOLE AND AVOID PROSECUTION? The problem with loads of people here is that they think they know much, where as they know very little, Seychelles and Comoro island in this our Africa continent also belongs to those tax haven been used to hide stolen wealth all over the world. My argument still subsists that it's only a crazy man that will take such money from his home country where he calls a barren la d a d plough the same to a Country he considers as a fertile Nation which in the real sense of it it's the real barren land. Do you know Indian's and Chinese have more Billionaires compare to the rest of the world? this is not due to their population but their Stand that their wealth will not step out of the shores of their Nation except when and where it's unavoidable. Have you asked yourself why Indian's, lebanese and lately chinese are now more prosperous in Nigeria than Nigerians themselves? it's simple, the retain their wealth within their nationalities and allow it to pass around for up to 7x,they are following the Isreali model of 12x revolve of money within their nationalities/ country Before it's allowed out. Gerrard59: For a country to be visa free to developed countries, it means there's a semblance of economic normalcy and development. It's why Argentina lost her WHV with America at the height of her financial crisis. Visa free statues aren't given to poor and war-torn countries. In return, people in functioning countries aren't hell bent on relocating compared to their counterparts in dysfunctional countries. So nationals of Caribbean countries aren't hell bent on relocating compared to Nigerians or Zimbabweans. It's simple economics and Maslow Hierarchy of Needs.
It's that visa free status that the likes of Corpershun's boss and others are interested in. You are not on the same level of needs as they are, which is why you won't understand. So Corpershun's boss should be haggling visa applications for his family's holiday to France when he could have bought a strong passport and made things easier?
Regarding your last statement, I reiterate it, I'm not responsible for your frustrated sense of reasoning. You keep wallowing in ignorance,What economic semblance does Belize,Haiti,Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago has with US, Canada or UK? Going to school is highly overated,Common sense, Assimilation and internalization of knowledge are not taught in schools, you develope them on your own via Discussions and socialisation. As at the last Check,Your Nigerian passport is Visa free to Barbados, can you tell what economic semblance Nigeria has with Barbados? Holders of Australia passports which Visa free to UK are subjected to brief interview at the point of entry and are require to register with the home office for longer stay and employment, Ditto European Union countries, they are not even automatically entitle to free home or benefits till after a certin period, these are natives of British overseas territories which are British themselves if you go back 500/600yrs back. I have said it,the problem with you guys is half information, which is even more confusing that no information. Ask those who live abroad including those who broke banks to have those nationalities what they will do with $150k cash in the kitty,99% of them will tell you that they are ready to relocate back home with such an amount. if it were that easy, most of them would have been back here after 3yrs |

It is why I believe most folks who cannot afford CBI but can do same for Express Entry will return to Nigeria when they attain citizenship. But one Solatium believes Dangote will travel visa free to Singapore with a Nigerian passport because he will not afford CBI even though he has a yacht and private jet (the top two luxury mobility gadgets) as CBI is a waste of money.
N for naviety.
