Politics / Re: Ngozi Okonjo Iweala And Occupy Nigeria Group: Twitter Fight! by solomon111(m): 11:54am On Dec 22, 2013
The job of the co-ordinating minister of the economy to create functional policies that would enhance job creation, investment and an all-inclusive growth.
It's left for the state and local govts to tap into this policies and improve the life of their people.
The state and local govts are closer to the masses than the minister of finance.

Shut up and stop displaying your ignorance.
NOI was the most qualified both on paper and in real life experience as attested to by both the american govt and media.
You think she would've had any chance if she was anything but.
I wonder why she is still stressing herself in an ungrateful, complicated nation like Nigeria instead of just taking up an easier job at the world bank with probably better pay.

Occupy Nigeria group?
I laugh.
If these ones that can't engage in a simple economic debate with the minister except spewing out emotional verbose take hold of the country, then it means Nigeria will plung into a somalia-like economy.

Hehe, now you can see where you peers are heading and how far they have left you!
I was expecting you to talk down that pakistani jet.
Afterall,it's not the most sophisticated jet around.
Politics / Re: Pakistan Launches Production Of New Fighter Jet by solomon111(m): 9:52am On Dec 22, 2013
And this's the same pakistan where infrastructure is still very poor and majority of the populace are under crushing poverty.
I'm sure if this jet were to be built in Nigeria, some doofus would start calling it a misplacement of priority or at worse start comparing it to the latest american fighter.
Fuccking idiotts.

The Naija-ghana war is a wonder.
It seems you guys don't realize that the continual well-being of Nigeria would automatically transfer to the overall devt of ECOWAS nations and ghana especially.

The variety of comments from all over the world that follows their news reports are always very interesting.
Some of the commentators can be very smart and noteworthy, while most are just plain ignorant or even daftt.

obailala: Sometimes I wonder why after some Nigerians watch too much TV they begin to think from their anus.... How can anyone possibly condemn this development simply because it doesn't compare to US drones??... angry
Seriously,i tire.
This's why i always say Nigeria may never become another china.
Nigerians wants the best without striving to support and develop their own.
The chinese and even russian made airframes and drones are still inferior to that of america, but it works nonetheless.
The chinese supports and encourage their own products no matter how superior the competitor is.
It's only a matter of time before the technological gap is breached just like we're seeing between the US and china.

We cannot celebrate mediocrity for the heck of it.

Whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well.

You cannot buy an OTC UAV and falsely present it as a product of NAF non-existing R & D department
.

Now i've had enough of this guy.
What is wrong in acknowledging the fact that we've began to focus on indigenous technology?
How many african countries can build drones?
What's Nigeria's defence budget compared to countries like america with the so-called superior drones?
I would also like you to provide proof that the drone was bought.?
As for the R&grin ,it's obvious you've not heard of the Airforce institute of technology that has made some progress in indigenous manufacturing, design and maintainance of airframes especially through tech transfer which i won't bother highlighting.
I wouldn't want to call you an empty vessel that's largely ignorant of the subject matter, though i'm compelled to.

Bullshitt.
She has made enough money for herself in NIGERIA and living the good life.
It shouldn't be too difficult getting citizenship in England if she need it.
Btw,the UK is not the country of the future.
Nigeria would probably overtake them at some point if we don't divide.

chinziaski: I think University of Ibadan is the finest school you will ever see in Nigeria. Its not about structures and all that. The planning of the school is superb, well-planned structures. I did not attend that school but I have been there and stayed there for some months.

I have been to OAU too, they have structures, yes and ABU zaria is fine from the pictures shown here but you will see the hands of the whites in the planning of the buildings and hostel, plz give it to UI. They rock!
How can you say UI is Nigeria's finest school?.
That's blasphemy.
It means other Nigerian unis must look like shitt.

As if the ones in power have not done enough harm, washington is now trying to create the next generation of western puppets to ensure the continuous subjugation of the next generation of africa to the will of the west.
Oh,foolish africa!
Who has bewitched you?
We should be learning from china, india and brazil.
Unlike the west,we share a similar background to those three nations.

If exposing the ills in the society means disgracing yourself in the public the you really have a lot to learn son. Go and read yourbook.
You're lucky i just saw this your reply, so i will try my best not to insult you.
There's a BIG difference between exposing societal ills and telling falsehood.
If you had a functioning brain, you would realize that.
Once again, shoes like those are not the TYPICAL footware of Nigerian students.
Maybe you need to go look up the meaning of the word "typical".
Queen indeed.
