Mujah1deen: you are a bigot and I don't have the time to entertain one today okay? If you think it is easy for others to understand your southern accents I think we are done here. But keep in mind that the power won't remain in south , the earlier you accept and don't fight useless battles the better for everyone. So keep insulting northerners, keep mocking them because you are on top, our time is coming.

And this is a Transmission substation (with Associated Transmission Lines), not a Distribution substation.

It is one of the ongoing commissioning of complted NIPP Project (Generation, Transmission, Distribution) nationwide.
NIPP commissioned 7 of of such projects in Lagos about a week ago (b4 then they were at Jos and Ibadan) http://www.zimbio.com/Nigeria+Today/articles/NzATHpLW2IG/Ndphc+Commissions+Seven+Projects+Lagos. They moved to Anambra, and I think Enugu, after that. I read somewhere that they intend to inaugurate about 100 of such Power Projects across the nation before year end, including the EXTREMELY CRITICAL Ikot Ekpene-New Haven Enugu-Markudi-Jos 4 to 8 phase Transmission Line. Some of the 8 Remaining Power Generating Stations should also be commissioned by the President himself b4 year end.

As the MD of NPDCH/NIPP recently said: It is Commissioning Galore.

ROSSIKE: Stop reasoning like an illiterate. Those structures are not ''useless'' or built ''for show''. They were erected by investors in the Angolan economy and are corporate headquarters of banks, insurance, oil, construction, law, and other sectors. Their presence indicate a BOOMING ECONOMY. Do you expect such firms to operate from boys quarters or shacks? Saying ''invest in education'' etc assumes it is the Angolan govt that is erecting those buildings, showing you have very limited understanding of how economies work. Also, I can bet you've not looked at Angola's education budget, so don't criticize what you know nothing about. And those mass high rise housing estates certainly look like govt attempts to ''raise the living standards of the people'', so what are you moaning about? You would rather see slums, since modern buildings are ''not for Africans but for first world countries''? Please think before you type.

sonickay: Seconded. This looks like an "assembling point" to me, that shud be the right phrase not "manufacturing", Armoured Personnel Carriers are not plastic toys, it requires lots of manpower, time and resources to build.
