I will rather naive than be an e-braggat like you. Show evidence of your "strategic secession" moves and then I will take you serious. For now all I hear are delusional rantings and internet farts.

bory09: Smh for them the northern area too wan be among the elite, Oga o such an award given to an underground achiever like atiku when people abound in nigeria with remarkable and well known achievement e.g olusegun obasanjo and so on and why did they give that lamido sanusi mother fucker and award. He has show himself as potential failure one this days na. In conclution i think the award has been zone to northern nigeria for this year that is it
When God created you, he was having an off day which would explain the idiocy behind this comment. There is a wonderful book called "Brighter Grammar", please buy, read and digest its contents, it will do wonders for you.

kulyie: lolllzzzz why all this curses na?
I no curse am o grin grin grin grin. Its just unbelievable that someone would wish her husband (whom she claims to love) unhappiness because of her issues with his mother. I do not doubt that MILs can be horrible but I also do not doubt that wives are sometimes gifts from the bowels of hell itself. It would be good to hear the whole story from the other parties involved before concluding but based on her i.e. Mercy's statements, I would hesitate to blame the MIL.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Emerges African Leadership Magazine Man Of The Year - 2012 by solomonkane(m):
These magazines have been made aware of our love for recognition and our willingness to pay mad amounts of money for toilet paper awards hence this early December joke. This laughable award reminds one of the insanity that characterized the banking sector during Soludo's era. Financial Times of London, The Banker Magazine and other Western print mediums made a killing during that era.

This lady has just proven to be a first class slowpoke. So the absence of a mother-in-law is supposed to guarantee happiness? Any woman who wishes her MIL dead is praying for her husband to be unhappy which means there will never be happiness in the marriage and someday, her son's (or even daughter's hubby/wife) will also wish her dead. For the empty headed ones blaming the husband, where is the evidence that he didn't stand up to the mum? How sure are we that the MIL did not take the actions she did as a result of the behavior of the dolt i.e. Mercy whatever in question? For saying this, she deserves to be divorced and only a guy with a death wish would even consider marrying such an embittered donkey.
CelebritiesRe: I Don't Blame Women Who Wish Their Mother Inlaws Were Dead ..actress Mercy Aigbe by solomonkane(m): 11:15am On Dec 02, 2012
kulyie: d root of d problem is that mummys boys, not all men want to eat their cake and have it.they want to be married men,yet they dont want to accept the fact that they are grown ass men and its time to leave mummy alone,so when they have their house, mummy will still come and leave with him thereby making life miserable for d poor lady who left her family to marry a baby that doesnt want to grow or leave his mom.when men begin to act like men in nigeria and not babies, that will be d end of mother inlaw issues,or why is it more rampant in nigeria
What in God's name is this?

cowgurl: Like people give a fvcck about these laws in Nigeria, they ain't gonna do nada or arrest anyone, these lawmakers are just spewing noise as usual, they gat nothing on them racers.
You are truly living up to your moniker; a first class cow who is also an escaped mental patient. There is a law banning car and bike racing but in your stupidity, you say "Bleep the law". While we are at it, why not f**k every other law ever made and let us all act like animals, after all "is this not Nigeria"? SMH.

I laugh in Urhobo, which "mumu" majority are you talking about? When I see your membership card showing your affiliation with a secessionist group; I will believe. When I see you organizing protests demanding for secession, then I will pay attention to your rantings. When you form a political party which would seek for regional autonomy or confederacy status which would be a forerunner for eventual secession, then I will take you serious. For now, all I hear is bla bla bla from a collection of ignorant little children whose brain cells (the little they had anyway) have been addled by too much exposure to emissions from laptops and phones.

gidiMonsta: Lemme give u an advice, if u wanna claim Niger Deltan try to be subtle in your overly praise of the ibos and outright condemnation of your perceived people. It so obvious that you're ibo and your desperation to convince otherwise is really irritating.
IT i.e. Ikwere's escaped mental patient is not a Niger Deltan, that much is obvious. I doubt if it's even Igbo either. IT is the product of the mating between a syphilitic donkey & a disease ridden sewer rat.

Abagworo: What the President said is the right thing. That's why I've always been against the Beroms in the Jos crisis. A Nigerian should not be seen as a settler in another part of Nigeria. We are all Nigerians. Most of the people promoting ethnicity are misinformed or have alterior political ambitions. If we continue this way, Nigeria will never develop.
Sensible. concise and on point. May you never live in interesting times (paraphrasing the famous Chinese saying). I support the idea 100% but implementation won't come easy. In urban areas like Lagos, Abuja (and to a very lesser extent other state capitals), it may work but try explaining to the average non-cosmopolitan person why the "foreigner" should be able to acquire land, own property and stand for election and hear the vituperation that will follow. Until we begin to change our ethnic identities for a national one, forget our unwholesome attachment to land and natural resources and actually see things from mutually beneficial angles, nothing will change ( at least not for the 18 and above generation but our kids will not inherit this attitude)

I believe the NASS can start by passing a law replacing "state of origin" with "state of residence" but then we have roadblocks like Federal Character, Quota System, Catchment Areas and other well-intentioned but horribly implemented policies so they will have to go first. It all boils down to one thing: IS THE POLITICAL WILL TO SEE IT THROUGH PRESENT?

Tusky44: The Niger Delta people always quick to beat their chest and aver that the Igbos want to claim their oil. Let me educate you once and for a very long time. Your so-called oil is almost halved cos the Fulani had to repay Britain and America for helping them during the civil war. Shell and their likes have damaged your region and they make all the money in profits while your sleazy Nigerian politicians ask for crumbs to remain silent.

The remaining 50% of your oil revenue is shared between the other Nigerian states which leaves you in abject poverty and misery. When we talk of Igbo land, we don't aim for your oil. We are actually referring to the talented human resource in the Southeast. We are talking of people who are capable of engaging in international trade and prospering. Honestly, your oil isn't as important to us as your Onne seaport. We can allow you to have your Ijaw nation or South-south region but sign an agreement that we can import and export via Onne, Calabar, Akwaibom and Delta. You can tap into our vast human resource and learn trades from us. You can partner with us to forge the new world order in West Africa.

The future is not oil. It is natural gas, renewables, recycling, education, and military might. Stop talking about oil please. USA will become self-sufficient with locally produced oil. China even has more shale gas reserves than the whole of North America and as i type, there is a major campaign to start exploring shale in China. For the last time, it isn't your oil in riverine area that can sustain you, your land and water has been destroyed and we can help you clean it up. If you disagree, wait for Akinyomi, Ogunjobi, Yerima, Abdulahi, and co to assist you.
Wow!!!! Now this post cracked me up. grin grin grin grin grin grin The stupidity behind it is so profound, it leaves one in awe of the power of stupidity.

I see you are trying to put a positive spin on what you guys do but the truth is speed racing, drag racing or whatever on a public street or highway is the height of irresponsibility & you all should be jailed for public endangerment. It is the same carefree attitude of one of you guys that landed a friend at the ICU of the National Hospital after he was hit by one mad stunt driver in front of Ceddi Plaza, dude now uses crutches. Another missed death by whiskers in Asokoro. Abuja roads are already dangerous enough without your peculiar brand of madness so whatever it costs; pool your monies together or get a bank loan & build your own tracks. Start NASCAR, Formula One or whatever and you will be applauded.

I think at this juncture, it is safe to say that you are an accursed product of the unholy union between a diseased phallus and a maggot infested vagina. A ranking that brings the whole nation into ridicule is celebrated by a buffoon like you and liked by your fellow cretins because you claim a certain ethnic group has patent rights over it? So places like Ajegunle, Ihiala, Nyanya and other places in Nigeria are only inhabited by Yourbas abi? The open air defecation which is done everyday in homes, schools, offices, orientation camps across Nigeria e.t.c are done by only Yorubas right? Every single tribe in every single state in Nigeria bar none is guilty of this and its a collective shame on all of us.

PoliticsRe: Presidency Officials Accuse Jonathan Of Lying To Nigerians by solomonkane(m): 3:08pm On Nov 19, 2012
take dat: Is it possible for Abati, Okupe and Osinlu to make pronouncement without consulting their principal? Even if the aides made those statements without his knowledge, why did he not denounce or dispel the statements immediately? Abeg their Oga na liar!
Bros don't get me wrong, I am not supporting GEJ but these incidents indicate that there is a disconnect somewhere in the lines of communication in Aso Rock & this isn't good because if we can't trust the aides of GEJ to tell us what is going on accurately, heresay and half truths will be the order of the day which is an invitation to anarchy. I need clarification before jumping to conclusions.
PoliticsRe: Presidency Officials Accuse Jonathan Of Lying To Nigerians by solomonkane(m): 2:54pm On Nov 19, 2012
Maxymilliano: Another concocted tales by moonlight by some jobless media men just to find fault where there is none in the president sincerity. This was the same media that told us fuel price increase is imminent in January, this was the same media that told us Jonathan is already having dialogue with Boko Haram, this was the same media that told us that Manitoba contract was canceled out-rightly, and one common trend in all this outlandish falsehood is that it always emanates from a presidential source who prefers anonymity. Why not mention the names to add some credibility to the news?

Anyway, people can believe what they choose to believe.
The media didn't lie about the alleged Boko Haram dialogue, the Manitoba contract and they also didn't lie about Patience's health. Government aides gave press statements unless you want to say those ones too were manufactured?
PoliticsRe: Presidency Officials Accuse Jonathan Of Lying To Nigerians by solomonkane(m): 2:39pm On Nov 19, 2012
As much as GEJ messes up, its difficult to blame him on this one. Did they consult with the president before releasing these statements or did they think of themselves as omniscient and went ahead to release these press statements without consulting with their principal? These are questions that need answers;

SCENARIO A:

If GEJ was aware and had approved of these statements, then GEJ is a liar who has just thrown Abati and Osinlu to the wolves to deflect attention from himself and can't be trusted so they should resign.

SCENARIO B:

If Abati & Osinlu believing themselves to be consummate all knowing professionals decided to belittle their boss by making statements on his behalf without his knowledge, then GEJ is an innocent bystander and both Abati & Osinlu over reached & should be fired.
