you really think pentecostals have problems with asking for forgiveness which ever way even if it is through confession? What they cannot stand is letting some one else know what bad thing they have done in the past! But its ok. You have got nothing to fear. No priest don ever make jest of anyone wey come to confessional before. Instead of fighting the confession thing, why dont you just avail yourself the grace that abounds. 1 Like |

absolutely nothing is wrong with it. If you want to eat, eat. But if you dont want it, then dont! Dont let ill informed pastors mis educate you with their ignorance and prejudice. These are people who say things they dont know about islam. There was this colleague of mine that told me muslims worship the sun and thats why they face the east to pray. So you can see how far people can go to mis inform others with their ignorance and hate. She said that with all convinction like she actually knew what she was saying. We know that the reason muslims face the east is becos thats the direstion of the kaaba. The chinese muslim doesnt face the east, he faces the west! So there is no worshiping of the sun here! Back to the topic. They are offering a sacrifice yes. But not to an idol becos they worship thegod of abraham, isaac and jacob. The same god christians call upon. Muslims do not claim the sacrifice is to take away their sins so the question of "jesus has done once and for all " as laid by christians do not come to play here. And to sum it up, paul said it somehwre in the bible thatyou shouldnt obey rules like dont eat this, dont eat that. What you eat can not have negative effect on you. |

another round of fruitless smear campaign. Op, i am not catholic, but they are people i admire sooo much. I attended their school so i know a great deal about them. I understand their point of view and i have come to realise that pentecostals are only being arogant to anything catholic even though their arguement is not theologically superior to the catholics. My message to you, op is; your predecessors have done this same thing you are doing and they failed. Do you really think yours will make a difference? Stop fighting what you cannot fight. Pick up "jesus of nazareth" by pope benedict and study. It will enhance your faith, you can get it at st. Leo's catholic church in ikeja. You dont have to be catholic to get it. |

for me personally, i have no problem going after the woman that melts my heart no matter how much she earns better than me. But if there is a reason i would hesitate, then its not going to be becos she is earning more, but becos given the behaviour of women, she would tell you off possibly in a rude way especiallyif you are not up to her status. So when men stay away ladies who earn more than they do, it isnt about fear but about protecting themselves from possible embarrasment. Which can be so hurtful |

reading through the op's post, what i can infer from adeboye's talk is; chastity is for women and not for men. They make us to think that the man only takes and apart from doing the taking, the man is nothing more! i think cameroon is great! Samuel etoo, rodger milla et al. i have always seen cameroon as our rival especially in football. They were the only team in africa that gave us a run for our money. The only match we lost at the national stadium in lagos was to cameroon when you beat us on home soil to win the african cup of nations. That happened in 2000. Tell me how you celebrated that day cameroonpride and nayah?it is cameroon that is our rival not ghana. The only similarity we have with ghana is that we were both colonized by britain thats all! nigeria is one of the only three countries in africa that has a skyline. You can search for "lagos, nigeria. The africa you dont see on tv" on you tube and see for yourself. I am tired of defending nigeria on this forum. Nigerians here are saying whats not true. To all the non nigerians here, dont believe all the negativities you see here about nigeria, the reason is; nigerians are highly deluded and fraustrated so they exaggerate all negativities. they cook up negativities that are just not true and they find pleasure in doing so! 1 Like 1 Share |
