Some moderators of Nairaland are very st*pid. What is not supposed to make front page is what we mostly see here.
But important issues, stories and news posted can not make front page.

Nairaland has been bastardized by the so-called moderators.
e.g. Toke Makinwa's personal/family matter that come up every now and then is of what importance? What is our business with that?
See Anie Idibia in kitchen------means what?
See another person at the airport----nonsense
See the other one in her bedroom----rubbish
See what one useless idiot wore to a party
See how some useless girls are pouring champagne into their private parts in a party sponsored by one useless politician and money-miss-road.
See this see that--------what benefit

Seun, have a rethink or some else will become of nairaland.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: They Require A Third Class Graduate. What Could Be The Reason? by solidifi: 10:31am On Jun 11, 2015
I came out with 3.10 CGPA. 0.4 dropped me from 2.1 to 2.2.
A computer course caused this for me. I did not study computer science or engineering in the University.

Imagine one young lecturer was teaching us computer back then, without even a single desktop computer.
And his style wasn't encouraging. I failed the course, carried it over, and managed to pass it when I passed it. You know what that means.

This is one of the issues. And one employer somewhere will asking me to provide 2.1, when actually I was even teaching and academically helping my fellow course-mates, assisting some of my lecturers to mark scripts, invigilate other students during exams, assisting some lecturers in writing text books and NGO research works etc. And somebody is telling me I don't have a 2.1 or 1st class.

Anyway, like I said, that' what Nigeria want. Some students did not graduate. They found their ways to NYSC, passed out, and are working and earning big money in some ministries and parastatals.

Ask them to go and get their certificates from their schools, they can't.

Let me tell us something here. I passed through the four-walls of the polytechnic and the University in this Nigeria.
Note: Am not a third class holder.

But let's get it clear. Nigeria/Nigerians like 'paper qualification' and not 'brain qualification or ability'. That's why you see a lot of
so-called 2.1 and 2.2.
What am I saying, am saying from experience that 99.5% of the so-called 2.1 and 2.2 holders that you see, especially 2.1 do not merit it.

Some lecturers on their own part are not helping matters.

One thing or the other may make a 2.1 or 2.2 material to drop down to third-class, that does not mean he/she is a dullard.

I repeat most 2.1 and 2.2 graduates can't defend it. They got it through hook or crook means because that's what Nigerian employers want.

So, I appreciate the company(ies) that are genuinely recognizing third-class graduates. Even if they didn't make it well academically, they good ones might have realized their mistakes, and can do better in other areas of life.

Education / A Nigerian President Is A Prostitute by solidifi: 10:42pm On Jun 07, 2015
Syllogism: Getting a conclusion from the 1st and 2nd premises.

A good definition of a prostitute is
One who belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody at the same time.

If this definition is correct. Then it goes thus:

1) A prostitute belongs to everybody and to nobody.
2) A Nigerian President belongs to everybody and to nobody.
3) A Nigerian President is a prostitute.

Will it be out of place to say that an ex General cum President of Nigeria is a prostitute?

Prove me wrong if you can.

No insult to the President. But this is derived from syllogism.
Jokes Etc / Read This: What A Man Can Do, A Woman Can Also Do by solidifi: 6:47pm On Jun 02, 2015
This happened between three secondary students, a girl and two boys.
On a sunny day after school, these students were coming back from school.

Two boys:---One of the two boys climbed an orange tree and plucked some oranges. While they were enjoying the oranges.

The girl:----Came to them and begged for one orange.

Two boys:---------No, we won't give you.

The girl:-----------You think I can't climb and get oranges for myself?

The boys:---------Climb if you can

The girl climbed and got oranges for herself. On reaching home, she narrated what happened between her and her schoolmates
to her mum.

The girl's mum:----Chai, they have seen your pant.

The girl:----------No mum, that was why I removed my pant before climbing.

Politics / Re: Borno Gov To Buhari: Give N/east 13% Oil Derivation by solidifi: 11:26am On May 19, 2015
This is expected.

I have asked this question before. May be nobody heard me. Let me ask again.
Did Nigerians fought war? or did other regions gathered and destroyed the N/E?

Why on earth should we use the money from other regions (S/S, S/E) to rebuild N/E that was
destroyed by useless, st*pid, senseless, unproductive bigots and always neglect the goose that
laid the golden eggs?

This why the north is constantly hungry for power.

When others are busy building their region, the north is busy destroying theirs, planning to use the country's money as they like.

Enough of this NONSENSE.

The way and manner we conclude on issues sometimes annoy me.

The question is who was there in the house/room with them to confirm that they actually had sex?
The suspect said they did not have sex. and the victim is dead to counter it.

So we should take what the suspect has said. It's quite unfortunate.

RIP to the dead.

Politics / Re: Falling Oil Prices Threaten My Agenda — Buhari by solidifi: 9:33am On Apr 30, 2015
Buhari is giving too many excuses.

Let him get in there and do the magic he has promised. I taught he had studied the Nigerian problems
before he was hell-bent in ruling this Nigeria, or he didn't remember that this is not military era and other world economic challenges?

If I may ask, did Nigeria fight war? Why is he talking of rebuilding the north-east. The senseless, unproductive muslim people destroyed their
area, so let them rebuild it.

Why should somebody use our money to rebuild the north while the s-s & s-e where the money is coming from suffer again?
This is another regime of backwardness of the s-s & s-e. Consideration and attention back to the north again. The region that cause us pains
all the time.

S-S & S-E ARISE!! ARISE!!!!!!!!! This is getting too much. ARISE NOW or remain backward or second class citizens in this so-called Nigeria.

Patience Jonathan is right to shift the date of the summit.

1) She's the summit's outgoing president and she has to hand over. Can you attend a meeting and handover as an ex?
2) Buhari said there will be no office of the first lady.

We are watching and following bit by bit, step by step of every words and promises of Buhari.

Yes, the house where the problem of this so-called Nigeria started. It will never be well with Lugard.
Yes though the did has been done. But it can be corrected. Let the truth be told,

WE ARE NOT ONE NIGERIA.

The earlier we split this country called Nigeria which was built on falsehood, the better. The problem is that so-called Nigerians don't tell themselves the truth even when they know it.

I repeat there's nothing like one Nigeria. View it religiously, culturally, politically, geographically etc.

1) Is this actually a kidnapping incident? The parents of this little girl should check her properly physically and spiritually.
2) How did the so-called kidnappers get the girl's father phone number, definitely the little girl can't know and say his father's phone number off-
hand.

Business / Re: What Business Is The Most Profitable To Invest In Nigeria by solidifi: 9:53am On Apr 13, 2015
I agree with EggovinMma. Business that is being patronised everyday is good business. Don't look at the volume of returns. It may be small, but it is on daily basis. e.g.

1) Food stuffs.

2) Ashawo house (Brothel) with different sizes and shapes of ashawos. This may look awkward to some people. But guys, there is this ashawo joint in Calabar, I know some of you know the place. Two brothers own the place. These brothers buy latest cars and houses with ease. This is business or is it not? Some others in other states, you name them.....guy this business gives money.
Celebrities / Re: I Would Rather Masturbate Than Have Sex With Prostitutes – Patoranking by solidifi: 1:39pm On Mar 30, 2015
Patoranking....You are living in ignorance.

All the girls you have been f*cking are they your wives? or do you think you are the only one f*cking them? How do you classify prostitutes? You sleep with a girl and you give her money, what is she? or do you think is only when you pick them on the street or brothels? So long as the lady is not your wife, she's a prostitute or in disguise. You are not the only one she's sleeping with.

Get that into your ignorant skull.

But what of the other jobs? Are my observations right?
Career / Re: Opinion: Certain Jobs You Don't Accept. by solidifi: 2:01pm On Mar 20, 2015
I have a good job. But just an opinion I want us to share. Others can learn from it and not to make mistakes. I do know that jobs are hard to find these days. But you cannot because the ''Lamb of God is dead, you now kill yourself with lamb meat pepper soup''.
Career / Opinion: Certain Jobs You Don't Accept. by solidifi: 1:35pm On Mar 20, 2015
Though this a personal choice or preference. I never liked the following jobs:
1) Police work (Nigerian Police)
2) Bank work
3) PA - Personal Assistant.

Reasons:
(Nigerian) Policemen are worse than armed robbers. They are liars.

Bank work is as good as ashawo work. It eats your time. It makes you live a fake lifestyle with or without you knowing it. Makes you count and safe-keep other people's money and talk in millions even when you don't have. Makes you keep looking for bank jobs when you are out of one bank. Makes you unfit for most other jobs in other establishments. Finally renders you useless when you are out of bank work.

PA job appears to me like a ''boy-boy'' (house boy) job. I can't imagine myself attached to my fellow man like super glue. His movement and lifestyle determine my own, God forbid. Instead, I join local women in one local market and sell crayfish.

This is my position on these jobs. Let's hear or read yours.
Thanx.
