Motivation!!

I am a Frustrated and depressed Computer Science Graduate. At the moment..i am at a crossroad without direction and out of energy.

I am deeply hurt, going down memory lane brings tears to my eyes. Going to school was nothing short of miracle. Mum fought tooth and nail to make sure I became a graduate.

During my service in Ogun state, my mum began to fall ill incessantly. I became seriously worried. I sent 80% of my allawee to them and invested the rest in my crayfish business which was thriving until the sudden decline.

I have looked for work in more than 7 states.. Once i hear that a company or firm is recruiting, i send application and go for interview. I used up all my savings looking for work hoping it will work out.

As it is now... the ‘graaguate’ (In my mother’s voice) cannot afford to buy her mother’s medication. I am tired. My mother gets better today and gets worse the next day.

Help with a job please. This girl’s life is dependent on this post. I will be eternally grateful.

Seems you based in Anambra, if you have any one in Lagos.. Its time you relocate..

Let me know if you need a link to take some IT courses in universities across England for free and earn a certificate... Its really going to boost you.

Lastly there are lot of IT companies in lagos especially ikeja... if you want to compete with people like you.. You gonna need some attractive IT CV...

If you got some idea about programing pls go for Cyber Security Coder... You will definitely be a cyber security professional and might use the coding skills to write tools that automate certain security tasks..

In reality where you live and where you reside for a long time. Is the country which you are from. I was born in Nigeria and left the country at the age of 5 years old. I've traveled all around the world when I applied for American visa and also British visa I wrote in the application form that I am a Nigerian. American embassy and British Embassy in Portugal told me I made a mistake the country which you have stayed in the longest that is the country which you are from and the country which you are providing to reside in. So in this whole issue it is not where you are born and that is where we are making a lot of mistake. Is the country which you are staying in and planning to leave for the rest of your life when you are bored. I have seen a lot of Nigeria children in UK America South Africa with Nigerian passport this children have never even step to Nigeria. Can you say they are Nigerian

By Origin they are Nigerian, and they have the full right to return at anytime...

But its a great thing to take your kids back home... Just to learn little bit where their papa and mama grew up

A friend got married to a white American.. They relocated back to Nigeria for work purpose... After 6years + the lady never get opportunity to pickup her citizenship till now...

I bet you guys don't know its a very difficult task for a foreigner to pick up a Nigerian citizenship (naija passport)...

Well, you no go know, buts that's just the truth

Immigration will only renew your temporary permit for 10years or less before rhey consider you

Especially if you are white..

Normally, JS will take months to learn. Most programmers will say that it will take at least 6-9 months to learn basic JavaScript and really be comfortable with it.. Tho thats if you completely novic with any programming language.. Even then, you will still spend years gaining new skills and a deeper understanding of JavaScript, I really think dedication and putting your full time attention on the course can speed up things for you real quick...

With full focus! 4 month can go a long way for you

This topic reminds me of my secondary classmate that travelled out. We were good friends. 3years later he was added to our class whatsApp group chat. I commented and said hey it's been a while ooo. He asked of my name, I told him. He said he can't remember me. I was really embarrassed. Just 3years ooo. I started describing how we always gist and how we were encouraging ourselves during waec. (Shalayeing things) Lmao he said "i don't know who you are ooo". I was shocked.

no need for long talk. The reason we the abroadian hardly respond to some our folks messages is that they like to change every conversation or chat to monetary favour. I was chatting with my cousin and the next thing she said "you just forget me oo, I dey hungry oo., I need money" can u imagine that rubbish? Most people don't even know how to have a prosper conversation without resorting to financial favor. The main reason abroadian don't respond to some people in naija is because y'all like to use every conversation as financial opportunity as if we are picking the money from tree . As for me I respond to everyone messages but the moment you try to change the narrative to unnecessary complain, I go just ignored ur ass or tell u say "I never chop since morning oo abeg send me money from Naija" hahahaha.
