Aderostock: Stupid omo Igbo that doesn't know anything. Lagos was better off during Tinubu tenure without FG's allocation than all your combined states in the SE at that time. Oloshi ajeokuta mamomi
what you just wrote is bull-shitt.
How much tax revenue did tinubu generated from oil companies in lagos, you fool.
Instead of proving to me that lagos can survive without any oil-related revenue, you are here barking like a rabid dog.
Bloody parasites.
Incase you don't know,i have both SE/SS parentage, maybe you should extend your personal attacks to the SS states also.
Amala eating nincompoop!!.

Aderostock: Are these what you called governance? Am sorry for your generations! When governors are building roads, creating jobs, creating light rails and developing humans what your governor could were these local council projects. Pls make I no curse you cos am in akoko now
Though its none of my business, who rules SW and who does not,but you sound like you've been paid.
Politics › Re: Mimiko Blasts Tinubu: "My Three And Half Years Is Better Than Your 8 Years" by solomon111(m): 10:55pm On Oct 07, 2012
I see nairalanders hinging tinubu's failure on petro-dollars from the FG.:
so it is clear that lagos is nothing without resources from the SS/SE.
Yet this same set of un-grateful yorubas will be asking their benefactors to leave lagos.
A lagos upgraded with their own natural resources.
Yorubas are pathetically parasitic.
Tufia!!
Politics › Re: Chimamanda's Review Of Chinua Achebe's Memoir: Things Left Unsaid. by solomon111(m): 10:32pm On Oct 07, 2012
Mighty Sparrow: So long a letter. I do not understand why igbos cry on spilled milk. The deed is done. Every tribe in Nigeria lost their loved ones to Biafra war. Do the igbos think heavier losses should be recorded in a war declared in their on soil? What do they really want from Nigeria and nigerians?
STFU.
Go and tell south-africans to forget about the arpatheid.
Go and tell the UN to erase the memory of the holocaust from history, before asking the igbos to forget about the biafra war.
As long as they stay in the same country with the yaribas and the hausas, they will always remember the biafran war.
Politics › Re: Mimiko Blasts Tinubu: "My Three And Half Years Is Better Than Your 8 Years" by solomon111(m): 9:17pm On Oct 07, 2012
Every man and his dog knows that tinubu is one of worst governors in the history of Nigeria as a whole.
Only an idiottt will fault mimiko's statement.

The bitttch is Disappointed that awo history has been thrown into the dustbin of life.
Awo reputation has suffered a devastating blow both locally and internationally.
He has now been placed alongside hitler,stalin,idi-amin,and the rest of the them.
What a shame.
So much for awo free education.
Lol.
Politics › Re: Achebe On Awolowo: Has He Gone Too Far? by solomon111(m): 10:36am On Oct 07, 2012
I actually understand when yaribas say the war should be forgotten,as they are ashamed of their history and the roles their sadistic leaders played.
But what i can't understand is when the sons and daughters of alaigbo ask that the biafra war be forgotten.
It boggles the mind, how any sane igbo will want to forget about a war where over 3 million of his/her people were slaughtered in an act tantamount to crude genocidice.
How do you forget the war, when you live in the same country with the perpetrators of genocide against your own people?
Has the holocaust be forgotten?
Has the arpatheid be forgotten?
Why should the biafria war be forgotten?
You must know where you are coming from, to know where you are going.

alj harem: The only people angry at such laws are the "mama I dey go lagos". If these idi.ots have brought kidnapping etc to Lagos. Now a thinking governor said commercial use vehicles aka danfo and Co should have Lagos state registration and plate number so when we see abia or borno plate number on danfos and Co we can know that this one Christmas money e dey look for aka kidnapping or worse.

Biko if you don't like the law that protects her citizens, we have 35 more states we all can chose to live in. abi na by force say you MUST live in SW Nigeria ?
God punish you and your SW,if you do not return the sack-loads of petro-dollars,and taxes generated from oil-coys,resident in lagos to the Niger-delta.
I don't get it. . .I honestly don't get it. How clueless can one be not to know what they did or didn't do? I mean this is like someone telling me I won a gold medal for a race I never ran and me throwing a party to celebrate.

Is it that the GEJ thinks his mere presence as the president and not any action from him is supposed to curb corruption? Is that why he was so quick to embrace the so called "Notorious fact"? I am seriously, seriously confused!! embarassed

Now his defenders are going to blame "His Enemies". . .they will be right of course but they are looking in the wrong direction. The President's enemies are the people he has surrounded himself with. I don't think anyone can do as much damage has they have done even if they paid them. undecided
Go and sit down.
You have no fresh opinion.
We already know what you will say even before you say it.
You will do yourself a world of good,by taking a leave from Nairaland to develop fresh and renewed perspective to issues,if not for anything,at least to save us the misery of constantly reading the boring empty rhetorics, and sack-loads of pseudo-intellectual analysis, you regularly feed us with.

kaeto: If ACN is willing, with all due respect, we from the S.east 'must' swallow our pride and join forces with them. It almost happened in my state, Abia, in 2011 guber polls, were ACN's candidate was more prefered. Fashola could step up his game and become the president for good. I have waited long enough for good governance and I know you are completely out of patience too. This much needed and awaited change must come with a level of sacrifice,my opinion though.
