These PDP clowns no go kill pesin with laughter for real...lmao
Don't worry,he will contest.
Gej is just being a good statesman by not overheating the polity unnecessarily and before time unlike our APC 'progressives'.

agbameta: Our portion in life is always to progress and showcase our progress while your own village portion in life is to always to show up, bitter, anger, upset and jealous.

In fact, if you predictable villagers no show up to display your usual bitterness and anger, I'd be surprised and upset..
Look at this idiott.
Lagos state has become the SW abi?
Okay.

Scorpionking: That is because you are Nigerian so you hear more about the Nigerian ones . Nigeria having a much higher population(overpopulation) and more immigrants is a factor,Most people from southern africa like Namibia,Botswana etc are rather content with their country instead of escaping in droves like nigerians.
Again I think Nigerians like India and china should invest in population reduction schemes and awareness instead of bragging about higher population.higher population is something of ignorance and shame. a higher population causes 1. Unemployment 2. malnutrition /starvation 3. Crime 4. Corruption and many many more.
Look I don't mean any harm here ,i'm only stating facts and reality. check out my other topic on how to build Nigeria and even Africa.

Population is a double-edged sword.
The reason why china and india are economic giants today owes largely to their enormous local market and their huge skilled diasporean pool.
The question is how do we manage population as an agent of economic growth.

Litmus: Intriguing

However, one thing baffles me; these league tables that continually elevate African Universities, Collages and places of technology above Nigerian institutes, why is it that students from these places never seem to outperform lowly Nigerian students in international achievements, recognition and competitions.

For example this: International Olympiad of Mathematics : http://imo2006.dmfa.si/results_itd.html
True,Nigerians outperform most africans in academics.
It's probably a function of the IQ disparity between Nigerians and the rest of africa.
Imagine what it would be like if we really invest in education and applied sciences especially, to world-class standards.
PoliticsRe: . by solomon111(m): 5:05pm On Dec 13, 2013
There's a Nigerian university in africa's top 10 for 2013 or so.
Obafemi awolowo uni was at number 8.

What about your village? Your isi ewu leaders are too lazy and incompetent to key into something to benefit your people too?

Bunch of losers...lmao

Your paymaster is keying into the good policy of the FG, just like many states especially in the north have been doing for some time now without shouting it on the rooftop.

sakaguchi: On a serious note, we are doing ourselves great disservice in trying to phatom out the best from these duo. Why? Is their not enough room for several Africans to stand as best in the podium of history.
I really don't know much about Nkrumah, my apologies but the little I know about him shows him to be a great leader albeit his not so pleasant end.
Secondly, the argument of the greatest african with these 2 as contenders would never surface in Tunisia, Morocco or Libya.
Let's call africa the black world. If that is true, then I will give the greatest africans to be :
W. E. B Du Bois
Nnamdi Azikwe
Desmond Tutu
Ahmadu Bello
Nelson Mandela
Kwame Nkrumah
Obafemi Awolowo
Robert Mugabe
Kamuzu Banda
Malcolm X
Martin Luther King
And all the the champions of the black race who paid the ultimate price for the struggle.

N.B this list is in no particular order.
would you mind telling me what awolowo did for the BLACK RACE?
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by solomon111(m): 11:35am On Dec 13, 2013
cosfrac: Who is Nkruma to Nnamdi Azikiwe of Africa talk more of Mandela
Nkrumah and azikiwe were the same.
Nkrumah was a major factor in the independence of many african countries including Nigeria.
Mandela was a terrorist cum freedom fighter that fought for black southafricans only.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by solomon111(m): 11:14am On Dec 13, 2013
Mandela should be compared with the likes of ojukwu and awolowo.
Those three were fighting ethnic/national interests.
Nkrumah should be compared to the likes of azikiwe, sankara and even ghadaffi.
Those four were avid pan-africanists.
A pan-africanist is surely the greater.
It dosen't matter if 91 world leaders came to your burial of which atleast 15 of them were your adverseries not too long ago and came to pay an insincere respects.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by solomon111(m): 11:00am On Dec 13, 2013
I'm tired of all these mandela stories.
The guy's 'heroism' was pecuilar to SA for fucck sakes.
How can someone then call him the greatest african?
Unlike mandela,Kwame Nkrumah was a pan-africanist and a friend of the great zik of africa.
Nkrumah is clearly the greater, but then i won't call him the greatest.
PoliticsRe: . by solomon111(m): 10:43am On Dec 13, 2013
China is the giant of Asia due to its economy and population.
The country that can boast of a bigger economy than Nigeria in Africa is SA.
While Nigeria beats all the other african countries both in market and economic potential.
Nigeria is probably the only country in Africa that has the potential of becoming a member of the G-8 economy and sustaining that position.
OP is a biased southafrican.
[s][/s]

Have you got a brain? huh What has "Mungo Park" and his fallacies got to do with this?

Anyway, let me give you the summary of events again by the supreme intellectual genius who wrote the article and make sure you use your darn big brain this time. I shall be back around noon to read your reply. Too busy with work now.

- Breaking of the ‘Gentleman’s Agreement’ of rotating presidency between North and South.

- That effectively and temporarily shifted power to the South from the North who had Nigeria on the chokehold since independence.

- By default GEJ became the president.

- He, GEJ, left himself unguarded by exposing his rear-end and by surrounding himself with sycophants. He moved away from the Boss/Don (I don't know if you understand the mafia's hierarchy) who played the game on his behalf to his advantage. Bear in mind that GEJ is the Underboss and the Underboss is basically useless without the Boss/Don and his connect.

- Subsequently the North with the help of the Americans changed the game plan after clipping his wings.

- Then the proxy war began.

^^^^Now think and post something sensible! cool
The so-called gentleman agreement between the North and south is what has kept us in the doldrums with years of disastrous rule.
If it takes GEJ to introduce some form of entropy in the system and shake it up,then so be it.
If Nigeria does not disintegrate in 2015 after GEJ wins, then Nigeria would get better.
2015 will either make or mar Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Change Of Tactics In The North Checkmates Obj And Catches Jonathan In A Trap by solomon111(m): 10:12am On Dec 13, 2013
PointB: Sleeper cell and coup indeed. Anyway, I welcome a coup. We all know how that will pan out.

They hijacked Boko Haram, huh? Well, they should equally embrace it, caress it, and f__k it. That's their lot. Boko Haram as is presently constituted is more of a disadvantage to the North if anything.

I bet the EU like the face of the Kenyan, Sudanese, and maybe Zimbabwe President? And that has stopped them being President?. cheesy cheesy cheesy Let them come and cast their votes in Nigeria. Rubbish! In the end, it is what Nigerians decides that counts. So far, Nigerian will rather:

1. Have GEJ continue,
2. Restructure the country
3. Dismantle the country.

So far the President's 'body language' and indeed 'body of languages' points those direction, to the chagrin professional politicians.I'll give coins to aid any of three outcome.
It's obviously why the west want a Northerner in power.
The Northerners are usually docile,highly-unambitious and very subservient especially to the west.
They want Nigeria to remain the way it is.
A nation that cowers and bows to the west.
A nation that would never realize its potential and compete with them, just like india, china and brazil are doing.
PoliticsRe: Change Of Tactics In The North Checkmates Obj And Catches Jonathan In A Trap by solomon111(m): 9:56am On Dec 13, 2013
Bullshitt.
This was how this same frisk larr said GEJ would never become president due to the Northern influence.
Whatever happens in 2015,i'm game.
One thing i know is that GEJ will defeat buhari in 2015.
If it means the country dividing, all well and good.
We're tired of catering for parasites, whose only agenda is to foster imcompetency on the rest of the country with an unfortunate support from cowardly judases in the south.
We need to spend our money on ourselves.

Who're all these people sef that just come online and spew hocus-pocus?
Are you sure you've lived in Nigeria before?
How can somebody just come and put up one picture without source and call that the "typical shoe" of Nigerian students?
In all my years in Nigeria,i've not seen where this worn-out shoe became the TYPICAL footware of Nigerian students.
Infact, shoes like this are not accepted in most public schools.
You people should stop disgracing yourselves before the world.
Yes,we need better leadership, but that dosen't mean we should start telling falsehood to exagerrate the bad.

Kairoseki77: Jonathan needs to figure out why the NFF was having problems in the first place.

Somebody in the Ministry of Sports is obviously corrupt. They should be exposed and sacked.

Everything else is only a temporary fix.
Jonathan has no control over the NFF.
Any attempt of the FG to influence or change decisions/personell would see FIFA hammer falling on us.

arewa queen: Nawaooo! I don't know where to start from but labaran makus speech is full of lies. Jonathan is a democratic leader so I wonder why politicians play this regional game. As a democratic government no region should have preference over the other. Projects and development should be simultaneously executed all around the country.
He's trying to counter those that said the north is not being developed under GEJ.
There are projects all over the country, maku highlighted the ones in the North.

BluIvy: Why should I tell you anything when google is free. Our inflation is lower than yours, our debt is lower than yours, we have an A+ international rating while your is BB-.
Your inflation is lower because of your minute population.
It dosen't mean anything.
Your inflation is also lower than SA,india, japan and other major economies.
2)Our debt profile is less than $10billion.
Very low for a population of 170million.
I'm sure if you compare the population/debt ratio of both countries,Nigeria is better off.
Btw,Nigeria has the much bigger foreign reserve.
3)credit ratings don't tell the whole story as they're usually based on many factors like security and stability, which is still pretty fragile in Nigeria.
Credit ratings are meant to act as guide for investors.
Anyway,Nigeria attracts the highest foreign investments in africa.
So your A+ is only on paper.

virtueismyne: It doesnt matter what d situation of nigeria might be today, whether bad or worst depending on how u see it, we are talking about SA showing or returning gratitude for the past sacrifices made during their time of apartheid. Nigeria ought to have been among the first three nations to be called for tribute. if they could give us a roar they could have as well given us the honor to give a farewell message to the world hero for standing by them during their challenging period.
Shut up with all these gratitude nonsense and stop disgracing us on cyberspace.
Southafricans don't owe you anything.
If you don't like it,ask the Nigerian govt to change their foreign policy and stop interfering in the issues of any african country.
Let them solve their problems by themselves, just as we're doing.
